Abdul and his brother were so kind and helpful to us the whole weekend! We got upgraded when we arrived and our hotel room was beautiful, spacious and clean. They let us enter the room when it was clean before the official check in time also! The roof is gorgeous with tables and chairs and a stunning view of the Medina and Port. Highly highly recommend this hotel!!

There was a small kitchen attached which had some basics but no kettle!

Location was fine; room OK for one but probably crowded for two; people were enthusiastically friendly; room overlooked Grand Socco so was fine but noisy at night. Room was value for money. Small roof terrace was pleasant but windy and shared with towels drying!

The bathroom would benefit from a refurb and a really deep clean

Great location in the Grand souk. Terrace with lovely views of the port and Spain beyond. Room was a good size with a seating area. Abdou was a perfect host and sent us what’s app’s with top tips for restaurants and sights.

The hotel is located in the Medina, close to Gran Socco and Petit Socco, which are two main points for visitors. Everything historical was reachable walking. The area is also very safe and well connected with the rest of the city. The owner was available for any query (in person and WhatsApp) and suggestion.

Hotel Marrakesh it’s a nice little gem. Great location, just off the main market streets, the rooms are beautiful and airy. They all have different styles and decorations. Samad is an incredible host, always happy to help and very friendly. Highly recommend!

Everything was fantastic, the location in the medina was great, lots of places to see, excellent street food. Abdou the manager could not have been nicer, as a solo traveller he made me feel more than welcome, recommended lots of things to see, places to visit, restaurants cafes etc, even went as far as sending me everything on Watsapp.

The stairs - but I don’t think they were putting lifts in Riads in 1885

Hard, but not impossible to find in the dark (tip - if you are walking from the station walk the whole length of the promenade and cut up in to the Medina at Hotel Continental). Lovely reception and lots of tips and advice on the area including an excellent option for supper. Room was bonkers. We were on the roof so it’s a bit noisy not only from the ‘call to eater’ (but you gotta expect that!) but also those guests who come up for the view but perhaps don’t realise there’s also too rooms up there. However not really an issue.

Very well located inside the Medina of Tangeri, taxis stop just 3 minutes walking from it. The owners of the place were very helpful and kind and gave us many infos (where to go, where to eat and so on). We were there during New year's eve and we could come back at night withouth problems, even though they close the main door of the hotel at midnight. Once we left, they also took us to take taxi on the way back and dealt with the taxi driver for a honest price. Our room was more like a small flat: sleeping room + living room with also fridge, kitchen, big balcony and sofa. Private bathroom as well. If you're on budget and you know how to travel for many days, it's a nice place where to stay.

Maybe they need to re-check the description of their property on the Booking.com website so the guests know beforehand what amenities to expect in their rooms.

Very close to the center, in the old medina, and great price! The room I got first was far from the description on Booking.com website ( sea view and kitchenette, etc ), but they gradually upgraded me, first giving me a kettle, kitchen wares, a heater, then changing my room twice finally pretty much matching the type of room I booked. Despite all this, it was obvious the people who manage this property are very kind with great hospitality. A little confusion at the beginning was just another interesting travel experience.
