Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

BelgiumWe had amazing stay
Amazing camp, only in a dream or movie. The tent was Hugo, so the king-size bed. The bathroom had separate areas for toilet, shower, and sink. The hot water shower was large enough for two people and had lots of pressure. Mind you, this is the middle of the merzouga desert. The food was exceptional, and both dinner and breakfast were delicious and generous, the best we had in our trip in Morocco. The service was also excellent. Mohamed and hus crew were do attentive that anticipated our wishes. No other 5-star camp can serve you better. A night campfire with traditional music and dancing Loved it, we recommend you to book at magic luxury camp..

LithuaniaEverything was perfect
Highly recommend. Amazing paradise place in the Merzouga desert. You have to drive to the parking and from the parking they come to pick up you by car 4x4 for free and then you (drive to the camping place around 5minutes) or if you want you can go with camel (20eur) and it takes 1 hour to the camping place. Amazing sunset, sunrise, stargazing experience. The dinner was just awesome, hot soup, traditional tagine, zuchine, bread. Service was amazing too, very helpful and friendly, smilling. The breakfast was great, , eggs, coffe, juice, traditional pancakes with the different jam varieties. The bed was very comfortable, the night was pretty cold but we had a warm blanket so was totally fine. They have a fire place in the camping, and 2 snowboards you can use them in the sands.

United KingdomCommunication with the hosts was great and they speak a number of different languages; English, French, German which was a welcome surprise. The host was very friendly and welcoming; we spent a little more time with Driss than the rest of the staff and he was very nice, very friendly, very knowledgeable about the area, made us a memorable trip to the top of the dunes, watched the sunset, and kept us entertained the whole time. Incredibly indulgent with everything. When you first arrive in Merzouga, you will be escorted to a secure car park to park your car in a walled house with a locked gate so you can leave your car there safely . After crossing the desert in an excellent SUV, you arrive at a luxury camp that has been preserved; the tents are in perfect condition, with plush carpets on the floors, large comfortable beds, bathrooms and showers with running water, and wifi! Evening meals were excellent with a variety of food to suit all tastes - we were served in front of the tent - candle light dinner for two. The after dinner program included some berber music and dancing around the fire - all in all a memorable experience with lots of great photo opportunities! We recommend Magic Luxury Camp to anyone who wants to have a great desert experience!

FranceThe nights in the desert are cold and there is no heating in the tents. Gladly there were many heavy blankets we could use.
The personnel was very nice and welcoming. The food, especially the one offered for dinner was aboundant and delicious. The berber live music around the fire was fun and entertaining. We also had the chance to try the instruments and play games with the personnel. Sliding down the dunes with the snowboard was also fun. Much appreciated the kindness, patience and friendship of Hami, as he made our trip special in many ways but also with the ride in the dunes with the 4x4!

One of the luxury camps in the desert. The facilities were great given that its a desert. The room(glamping style) was great. Although there was water issue in the toilet, it was quickly resolved once the staff was notified about it. Electricity was not a issue at all. In November , it gets a bit cold in the night. In The room entire night. There were enough comforters and blankets . The staff were very friendly. The camel ride for to see the sunset was great. The breakfast was good, but the dinner was great. We stayed for 2 nights and the dinner was was great. was a berber music after dinner time. Highly recommended

FranceIt was the best experience! Omar, Muhammad, Idrees are great people. They made sure me and my wife are comfortable at all times. The music nights, bon fire, food, people, Berber culture, sand dunes were just breath-taking. We wish to go back again. Omar and Muhammad were our private tour guide and Idrees was the camel trekking charge guy and music nights, Muhammad is the owner and is very fast responsive to our messages. A 5 star!!! I loved the most was music with bon fire under the stars, followed by camel rides.

ItalyThe camp propose activities to enjoy the desert at his best, and even though we enjoyed the most of it, we felt like 40€ each for the 3 hours tour was maybe too much for what we actually did. So just as a suggestion, the tour could include more interesting activities.
We had a very good experience in the desert here at this camp in the middle of the dunes. We enjoyed the room, simple but comfortable, but most of all the guys at the camp that made our stay very fun. We loved the fireplace after dinner and listening to the traditional music. We also really enjoyed our dromedary ride at sunset, a wonderful experience!

CanadaWe were expecting to be picked up at 5pm by the camels for the sunset journey into the camp area. Instead we were picked up a half hour late in a truck so we missed that ride thru the dunes. Instead they offered a sunrise trip to us which was much shorter and having to get up an hour earlier than expected Didn’t feel that it was worth the $20 euros for such a short ride. Kinda disappointed on that but everything else was lovely.
A night in the desert under the stars, comfy beds and tents with wifi that reached if you are close to the dining area!
