Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

United KingdomI cannot think of anything... to be honest. One has to be pretty demanding and negative to pick holes as far as this property is considered.
We were a bit late to get to the property but host was very kind enough to let us check-in. The customer services were quite good and importantly the host is just a message/phone call away.

ItalyThe kitchen is functional but upon arrival it was missing some items, i.e an igniter for the stove, a cutting board... There was a broom but nothing to pick up the dust with. There was a large pot which is useful to boil spaghetti but the medium sized pot was not useful (it was not possible to clean it due to overuse and peeling) which meant making pasta was a challenge (I had to cook the sauce first, leave it aside and then use the same pot to boil spaghetti). There is no outlet for water inside the apartment that is at floor level so it is difficult to wash the surfaces. This is also due to a lack of cleaning rugs (I would have bought them myself but there were none available in the small shops near the apartment. They only had small hand towel sized rugs). I felt the host doesn't frequently visit the property and is unaware that it requires regular maintenance and lacks some things that would make guests' stay more comfortable. Finally, the center of Dar Bou Azza is 2.7 kilometres away. It is a peaceful town that has a few good eating venues and can be accessed by a cab application. However, if you wish to take public transport to Casablanca (26 Kms. away) you will need to first apply for a physical bus card in the bus company's office in Casablanca (the station is only 450 meters from the house but unfortunately the bus #301 does not accept cash).
Very comfortable mattress, pillows and bed linen. Very quiet (I slept like a baby). Spacious. Beautiful view to the pool. Responsive and helpful host. A very sweet female dog stays near the entrance to the building. She is totally black in colour, jolly and very friendly and polite. Please feed her as I also did every day.

United StatesWe stayed 10 nights in this condo apartment in Dar Bouzza, Morocco, a suburb of Casablanca. The apartment was clean & comfortable; sofa & bed/linens/pillows all excellent. The Internet was reliable & flat screen TV supported streaming video. Kitchen facilities were very satisfactory - in fact, the host even provided a microwave on our inquiry. The area was safe, about a 15 minute walk from the beach & beach-side restaurants & shops. There's a very nice comprehensive Carrefour supermarket about a 10-minute drive away; the huge - and quite interesting - Morocco mall about a 20-minute drive. The immediate neighborhood includes small markets & a nice Greek restaurant. On Wednesday, there's a huge market behind the condo where the locals shop, a real experience to see just about anything on offer. We enjoyed visiting the famous mosque in Casablanca & walking the cornice along the oceanfront. The host was truly lovely, greeting us at the apartment with mint tea to orient us to the flat, the complex, and the general area. Besides the microwave, she went above & beyond to print out & personally deliver some travel documents we needed. In all, staying at this property was a very positive experience we can recommend to others.
