Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

CanadaWe spent one night at this camp. We left our car at the designated place and were picked up by 4x4 by one of the staff members who turned out to be a joker. We were driven to the camp. The short ride there itself was an adventure. The camp is located between two sand dunes, which made it perfect for stargazing at night (very light light pollution). I was very positively surprised by our tent. It was large, very clean and had a washroom with shower and hot water as well as USB sockets. Outlets with regular voltage were available in the restaurant tent. Dinner was served in the evening and it was great! It consisted of a soup, two kinds of tajine and dessert. At night there was a bonfire and our hosts were entertaining us with live Berber music. Surprisingly the night was warm in the desert. Breakfast was buffet style and was also very good. If you are in Morocco I’d definitely recommend staying at least one night there for an unforgettable experience!

RomaniaThe camping is located somewhere about 5 min by car from the meeting point, right where the big dunes start. The staff is very polite, helpful and nice. The rooms are clean and have private bathroom with warn water. We had the best chicken tajine at dinner. Also we had soup, moussaka and dessert, all included in the price. The breakfast was ok and also included in the price. You can choose quad or dromedary ride (45/20 euro/person) for sunset and/or sunrise, but you can also walk. They are very flexibile with the time and you can feel free to spend your time as you please. At night the guys sing songs by the fire, below the shining stars, that's also really nice. All in all, for us was an amazing experience and we are grateful for how the guys handled everything for us.

Hong KongThere is no internet connection as expected.
We arrived at the pickup point (Kasbah Le Berger), where we parked our rental car for a night for free. The owner drove his 4x4 to take us and 4 luggages to the camp. At 7 pm, we rode the camels (20€ each) for 20 minutes to sand dunes for sunset viewing. After sunset at about 8 pm(30 April), another 20 minutes ride back. The camel ride was an interesting experience. The room was clean and hot shower. Staff was helpful as prompt response to my queries.

I did a lot of research and chose Magic Luxury Camp based on the reviews and was glad I did. It is a small camp and its location is behind sand dunes so you do not see the other camps unless you climb up on the dunes. There were no large tour groups when we are there and just individual families. The staff was amazing particularly the camp manager. Dinner was enjoyable. The showers actually provided remarkably hot water. They also provided bottled water. Some logistical things that I was looking for answers to before arriving. They will pick you up by jeep which you can contact them for timing. You can arrange for camel rides (20E) and ATV tour (45E) once you are there. We did both and thought they worthwhile and provided different experiences. You will pay upon leaving the camp with the driver once you reach the parking lot. They have a snowboard you can use for free to try sandboarding right by the camp. Overall quite a magical experience and would not hesitate to recommend this camp.

NetherlandsNothing, we really enjoyed our stay here, it was the highlight of our trip to Morocco.
The dunes are fantastic, it's very quiet at night. The hosts will do anything to make your stay pleasant. We were the only guests, but the breakfast was enough to feed an army...

United StatesReally cool experience! We've stayed in the desert before but it was nothing like this! The tents were really spacious and had lights, a USB charging point and shower/toilet. There was a main tent with more charging points too. The dinner was excellent - really delicious food! Great value for money and great communication throughout, especially with parking our car (parked at a different hotel and then we were picked up to go into the desert). There was also a drumming ceremony and firepit to round off the night. If possible, I'd suggest coming before sunset as it was really beautiful to watch from the dunes. We did a Quad Bike experience which was great but worth noting that it's cash only and he didn't want to take payment at the camp, he only allowed us to pay when he dropped us to our car which we found a bit strange.

United KingdomShower didn’t run hot , although we only needed to rise feet and did not ask for this to be fixed - sure it would have been if we asked. Pick up location was a little confusing - turn didn’t look like a road but it was and all was fine once we figured this out.
Great stay! Friendly hosts. Food was tasty. We had the camp to ourselves which as a family was nice however if wanting a party vibe this isn’t the place. Sand dunes on the door step (free). Easy to organise activities camels €20 per camel & €45 per quad (ie 1 adult and 1 child). Lovely sun set and sun rise views. Lovely evening camp fire and music. Nice tent space , basic but what you would expect for glamping. Even provided hot water bottles for beds on the cooler night.
