How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Very clean, comfy bed. It’s maybe 20 minutes from the beach but in a nice area with plenty of good cafes and street life. Great friendly staff and Ahmed looked after me well

Was woken at 6 am everday with what sounded like a man about to be slaughtered. I thought I was having a nightmare, and was told it was the sound of the mosque next to the Hotel.
The hotel was clean, the rooms were cleaned everyday, staff were pleasant and helpful.

Staff was super friendly and accommodating. The room was spacious with a little balcony overlooking a quiet square with a mosque. Very comfortable bed and big bathroom.

2nd time here. Same service as previous visit. Very helpful and nice staff at the reception, would always smile and greet. Got room with amazing view to the mosque. Daily cleaning. Would stay again. Highly recommend.

That is a very good hotel in a safe a district. Rooms are cleaned every day, things like furniture or beds are new and comfortable. The staff is very friendly, It was really OK

The hotel was undergoing some building work when we were there. This didn't affect our stay. The hotel didn't offer breakfast but there are plenty of cafes nearby. Note that it is a long walk to the .
A modern hotel with nice clean rooms. Friendly staff and excellent value for money. Choice of cafes and restaurants nearby. Rooftop terrace overlooking the town towards the beach area. Our room had a small balcony.

There's no lift, the toilet paper is quite thin and location wise it was quite loud (outside) at night time until around midnight sometimes (you could still here even with the window closed).
Staff were very nice and cleaning staff were present every day if I needed anything cleaning or changing. The place is close to a supermarket (5-10mins walk) and places to eat or get a coffee are so close by. I didn't experience any noise inside the hotel. The bed was very comfortable and the pillows were very comfortable too. And the bathroom was more than big enough for one person.

Very cozy hotel, well located. Did book last minute before the midnight, after landing at the airport. Instantly responded that they wait for me and that the reception working 24/7. Nice staff at the reception, gave options to choose different rooms, had a balcony. Room clean, though bit worn out, but it's really clean. Maids would clean room on daily basis, so it's extremely clean. I did extend my stay afterwards, because it's very decent price and didn't want to move elsewhere. 20 minutes walk to the beach, same time to the airport bus. Nearby nice grocery store. Would recommend and might return again!

Agadir is a noisy city in general, and this is quite a lively area. So, there was a bit more noise than I'd have preferred. Fortunately, I always pack ear plugs just-in-case; this time, I needed them. The Hotel Lynx doesn't offer food, so you'll need to use one of the many local restaurants which are of varying quality - the Majestic is good but very busy.
Excellent service and staff, felt amazingly welcome. Room was clean and well-sized, everything worked well including the WiFi and air conditioning. Comfortable bed. General feeling was of an establishment being operated at a high standard - very good value for money, I'd be happy to stay here again.

it's a bit far from the beach and they do not serve breakfast. i think that's all one can complain about.
the hotel is comfy and clean and i had a room with balcony. the receptionist rashid is super friendly. i could leave my luggage after check-out. the prize is average for morocco in general but good for agadir, i think.
