The rooms were small and so we needed two rooms for 2 adults and 2 children. The hotel made sure that we were in connected adjoining rooms. The pool was out of service. It was build close to the sea side and there were not a lot of fast food places within walking distance. However there was a large public playground within walking distance which was great for the girls.

We went at the beginning of Ramadan but the hotel accommodated our family needs. Everyone was so nice to us and helped us arrange to see the sights.

Breakfast was very complete, they allow me to choose a room with nice views. Price in Ramadan is better. Very honest staff.

The choice of drinks at the bar was rather limited.

I enjoyed my stay at Mandarin Palace - the staff was very friendly and the rooms clean, All amenities as described. The view from the bar/breakfast room over the city/bay is fantastic. This hotel is located on the furthest end of the city, an excellent location for those who require a more quiet stay. You can get to the old city center by foot over the boardwalk, it will take approximately one hour.

This hotel have big problem with soundproof quality of windows. On one side you have noise of traffic and on the other side noice of Night club. It is not really worth 5 stars, no matter how hard the kind personal there try to solve this fact. They seemed to me like hard working sailors on sinking ship. But, on the other hand, also other 5-stars in Tangier are not some diamonds (for much bigger money).

The room was very comfortable, with very good bath and badroom part. Everything clean. All the members of the stuff (6 of them) we met in three days there were extremly kind and helpful. Breakfast also off high standard in a restaurant with beautiful view.

There could've been a little more attention to details in the cleanliness of the room. The hotel overall needs a little updating.

The location was great. The staff was wonderful. The room was very nice. The views from the 4th floor dining room were absolutely fantastic. The breakfast they served was beyond our expectations. All the selections, of which there were very many, were very fresh. Would definitely stay there again and would definitely recommend it.

When we first arrived the first room we received was damped and smelled of smoking. They quickly changes us to the best room in the hotel as they say. We appreciated that. The breakfast was very basic, could have been more options and perhaps more international as well. The rooms were clean but only to the surface, deep cleaning is needed. The beds were very dusty as well as the couch. More lights needed in the room, one thing that really was annoying is the censored light in the bathroom it got dark every 10 sec and you have to move around to make the light work please change that. (side note that is out of their control but good to be aware of stray dogs and cats in every corner you walk if you are note a fan of animals could be a tough trip). Last but not least because they are building in the area and the hotel is right by the road it was very loud and hard to sleep at times.

We had the presidential suite (ask for room 301). The views were breath-taking seeing the sunset and coastline from your bed was epic. The room was very spacious, bathroom was stunningly designed. The staff members and hospitality made the trip even better. Location wise it was very close to the beach, marina and big sites few minutes drive with taxi. A special thank you to Omar, Mahdi, Ilyas, Fatima and Firdous. They genially went above and beyond to welcome us and help us any kind of way. The rooftop terrasse was such a nice place to spend the evenings, the room service food was also delicious.

This shower was very small between the glass screen and washbasin. We couldn't move almost.

Toilets & Shower Room , specially Muslim Shower near toilet seat , it is hard to control after when you want to wash your self. Air-conditioning control wasn’t very good. Every room should be able to adjust accordingly to their desire.
