How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

The view was worse then I expected. I could see some garbage from the balcony. There weren't enough toothbrushes in the room.
Friendly staff. The room was rather clean but not brand-new.

Our shower could have been a little bit cleaner. But it was clean and nice.
The hotel is really nice and close to the city center. The pool is beautiful. The restaurant is really good and in general it’s a great place to stay.

The location, the suite and the service. We stayed at a suite facing the pool. It is very spacious, with a dining area and 1.5 baths.Quiet and nice. The Carrefour supermarket in the mall was nice and well-stocked. All staff was friendly and helpful.

we had our passports stolen from handbag in our room. Managment refused to accept stolen claiming we had misplaced them. We reported them stolen to uk embassy in Marrakech. Who arranged emergency passports. needed flights back. longer stay at hotel as we could not fly as our passports had been cancelled All extra costs to us.hotel managment were not interested in assisting and hid behind we had lost them reality was that there were stolen. extra costs us approx £1200
We had used Raddison Blue hotel before in Europe and always been very hsppy with hotel and staff. The hotel we booked for our week in Marrakech was awful. So spent just one night there and moved into The Raddison Blue in new town. Nice hotel very helpful reception staff and door staff.

Expected better. I was charged a £650 deposit for 4 rooms, yet in my one room, the entrance was barred due to a fallen plank that was not sorted out until the following morning though it was mentioned to concierge. Nor did they contact us to update. Additionally, with this room, there was a huge limescale build-up on the shower head Secondly the room I stayed in the headboard had a lot of wear and tear and marks. I expected better, especially from an international chain hotel.

Breakfast has many options but could be better quality Some street noise due to central location Will need refurb soon - phone & ac had issues but were fixed after telling reception

The selection of meat meals was limited. They could be more generous with the Bottled water since the weather is quite warm.
Staff were friendly, helpful and courteous. The meals were great and the facilities too! Nothing was too much for the staff. I have lodged in 5 star hotels in the past. This hotel was at par with the other hotels.

Bright and clean. Most of the staff are helpful and welcoming. Breakfast starts early, convenient for those with early flight or train to catch.
Convenient location to all: carrefour, train station. 10min taxi away from Medina, manageable.

Cleanliness could have been more thorough throughout the property. Breakfast was average - the fresh fruit was past its best, albeit the choice of foodstuffs was good. Coffee was fine but the hot food didn’t look very appetising.
The staff were very friendly and professional. The WiFi was reliable. The room was comfortable. The pool area and quality of sun beds were excellent. Service around the pool was efficient. The room upgrade was much appreciated. Good value for money.
