The owner is a funny lady, she helps her self into the room with no regard if someone is sleeping or getting changed, it’s funny if you don’t mind but if you do you might find a problem.

Nice terrace and the rooms are comfortable. It’s a good place for a night or two and the location is perfect

Minor problems that the staff will deal with.

The streets in Fes town centre are too narrow for a taxi to take you to the door of your accommodation. One of the staff came to get me from the taxi otherwise it would have been difficult to find the house. The people that run the place are helpful. Low cost accommodation for a very reasonable price.

The room had a very small, built-in bathroom. The description read while booking lead us to higher expectations.

The hostel is in the Medina, close to the "bab" (gate). It is easy to meet fellow travellers from all over the world, relaxing on the sofas of the common living rooms. The young man at the welcoming desk was very helpful and we eventually understood eachother, even if he spoke mostly arabic and a tiny bit of English and French.

The bathrooms could be cleaner

The staff was nice and helpful. The wifi worked enough to do a zoom meeting. They have a lovely and bossy cat, when you arrive the first thing she will do its to sit on your lap.

Nothing considering the price. Every thing was fine being located in the older quarters of inner city.

Fabulous staff, Yousaf and Ahmed did their best to make my one night stay as comfortable as they could. The free breakfast included the very nominal price of the triple room , was the best I had from Moroccan home stays and Riads...Every thing included , juice, ,cerials egg omelette, olives, cheese honey tea coffee and of course buttered bread as well.,

I was traveling with my friends in Fes and stayed here for a night. Stuff was really kind and helpful. Our room was a bit dark because we didnt have a window in room, that was huge minus. Actually, it was ok for one night.

The hostel is clean enough but there is room for improvement, the bathroom is again fine, but could be better. If you have high hygiene standards, then this place might not be the right one for you, but in this case, you will have struggles all around the country. My room didn't have windows so it was hard to ventilate. However, I had the opportunity to chill at the terrace and breath fresh air the whole time.

1. Finding the hostel is like a little game, be prepared for getting lost in the labyrinth of the Medina(old city). And, believe me, getting lost in there is not a bad experience at all, contrary it could actually be one great experience because all the houses and small streets are so interesting and unique, including Fes Hostel Home /Thank you, Abderrahim(best host) for helping us find home!/. If you are still not convinced to get lost, Abderrahim can arrange you transport from the airport! 2. Great typical Moroccan breakfast with tea, and you enjoy all this from the rooftop of the Home with a magnificent view over the beautiful city of Fes, the nearby mountain and the sunny sky. 3. The flush of ths toilet was not working for 2 days, but we managed. So, it was not a major issue. Rest apart, all was good.

Fes Hostel Home is a nice property (not a Riad) to stay at the heart of Fes Medina. It is very near to the Blue Gate. The rooms are small but perfect for a couple or a family of three. All the rooms in Fes Hostel Home are nicely colored and clean. There was private bathroom and it was tidy. The view from terrace is very beautiful. Even the terrace itself is nicely decorated and the colourful theme was looking excellent. The internet was very strong. The breakfast was a standard one (not a buffet) and was okay. The hospitality from Abdurrahim was great. He came to pick us up at the Blue Gate around 0100 hours when we arrived from Marrakech by train. As requested, he also shifted us to a Terrace room from 2nd day onwards. First day we stayed on the ground floor. Lastly, he was very helpful in booking our Taxi from the hotel to the airport at 0630 hours.

We got given the room right next to reception and it was very noisy at all hours. Ask for a room upstairs.

The two shared bathrooms are small and could be cleaner. Also it would be nice to have towels. We forgot to ask how it was to come back late and nobody told us. Hopefully we were out with a guy sleeping at the same place who saw a guy who knew the owner and called him and he came right away to open the door. So, all good but a bit more communication would be great.

The rooftop is great, offering a nice view, and has a kitchen we can use! The breakfast is worth it, I particularly enjoy eggs in the morning :) The street is calm and well positionned. The room is big.
