This is the second time I visit this hotel in 6 months, staying in different rooms but with the same complaint, the shower and toilet! If only the owners would get these fixed or refurbished. The shower is more of a dribble and the toilet bearly flushes at all, this time I had to resort to using a bottle filled at the sink as the cistern takes far too long to fill up.

The location is superb, within easy walking distance to the falls. The hotel has that Moroccan feel to it. My room was a large size, had a comfortable bed and it had patio doors leading to the pool area, (currently not in use), with chairs and a table outside. The staff especially Hamid spoke excellent English and was very helpful and friendly. We had a nice meal in the evening which was very tasty. Breakfast the following morning was ok. The hotel also has a large outside seating area and off street parking.

There was very little water pressure in the shower.

Everything was right with Hotel France. The staff were very helpful and friendly, and the location was great. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and there was a beautiful patio outside. Overall a great hotel option in Ouzoud, especially for the price.

It was a bit chilly at night, not a huge problem though. The bathroom could do with some touch-ups.

It's fantastic value for money. The breakfast is excellent, and you won't find a better location if you want to see the waterfalls. The staff are super friendly and helpful. I was running very late, but they let me check in at night and were very accommodating. I had a huge room with four or so beds to myself, so I picked the very large double bed. Perhaps some people would have found the mattress too hard, but I was so tired from the trip I was very comfortable; it was also very quiet and nobody bothered me, there were no loud neighbours/parties etc. The facilities are basic, as is to be expected in this price range, but for a one- or two-night stay it's perfect if you want authenticity rather than luxury. The dog and cat who live there are also a plus!

It was nice and quiet. We were the only guests of the hotel due to low season. Food was great!!! The staff made us feel like home. In the evening we could enjoy the warmth of the fireplace.

Like writen by other reviewer some of the facilities are showing there age. But we didn't experience it as bothersome, especially because of the price of the accomodation.

This hotel has amazing staff. They are very helpfull and friendly. There evening meals are delicious. The location is about 5 minutes from the top of the falls.

Very nice location close to waterfalls, nice room size and beautiful terrace next to the very clean and big pool. Nice friendly people and a cute German Shepard :)

Window was not locking and the bathroom was not in great shape. You need to like hard mattresses to enjoy the sleeping.

Staff was very welcoming and the swimming pool was a valuable addition to the facilities. We had dinner there and the food was delicious, cheap and plenty. The place is a couple minutes away from the top of the waterfalls and its amazing views.

The hotel is very easy to reach, the staff is very kind and willing to help you with any request. The waterfalls are very close, 1 minute on foot and you can choose whether to take the panoramic route or the one with the stairways where you can find many shops both to eat and to buy souvenirs. The breakfast is very good. Inside the hotel there is a beautiful swimming pool, where you can relax if, like us, you come from many hours of travel!!! For the price it is really recommended! The location was near the falls, it was very short walk. We also had dinner and breakfast. The dinner was much better than I could have imagined. The breakfast was typical of a Moroc meal. The outside dining was beautiful. The staff was exceptional.

Beautiful, charming hotel with a swimming pool. I especially fell in love with backyard dog and cats. In the morning we were awakened by the crowing of a rooster. It was great. A cordial atmosphere and friendly service. You can really relax there. 😍

We were not impressed by this place. The reception was OK but definitely below Maroccoan standards (which are however very high): this time we didn't really feel like we were treated as honored guests, as we had in other places. The room was OK but overall the facilities felt a bit oldish.

The hotel is located really near the waterfalls, definitely walking distance, which is indeed very convenient, as well as the fact that it has its own inner parking. The garden outside was really nice, with orange trees around. Overall the room was OK and reasonably clean. For what you get, the price is definitely very reasonable. Unfortunately we didn't get to try the pool. On the plus side of the reception, I have to say that they were extremely honest. I had understood that the breakfast was not included in our deal, so I went to the reception to pay for it, but the host kindly refused, clarifying that it was indeed included in the deal. I mean, honesty should be a requirement, not a plus, but it's definitely appreciated.

We are always disappointed when the pools aren't open and we don't know that at the time of booking, however the weather ended up being poor anyway so no big deal. They are working hard on the pool so it should be up soon.

The more small towns we stay in in Morocco the more we LOVE the service of our small town stays. At Hotel France someone is always around to help! The breakfast was so good and one of the mornings we asked for 1 more crepe (we'd been given 4 huge ones but have 5 people) and the staff without mentioning anything to us hopped on a scooter and ran into the town square to grab us a fresh one! I felt so bad, we wouldn't have asked if we knew they didn't have more. But they were so kind!!! The tea is great and the location to explore the falls is fantastic. It's nice to not worry about parking in a place that can get aggressive about it. This is not a high end stay, we had 2 rooms and the 1 was a family room that has a double bed and 3 twins. It was great! The shower head wasn't full pressure but the hot hot water was enough to compensate. Now, the 2nd room had 2 beds and they were comfortable but there were a few bugs that made their way in under the door. We were able to get some spray to help ease the situation and even though this should go in the "don't like" section, the hospitality of the staff made it all ok and really for the price we can't complain. We have been traveling Morocco for weeks and it has been about 5 days since we had access to laundry and the hotel helped us send laundry out to some wonderdul ladies who had it all done in 1 day. Our kids played for hours with the German shepherd which was incredibly well trained (and doesn't come in the rooms) For the price we were super happy with our stay
