Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United KingdomThe water went everywhere in the bathroom, which was okay for a few days but would need a shower curtain and bath mat or other solution for a longer stay.
The room was a really nice size with a desk and chair. The choice of communal areas to relax/work in was good, as was breakfast. Was able to get laundry done 35 MAD/kilo which was helpful and having the cafe downstairs was great for snacks etc.

United KingdomThere isn’t a shower curtain in the en-suite so water collects on the floor. I put an extra towel on the floor though to try to reduce the problem because the room can smell damp otherwise. There are no windows to the outside in the bedroom only ones that open on to the central area of the building. This isn’t a problem if you don’t have to work on video calls a lot, but if you do I would recommend booking their room that has natural light. I really liked the size and comfort of the room I chose though.
Dunia, Hauda, and Aziza, were welcoming and helpful during my stay. The breakfast was one of the best I’ve had during my 2 months in Morocco and you can enjoy it on the terrace. I was mostly working on video calls in my room, but I was also able to use the other common spaces if I wanted. The coliving is near to the beach, restaurants and shops in the Medina. Also the building and room are really beautiful.

United KingdomNothing.
We had a great stay at Noqta, and we were well looked after by the staff team. It felt like being in a home away from home. It’s a quiet place to work, no matter how busy it gets with people, and in the evenings when people leave, it’s even quieter which works well if you work US hours. The room was comfortable and spacious, and we loved all the old riad features. It’s great to have water, coffee and tea provided, plus the cafe for breakfast and sandwiches. Breakfast was delicious and filling. We would definitely return to Noqta when back in Morocco!

United KingdomNothing much! Unfortunately the weather was quite cold at that time, they provided us with additional blanket which was very comfortable! But would be good to have a heater or something to warm up the working space area and room.
Everything was excellent! Clean, great location, super friendly and helpful staff, great breakfast, sunny terrace, the working space is very comfortable and it’s included in our stay. They helped us to arrange taxi to/from airport, the staff even picked us up from Bab Marrakech to the hotel.

United KingdomMy only piece of feedback is that I think it would be better to include access to the shared space for guests or at least discount it. I assumed it was included which was a huge factor in me booking my stay and then I only found out towards the end of my stay that it wasn’t included.
Everyone was really friendly and helpful. The breakfast is delicious, the riad is beautiful and the location is really great, plus the wifi is excellent.

AustriaThere is nothing to complain about and everything met my expectations. It was only sad that during the time of my stay there were no social and networking events, which I would have enjoyed. I got to know people some other way, but it took some time.
The Noqta team are surely the most lovely locals that I got to know in Morocco! Helping out with every little thing, such as laundry, giving recommendations and preparing great food! It is a must visit if you plan to work from Morocco and want to visit Essaouira.

Singaporemy first visit to Essaouira as a solo female traveler and the stay at Noqta space made everything a lot smoother! the location is close to the entrance of the medina, very cosy and well located with a shop selling daily necessities just 50m away from the riad. Dounia, Abdou, and the rest of their team were really kind and helpful, I felt like I came back home to a family every night. you could feel their genuine warmth and hospitality, always happy to answer any questions i had :) a fresh, healthy breakfast is also included in the stay which was a great deal. do not hesitate to book this place, highly recommend it! only thing to note is the path into the riad is rather quiet at night, so I try to be back before sunset or before 8pm as the team would have knocked off work after.

United StatesThe kitchen was small and requires coordination with housemates, but it’s on the rooftop so you get views of Essaouira while you’re enjoying your meal.
Dounia and Abdou are some of the kindest people I’ve met in my travels. They are generous of spirit and easygoing, aiming to create a culture of community among digital nomads. The location of Noqta Space is very convenient, in the historic walled city but an easy walk from the bus station. Breakfast was amazing, and the coffee was fabulous. Also—best internet in Essaouira.
