Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Saudi ArabiaEverything was spot on. The host seemed to have checked that everything was working before we came to the flat. Internet perfect, lights all working and no plumbing problems or moisture. The Host seemed to have a team who was taking care of the flat.
The flat was well located in the Area called Prestigia Hay Riad. This area was central and residential. We felt also very safe as there were many Security guards. I was received next to the apartment at a meeting point. The Host was very friendly and welcoming. He showed us how everything was working in the flat + the 1k tv channels that we had on the TV. The Wifi was perfect, and we could all use it while working and watching tv... There is a supermarket and many restaurants in the area. The Beach (Skhirat) is also 15min away by car. The family really enjoyed the stay in this flat. We will come back.

CanadaThe kitchen lacked a bit of equipment and the cleanliness was not great for the bathrooms. Hassan who welcomed us was professional and kind. However, ATTENTION, the owner who manages the apartment does not live in Rabat, so we had trouble for the payment. No notice or statement that payment had to be made in cash or via bank transfer. The complications related to payment made us lose a lot of time, it was very unpleasant.
The location was perfect and the air conditionning worked well.

United KingdomThe property we checked-in to was different from the pictures, very different - unfortunately we'd to take it as it's already paid and too late to look somewhere else. Description mentioned TV in every room, but the TV was only available in living room. Not cleaned properly. Half of living room light were not working, which made it a bit dim. Kitchenware not very clean and some unusable. Some basic and essential items were missing; bowls, cooker, mop and bucket. Asked landlord and he supplied them next day after some back and forth. AC in living area is not effective and leaks. TV and receiver are a nightmare to operate and requires multiple steps over menu to access channel list, also channel freezes as it relies on unreliable Internet connection. The remote batteries were dead which didn’t help. There was Internet box on the way of time (picture) that we were told couldn't be moved - so we have to watch with it at the middle bottom. Internet connection is slow and unstable. Ants all over the kitchen and on dinning table area, we have to sweep multiple times daily to keep it off the food.
Good location, plenty of parking, nearby playground for kids, near shops, 1st floor, generally quiet, AC, furniture and property generally in good order. Hassan, the host assistant, was very helpful, responsive and understanding, but depended on host for any action. The host was also contactable
