Lovely location on the edge of the sand dunes with a beautiful swimming pool. The property was lovely with beautiful features. We arrived very late however the manager kindly prepared a delicious meal for us despite the kitchen being closed.

Everything was amazing. The staff, the location looking out to the dunes, the pool, the room, the beds. We had the best time here. They helped us book a night in the desert and let us relax at the pool and the hotel after our check out time until we were picked up for our desert stay. Would definitely come back here!

Staff in particular Omar was brilliant, the location is 200m off the main road, at the rear your overlooking the dunes, it was an absolutely fantastic experience, I wish I could have stayed an extra night, I would highly recommend staying here

Very small issue. There wasn’t a lot of details provided for the direction to the hotel. We took a few wrong turns, but eventually found it after about 15 mins.

We booked 2 rooms for our family of 4 and were given a large suite with 5 beds. So it was very spacious. The first day the weather was pretty calm and the kiddos really enjoyed the pool. Most of the next day we had to stay inside due to the sand storm. We had to go outside to access the main area of the hotel and the parking lot. Not that fun in a sand storm :p. breakfast was pretty good.

The hotel is set in the desert and out the back, beyond the pool are the sand dunes. They are beautiful to see in real life and make for an excellent landscape. The hotel is very traditional inside, the rooms are spacious and beds are comfortable. We felt right at home.

Bathroom was so so clean, could be better. Also keep in mind there is no curtains in shower, so water goes all around.

Highlight of our stay in Morocco! This Kasbah is everything you need in the Sahara. From the gorgeous pool to the super friendly staff, from the beautiful rooms to the very tasty food we got for diner and breakfast, everything was perfect. We got a free room-upgrade upon arrival. Walking into the dessert, away from all the tourists, makes your whole experience even better. Especially if you do it after a quick dip in their (very cold!) pool!

The location is amazing, a bit off the road, direct access to the dunes. The staff were really welcoming and made our stay memorable. They even helped us searching for our last phone in the desert. We found it :). The food was excellent as well.

The host and staff were really nice providing us great tips for activities and being very flexible. The room we had at the back of the Kasbah was really nice, i think brand new. The location is perfect and the view on the dunes like on the pictures. The pool is big and perfect for swimmers like us.

The swimming pool is amazing, just in front of the dunes. The sunset was incredible, and you can just walk 3 minutes to reach the dunes an get lost in the desert.... the riad is very peaceful and beautiful inside, and food was really excellent. Hospitality was great, they organize everything attending your needs. I would definitively suggest if you come to the desert...

We have encountered this many times in morocco but the shower is not separated from the rest of the bathroom, which leads to the whole bathroom being wet after each shower.

The hotel is beautiful. From the pool we were able to walk right into the dunes. The manager (?) was really friendly, attentive, and helpul, without being intrusive. We had 3 dinners there and they were all really good and it was a different meal every time.

The air conditioner didn’t work well and it was so hot in the room

The location was amazing and the staff went out of their way to make our stay the best . We arrived late and they provided a beautiful meal and organised a camel trek ! Ibrahim was exceptional always offering to help even providing some traditional Berger treatment to my husband when he wasn’t well. ! Would recommend

The pool had greenish water - those who have a pool themselves know that chlorine tablets are missing.

Very friendly personnel, good breakfast (simple buffet), Moroccan style lunch and dinner can be ordered and was good. Fridge with cool drinks in the dining area. Prices ok. The rooms are simple but good and clean. The air condition did not manage to cooler the room down to the adjusted level, but it was a relief to have a “cool” room with 30°C when outside in the shade its 44 and in the sun above 53... May be better not too cool for not getting sick. Outside shade is needed – the palms are growing, but still need some time. Important - we have been there End of July knowing that it will be very hot!

Loved our stay at Kasbah du Berger! Lovely spacious air conditioned rooms, great food, swimming pool! Didn't need to leave the hotel for anything except for the treks to the sand dunes, which you can see from the property and are a couple of minutes away on foot. We reached out to the hotel to help us with transport from Ouarzazate to Merzouga and then from Merzouga and Fes, and they arranged a great driver for those two days at a very good price, who also stopped at cool spots for photos. We also booked a couple of camel treks, and they were fun and again, really well priced. The pool was cold, which was pretty amazing to have at 44C! Book your stay if you are still hesitating, you will be taken really good care of here!
