    - bathroom window opens inside the room but it’s fine - not the best wifi if you stay in one of the rooms last floor

+ location and view + breakfast is great (especially if you have it on the terrace upstairs) + staff very friendly + flexibly (check in early on the first day and breakfast earlier than their usual on the last day due to our flight )

The photos available for this property were quite limited and didn't show for example that the bathroom is not fully separated from the bedroom, and there are open windows that you can see between! Also, compared to some of the other places we stayed on our trip, this riad lacked a bit in character.

The riad was very clean and comfortable and we had a nice stay. It has a roof terrace, but because of the strong winds there wasn't really a good time to make use of it!

If you don't speak Arabic or French, you will struggle as the staff's English is very limited. Payment in cash is a pain when atm max withdrawals are 2000mad. certain noise does carry through the hostel and I could hear cleaning taking place from like 8:30am on my last morning, though earplugs did the trick.

wonderfully comfortable little BnB style hotel! I loved my stay here, especially having come from a truly heinous hostel. The staff are friendly and the wifi worked well. the room was so cute and looked exactly like the photos, which is rare for Morocco, it would seem. You can hear the ocean clearly though your open windows, which is nice. I would totally stay here again!

    - Seagulls can be insanely loud, especially in the morning. Obviously this has nothing to do with the hotel, just the location - Not having a physical door between bathroom and the bedroom is slightly uncomfortable

    - Excellent location (right next to the sea, in the center of old town but not on a busy street) - Friendly and helpful staff - Comfortable and spacious room

The room was very cold and humid even though the booking site stated the rooms were heated. The beds and pillows were rock solid. The room is also really noisy when you’re trying to sleep. They only serve bread for breakfast.

The view from the rooftop is amazing. A nice cozy area. The freshly squeezed orange juice was a nice touch to breakfast. The staff were really kind. The place was clean.

The windows have a view to the main courtyard so guests pass by all the time and the noises from outside are very well heard. The access to the roof is amazing though. The common area where breakfast is served is cozy but a bit dark.

A very nicely organised riad with a southern white washed wall atmosphere. The room was very clean and spacious. It felt at home.

The rooms were very cold and humid, keep in mind we visited in January. A heater in the room would've been nice. The bed and pillows were a bit too hard. Also the bed was small for a couple, my boyfriend and I had too little space. For one person it would've been ok. But overall it was ok for the price we paid.

Cozy common area and superb view of the ocean from the rooftop. The staff were warm and helpful, location was good and breakfast was simple but yummy. Fresh orange juice and freshly made moroccan pancakes with jams, butter and honey. Tea or coffee. The rooms were spacious, the shower was hot and had a good pressure. Everything was very clean.

Breakfast was bread, jams, honey, orange juice and tea/coffee. Expected more variation, e.g. eggs, cheese, olives, fruit as we had in other places.

Staff were fantastic and really nice designed place.

    Nothing!

We loved everything about this place! The decor is gorgeous and tasteful and our room felt like our own little oasis. The beds are large and very comfy. Shower pressure was amazing too. We love the rooftop terrace and airy layout - it's a unique place :)

We visited Casa del Mar part-way through a bikepacking trip from Agadir to Marrakesh and back via this coastal city. The staff were more than happy for us to store the bikes upstairs in our room, which was excellent. The room itself was large enough & had two good sized beds, given it’s description as a ‘triple’. It had a small mezzanine level with a 4ft mattress on, which was perfectly comfortable. The bathroom was clean and functional, with a powerful, hot shower. Breakfast was good, with fresh juice, mint tea and a range of traditional baked items. The location is great if you want to explore the hustle and bustle of the city’s narrow streets, maybe not so great if you are after something a little quieter or have a rental vehicle. Inside does a good job of blocking out the noise from outside, but sound travels within the property’s numerous floors quite easily & we were woken up in the night by music a couple of times. The terrace area on top is also a nice addition. However, it’s a shame that the lights don’t appear to work, so you can’t sit up there in the evenings after dark as we’d hoped to.

The staff doesn't speak any English. From my experience it's often the case in Essauira. Breakfast is not good. Only sweet things. Basically bread with jam and butter.

Great interior, all natural materials, all nice and white with pops of color, easy on the eye. Great location, with some view towards the ocean from the terrace Really pleasant place to spend a couple of nights, great value for the price.

It is not the owner’s fault, but the room is a little damp due to the closeness of sea. But it is worth it.

The location was perfect, the sea view was magical. Staff ladies were super nice, we felt like at home. The room was clean and it was one of our best stays in Marocco. Thank you!
