A very cute and interesting place right in the heart of the Medina. Quite difficult to find so you'll need the help of locals...at a small price. All the staff members were so friendly and helpful! Breakfasts were great and served with so much care and attention! I'll recommend the Hotel dar Terrae to anyone!

Stunning riad in the middle of the medina. The room was really quirky, clean and comfortable. Delicious breakfast served on the terraces.

Our room was very small but it was one of the last available when we booked due to Eid.

Location in the Medina was good once we found our way around. Good proximity to one of the gates. The owner was very friendly and helpful

The bathroom was external, which we knew when we booked, but we didnt quite like. It was cold when we where there, and I guess we didnt like having to get changed, and go up the stairs every time we needed the toilet. This is, however, a personal preference. For other people it might be ok. The bathroom was very small and smelled a bit of damp.

Jasmina was a lovely host and always ready to help and give suggestions. On the last day, she accommodated an earlier breakfast despite being Ramadan for them so that we could eat before our journey. We appreciated it very much. Best fresh juice we had all holiday. Lovely small balcony overlooking the inner courtyard. It is a very cosy Dar in the heart of the city. location could not be better

I loved everything about this hotel. The location 📍 in the heart of Medina. The design gives the flavour of being part of the neighbour. The staff Jasmin, Isam and Mohamed all went above and beyond the call of duty. Credit to the housekeeping I am who kept the place spotless and the lovely breakfast served on the terrace gives a homely atmosphere.

The bed is a bit short for tall people. The door and windows dont seem too reliable so there was a bit of a safety concern. It was a bit hard to find the hotel because its location on google maps is marked wrong.

The people working there were all very friendly and helpful. The interior of the hotel is beautiful. A nice breakfast consisting of bread, pain au chocolat, butter, honey, jam, cheese, orange juice, tea, coffee was served. They helped us carry our heavy luggage up the hill to the parking lot for a tip.

Bathroom needs attention. Shower head flies off when you put it on and toilet wobbles. Not enough toilet paper given. Electric socket in main bedroom hanging off wall and the one by the bed did not work BUT I loved this hotel and these are little faults :)

Breakfast was lovely and continental in style. On the terrace. Very well placed rihad and staff and owners were very friendly and helpful. Pretty central courtyard and hotel looks to be expanding. Room was large with window over the main thoroughfare which stayed noisy till one in morning on both nights. We liked this as it was cultural But some might not.

The room we were staying at had wet walls and ceiling. It looked like the water leaked in the room above us. This resulted in a really bad air inside a small room and plaster from the ceiling was falling on the bed.

Great location, friendly staff, nicely decorated hotel.

The only thing I can tell as a negative was a ladder to the upper bed. I was a little scared to use it, as it was not fixated neither to the bed nor to the floor ;( But that’s it!

It’s very atmospheric, the breakfast was big and tasty, the staff was wonderfully welcoming. Location is amazing, we enjoyed walking through the medina

No negatives - would highly recommend staying here!

Centrally located - 18 min walk from the bus station, can't speak highly enough of the hotel staff - always smiling and worthy of their positive shout out in the lonely planet book, comfortable bed, good shower, the hotel is very pretty and quaint, the room is carefully thought out, more cultured than a stay in a chain hotel, easy check in, nice breakfast, despite being centrally located the hotel is serene and quiet.

Beautiful traditional guesthouse with the most lovely and helpful people - Bilal gave us recommendations on where to eat , on day trips and on our last day when the taxi back to Tanger was delayed, he actually drove us himself ! Between then the staff spoke pretty well any language and were always happy to help . Great breakfast on the roof terrace , Wi-Fi best in the central lobby area and be sure to check out the little shop too . Thank you so much for our fantastic stay !!

It got a little humid in the room since the bathroom was part of it and the air couldn’t really circulate well, but that was just a minor issue - we loved our stay here!

Cute little hotel right in the middle of the medina. If you arrive by car, you can park it for 20 dirham per night at a parking lot just five minutes away. Really nice family who runs the hotel and friendly staff overall. The breakfast was also great!

My only criticism is the noise at night, because the rooms open out to the main stairwell so late night guests arriving will most certainly wake you up.

Our stay here was amazing - made especially special because of our lovely hosts. Jasmina and her family were truly incredible, we were looked after almost like family. If I ever make it back to Chefchaouen I am definitely staying here, and telling all my friends. The breakfast included fresh orange juice and delicious coffee, the rooms were adorable and the location was ideal - right in the middle of the quaint blue city.

Our rooms weren't cleaned daily, but we noticed that other rooms were. We only realized at the end of the stay that it might have been because we didn't leave our key with staff when we left! So that was our bad, just remember to give them your key if you want the rooms to be cleaned, but the rooms were already very clean when we arrived and the rest of the riad is spotless :)

Lovely little family run riad right in the Medina, so getting around was so easy. Staff are so friendly and helped us arrange for a taxi to get to Akchour, and then Fes. Breakfast on the terrace was lovely, and the room was comfortable. This is a bit more of a rustic accommodation but it was just what we were looking for.
