Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United KingdomNothing to complain about.
Extremely good location for the port of Tangier Med. Modern business style hotel with good parking. ( container trucks parked up obscured the 'direction signs' to the hotel. Same exit from roundabout for port administration and view point )

United KingdomMaybe it was just the night we were there but there was only one person serving in the restaurant. We were a group of 6 but it took over an hour for our food to arrive. When it did it wasn't good. Some of the party had cold food. On the plus side, it was cheap! We also checked out at 7am, however there was no-one on the desk for us to check out with, so we ended up just leaving our room cards on the check in desk.
Room was clean and modern. Shower was really good and fantastic location for an early ferry from the port. Plenty of parking.

United KingdomFirstly Tanger Med should not be confused with Tangiers City, which is 50 minutes by taxi. I was confused the first time and took the taxi, Ferries from Algeciras, Spain only go to Tanger Med, for Tangiers another ferry service runs from Tariffa. Although it is in the same building as the ferry terminal, walking directions are neither provided when booking, nor clearly provided by the hotel staff upon request nor easily known by the terminal staff. It is worth noting that during the daytime, exit the terminal building, which is SECTOR 5, turn left in the covered passageway and pass Sectors 6,7,8, the hotel is next in SECTOR 9. During the night the passageway is closed due to security and you have to exit the terminal into the bus/train station, go straight across and there are outside stairs, when you come up the car parking roof, go right and you will see the hotel. The fixed breakfast menu is an omelette generally served after around 07:30.
Adjacent to the ferry terminals.

United KingdomWhen we arrived, no one was on reception. we ended up waiting for about an hour before we saw any other person, let alone someone who worked there. Right when we were about to give up and look for another hotel, the receptionist appeared from outside, and we were able to get checked in. The hotel is in a bit of a strange location and there really isn't much around it. So you definitely need a car.
Breakfast was not great but the egg omelette was all right. The shower was brilliant and the room was very clean, but felt quite cold and clinical in its design.

United KingdomVery embarrassing for the property, I have been coming here 2/3 a month for 18 months and I am horrified that AYOUB in the kitchen refused to give me a coffee after so much of my custom. It the first time ever we have missed breakfast which wasn’t a problem but a COFFEE??? Haha very laughable AYOUB. AYOUB shouldn’t be in the catering world he has no idea how to deal with customers, please onomo explain that a coffee costs nothing compared to someone spending minimum 1000dh a month with you
Been coming for a year the guy at the night is amazing and the girl in the kitchen very very good very helpful both of them

United StatesIt'd actually very unclear how to GET to the hotel even though it's very close. There were no signs and I had to ask 3 port security officers how to get there. The staff...weren't there a lot...when I got there I waited several minutes before someone showed up at the desk. After checking in I walked around to see there was a vending machine or somewhere I could buy a bottle of water...I found a lounge with a small bar with staff watching TV, I asked about water and they brought me one, I asked if I could use a card to pay as I didn't have local currency yet (it was night) they said yes and went to the thing...He came back and said oh never mind we don't have it...finally we walked Over the the check on area amd he used that card reader to ring me out...weird...Then at check out I again waited nearly 15 minutes for someone e to appear at the desk (he came from the lounge, they were watching football) and said oh sorry and took care of the checkout...Terrible service, but the room was cheap and one to the port so it'll do if you need to stay a night
Location right next the port. Fairly comfortable large bed and room designed very well.
