Location especially when arriving and departing. We had the suite on the top floor with private balcony which we can’t highly recommend enough. Fabulous view across Tangier with a glass of wine at night. Quiet. But most of all the attention to detail in interior design of the building was phenomenal. We stayed an extra night but had to change rooms. Again could not fault. Excellent wifi and the staff were always helpful happy and smiling.

It is a beautiful property in a great location. Owner and staff were great and very helpful. They made us feel comfortable and at home. Wonderful (optional) breakfast. I highly recommend. There is also a beautiful rooftop deck with amazing views of the entire city. Guests be aware that there are stairs to get from the road to the property. Pack light when visiting the medina.

Kasbah Rose is centrally located in the heart of the Kasbah in the old Madina. The location is ideal if you plan to spend the majority of your time in Tangier in the old town. Tangier is massive in size with various other neighborhoods to consider for more modern shopping and dining which you will need a taxi or the Uber equivalent that they use which is called InDrive. There is a lot to see and do that two days may not be enough. The City Tour Bus “hop on hop off” is very much worth the money and the starting point is approximately 10 minutes walking from Kasbah Rose… you must include time to see both the Atlantic Ocean and the Mediterranean Sea! Our room at the Kasbah Rose met our expectations and matched the photographs advertised on booking.com. There really isn’t much room for storage and Ruth the two nights we were there, that did the job. We added the breakfast to our stay afterwards and it was money well spent. The rooftop view of the city for breakfast or any time of day was beautiful. We had the same view from our room which was equally beautiful! Mohamed and his team along with Bader took great care of us from handling our luggage to providing all the necessary information to help make our stay comfortable… referring us to their neighbour laundry for washing/fold, ironing, and dry cleaning. Along with their local friends that managed ticket purchases for busses and trains around Morocco… ask Mohamed anything and he will tell you what to buy, where, and how much you should be paying as he knows many people in the Kasbah who will take care of you! Surprisingly the property is Dutch owned. The staff are all Moroccan... Not that it made a difference, but if supporting a local business that us 100% Moroccan owned and operated, thus maybe important for you. We would consider this property again as it met our needs for service and location!

This is a wonderfully decorated, cozy inn. The staff is very friendly and eager to meet all your needs. The beds are very comfortable with good quality linens. Nice breakfast served on roof top terrace.

You shall know that there are a lot of stairs inside this property and also to get there. Can be difficult for elder people.

There were stairs to be climbed to our room, but that would only be an issue for the elderly or handicapped.

The road was a five minute walk from where we were dropped off, and well positioned in the centre of the bustling Medina. Breakfast wasn’t included in our booking, but we paid 6Euro each for a very filling and satisfactory buffet, served in the ground floor area. The host met us at our car when we arrived, as our driver had phoned the riad just before we arrived. I’d happily stay here again, if I returned.

The mattress a little too firm for my liking.

Staff were exceptional and go above and beyond to accomodate or assist with anything you need including getting my laundry taken care of. Location is fantastic in the Kasbah. Room had good heating system. Although bathrooms quite small, they are clean, water gets hot and pressure good.

Mohammed was accommodating, friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. He went above and beyond to make our stay excellent and really make us feel at home. The location is great for getting to experience the city and the hotel is quaint, well kept, and beautiful. The views and the breakfast were also fantastic.

Access into the Kasbah with a big heavy suitcase is a bit challenging

Very cute little guesthouse in the Kasbah with friendly hosts… thank you! Only stayed for a night and wish I could have stayed longer. My room was smaller than expected but charming and lovely view. Can only recommend!

A small thing but considering the beautiful aesthetics everywhere else, it would be nice to have more products in the bathroom such as lotion, instead of 1 small disposable sachet of combined shower gel / shampoo per person.

5.5 ⭐ service and above from Mohammad! A truly wonderful, welcoming experience thanks to him. Add to that a beautifully decorated room, comfortable bed, filtered water, gorgeous suntrap balcony and roof terrace, and we had a perfect stay.

Wonderful homey stay with Mohammad and Adil! From breakfast to my evening tea everything was absolutely perfect. Met lovely guests too which is always a bonus during my travels… Top location, banters, kindness and hospitality make Kasbah Rose a delightful experience 😊
