Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

DenmarkThe food was excellent. youssf and brahim were great hosts and went above and beyond to accommodate our every need. The night air was cool, but the tent was comfortable and there were extra warm blankets for the nights. We loved the location and enjoyed a camel ride in the dunes. The food was excellent. The drum circle around the fire was fun. Great sunrises and sunsets!

DjiboutiThis location is amazing! The building that is provided in the midst of the desert is amazing! Clean bathrooms and rooms, with a really comfortable bed! The staff, however, is the icing on the cake—they are really amiable and supportive! Breakfast and supper both had delicious food.

IrelandThis camp is located in the midst of the desert in an incredibly serene area, at the base of a massive orange sand dune. There is no better location than here to really immerse oneself in the Sahara. We learned that the "tents"—which are too opulent to be considered tents—had undergone a recent renovation and were breathtaking. Excellent shower, cozy sitting area, and cozy bed. When we arrived in the midday heat, the air conditioning was a welcome surprise. We hiked on the sand dunes outside the camp, rode camels till dusk, and had a bottle of wine while lounging under the hospitality tent. With all of the white lights, the camp looked lovely at night. and lamps everywhere. Both the meal and the staff's service were outstanding. We are glad that we decided to spend our time in the desert at this camp. Wonderful and memorable stay. Strongly advised.

ArgentinaMagnificent place in the middle of the desert. The attention was spectacular from all the staff. Cozy, clean, where they take care of all the details. We arrived at the camp by camel, we were able to see the sunset and enjoy a starry night in an area of tables and chairs at the top of the dunes. The incredible sunrise, getting lost in the dunes fantastic. They even have boards for sandboarding. Its location is exceptional. The breakfast and dinner were delicious...we also enjoyed a small nighttime concert by the fire. A place to repeat.

SpainI stayed at the Camp for one night with my girlfriend. During our vacation in the Sahara sand dunes, everything was fantastic! The staff makes arrangements for the pickup and drop off and is extremely helpful. The dish was cooked to perfection. The dawn sunlight was pleasant, and the evening bonfire, music, and dancing were joyous. Three languages were spoken by the staff: Arabic, French, and English. With power and hot water, the tent was cozy. It is also green energy since the tent has solar panels. At night, we enjoyed seeing the stars. We would be thrilled to return very soon.

South AfricaWe have just returned from an amazing night spent in a stunning camp in the orange dunes of Erg Chebbi, under the Milky Way. That was a night we will always remember. The desert's quiet, the stunning landscapes, the camel ride, and the extraordinary hospitality of the Berber people. We felt like family since the hosts were the kindest, most genuine individuals we've ever encountered. Very interesting, enjoyable, and talented musicians! Strongly recommended!

MaltaAlthough I've enjoyed glamping in the past, this was a whole new experience. We were in awe of our tent's grandeur and the way the personnel handled us like kings. The cuisine was amazing and the facilities were excellent. We were made to feel like members of the family by the genuine entertainment gathered around the campfire. We had a lovely night drinking champagne outside beneath the sky. You haven't lived if you haven't been to this gorgeous location. I just wish I had stayed longer. To really enjoy the experience, I would advise staying for a few days at the very least.

IrelandWhat a wonderful way to see the Sahara Desert! The camp site and our tent were quite beautiful. How about spoilt for punishment? In the desert, there's internet and running water... The personnel was outstanding; they were really kind and fascinating. The location is ideal, and I can't see needing more. There was a lot of good food available. The only little complaint is that we sometimes felt a bit hurried at mealtimes, but this didn't ruin the experience (maybe because we were running behind schedule since the other couple in our camp came later than expected). We felt like we had the whole camp to ourselves since the other couple we shared it with came late and departed early. It was a really pleasant experience to be away from the commotion.

RussiaThere were no negative moments, everything was amazing!
We traveled with a family of 4 and had an unforgettable time in this camp, it was an amazing experience. The sunset ride to camp on the dromoders was amazing. At the camp they prepared a very tasty dinner for us, and after dinner we listened to live Berber music and danced under the starry sky. And at night we went into the dunes to admire the stars - for the first time in my life I saw the Milky Way with the naked eye! The staff was very welcoming, friendly and very attentive. The tents had all the amenities - hot water, toilet, towels and toiletries; a compliment from the organizers - fruit - was waiting for us on the table in the tent. The beds were very clean and comfortable and we had a great sleep. In the morning we watched the sunrise in the dunes, and then had a delicious breakfast of eggs in a tagine, vegetables, flatbreads, olives, fruit, cheese, biscuits, coffee and mint tea. Many thanks to all the organizers and staff of the camp for the friendly hospitality, the opportunity to join the Berber culture and experience the incredible sensation of being in the incredible and endless Sahara Desert! Our family wishes you prosperity!
