How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

The shower was a bit leaky, and a hair dryer would have been handy. That said, I noticed a dryer was not listed in the amenities and planned accordingly.
Great location, a short walk from everything. Our room was upgraded to include a sitting room and patio, which was nice. Breakfast was good, and service was prompt. It was a very good value for the price.

everything was perfect. Remember this is a small town so don’t expect full amenities. but enjoy the mountain experience.
This is the perfect location because it is close to the city but not in the Medina. It has parking and very very comfortable.

When you choose the rooms - choose according to the pictures, not according to the description, some rooms claiming to have a balcony don´t have it, "because it is not on the picture". And the balcony is quite small so at the end of the day it is not much to desire.
The blue room is amazing - if you going for this hotel, this should be your choice :) The location is ok, just within walking distance from the real "blue" center. Parking is just under the building (but it is limited) so your car is safe and won't be in a sun (especially in summer) all day. The staff is very nice and accommodating - even tho there was some misunderstanding about the room which we booked, everything was solved so we will be happy - we were shown multiple rooms and we could choose which would be the best choice for us. Breakfast is also very satisfying :) Dont forget to go to the rooftop to enjoy the view of the city

Underground parking is a bonus. But the architect of this garage should go to the jail. So stupid disposition and so many pillars are wasting space and complicate maneuvering.
Helpful staff, very good breakfast. Peaceful sleeping. Very good shower space with glass doors. Not so common in Morocco.

The only down side was the noise of dogs barking outside the room at night
We really enjoyed this hotel it was a real gem and lovely service and hospitality from the staff, the rooms were decorated beautifully and breakfast was wonderful

We enjoyed our short stay here. The room was very comfortable although smaller than we had expected. And although there was a balcony, it certainly wasn't big enough to sit out and only provided views of waste land. We enjoyed the breakfast and we were grateful we could safely park our hire car in their garage.

quite a noisy/ echoy hotel. not a problem at all under usual circumstances but a large group booking seemed to take over the hotel and were very rowdy in the restaurant and reception from 7am as they got ready to leave. no reflection on the staff and hotel though!
beautiful hotel really friendly and hardworking staff. great breakfast and arrival tea and sweets which was a lovely touch. good parking facilities.

beautiful decoration. easy access for cars. friendly and helpful hosts. we actually arrived earlier than the check in time so they secured our baggages and prepared our room quickly. when we come back, still a little earlier than the check in time, but the room was ready.

Just one comment - the entrance to the garage is too steep and the car bottom hit the ground. Nothing serious but they should smooth it a little bit
