Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United KingdomI stayed at this amazing place with my family. It was one of the best stays ever! The suites are stunning, the private beach is just marvelous, and the pool is fantastic. However, what exceeded all expectations were the amazing and lovely staff! Special thanks to Mr. Abdoulaye from the booking department, Mr. Younes and Mrs. Aicha from the reception, Mr. Soufiane and Mr. Abdelatif from the restaurant, and the lovely maid, whose name we unfortunately didn't get. Keep up the good work. We will definitely be coming back soon! And please continue taking care of those beautiful cats! Reda & Kerrie.

MoroccoI had the most amazing vacation with my family in Lacrique. The staff were amazing: Aicha at the reception was extremely helpful, Hind and Rajae in the Spa were wonderful to me and to my mother (excellent Hamam, massage and facial), Ali in the restaurant was very attentive to our needs, Hanane in the boutique had an amazing smile, Saadia took really good care of cleaning our room and was very helpful. I have never met so many friendly and helpful staff in ONE hotel until I got to Lacrique. Thank you for making our stay a wonderful experience , I m definitely coming back !

GermanyThe hotel is a fantastic place to relax and enjoy Dakhla! The buildings, the two pools and the garden are beautifully designed, the ocean view is amazing, the staff is very friendly. The breakfast and dinner menus offer everything you need (and more) by combining international classics and local cuisine - all very delicious! The SPA is lovely and very good! The hotel arranged for us to rent a car which made traveling around the city and to the different kitesurfing-spots very easy. We felt very safe everywhere and very much enjoyed our stay - will definitely come back!

United KingdomI picked La Crique because it had ‘Nature’ in its name. The gardens were beautiful, no doubt, but they could certainly do more to reduce environmental impact by reducing the amount of plastic & energy consumed needlessly. Please label breakfast items more diligently...
La Crique Nature & Spa is an extremely well run hotel. Enormous room (big enough to fit at least 4 comfortably), beautifully manicured gardens, stunning pools, and one of the best restaurant experiences I’ve had! The staff was on top of everything and I’m ever so grateful for their efforts to accommodate my dietary needs. Also appreciate the welcome plates of fresh and dried fruits and nuts. The seamless WiFi was a revelation!

United Arab EmiratesThe food can deffinetely be improved (half board options very limited).
The hotel is beautiful, if you’re looking for a quite and relaxing vacation this should be your destination. The stars of our stay were Hanane and Noureddine, who were so nice and helped us a lot throughout our stay.

MoroccoPretty much everything; the facility is great and clean, the staff is welcoming and friendly, there is a direct access to water and a stunning view all over. And finally, hats off to the chef for the creative and mouth-watering dinners throughout our stay there. Would definitely come back again !
Some prices are too high, like water, which is a necessity and is not provided by the facility daily. Considering that the facility is far from pretty much everything, the prices of basic needs shouldn't be that high, if not provided in the first place imo.

SwitzerlandThey say that there is a shuttle 2 times a day to go on kite spots but it’s not true. There is nothing. Food is okay but not outstanding. Not at all like advertised on their photos / website Breakfast could definitely be improved. The name does not reflect the location. There are a few trees but with fences all around the property. Had a massage meant to be 1 hour but it lasted 45 min max.

United KingdomISince we arrived, we kept being scammed, like paying 10 euros for an orange juice kind of practice... We stayed 4 nights for our honeymoon. Half board is a joke, either you eat exactly the same meal for 4 days or you need to pay full price for a different menu. Food is canteen quality presented in a fancy way with an arrogant chef explaining that the issue is my taste and not his food. The room is very cold and there is no heater. The bathroom is rusty, as in actual rust on amenities. We wanted to watch the sunset one day and asked the hotel to arrange a cab, they forgot and the cab came after sunset, they still make us pay for it 10 times the actual cab price in Dakhla. Also location wise, it's far from the interesting spot. The only thing it's close to is the airport, so expect lots of noise when planes take off or land. Dakhla is an amazing place and you have many good quality hotels where you don't get robbed.

MoroccoI was in fact disappointed by many aspects of the hotel: - Pick up was done by the hotel shuttle car: the driver was very late compared to all the other hotels whom their drivers were at the exit gate of the airport. In addition, the car was quite old and not comfortable to ride. - Rooms were not wind proof, you can feel the wind and cold coming from the roof, also, when people are singing at night at the restaurant you can hear them. - Breakfast was descent but very limited in terms of choices. - Bottles of water are served just the first day of stay and you need to buy them for the rest of the stay (They are expensive), also, tab water is not drinkable. - Rooms furniture is outdated, and beds are extremely uncomfortable, the mattress is put on the floor without bed-spring. Both my wife & I had a back pain every single morning. - Towels seems to have never been changed, and when they did the cleaning of our room, they have put dirty towels with yellow marks on them which was disgusting. - Dinner was a la carte, with 2 or 3 different choices every night. I had a very unpleasant experience one night when I have chosen fish soup for the starter and Fish for the main dish, the waitress was trying to convince me to take chicken instead and was pushing hard. When I made it clear that I don't want chicken curry, she then said that we have one big fish that they prepared for a group of people (organized trip)! I was really surprised to hear that! then the restaurant manager came and asked me if i can change my request as fish will take time. There was no way to change since it is not acceptable especially that Dakhla is known for fish. They decided finally to serve us fish but with a delay. - For the excursions, I met the Hotel director said that he will make sure to have a luxury car booked for us. unlike the pickup. when time came we found an old Toyota prado that had more than 300K on the counter :-D - Pool is not heated as advertised !!!
I liked the Bamboo design of the rooms, it gives you the feeling that you are in Bali. Each room is lie a stand alone "Bungalow"with a small private garden and a sea view. Area is quite and far from city noise. The coach by the pool was nice and created a good atmosphere with some fun water games :)

MoroccoThe place is overpriced. the rooms are not so clean sheets seem old and they haven't changed them or the towels in our 3 nights stay. There is no beach nearby to go for a walk so you are stuck in the hotel.
Food is good and the servers in the restaurant are nice and friendly
