Fantastic find within Essaouria. Beautiful entrance space that flows throughout the entire property. The Riad is only made more special by Corinne and the staff on hand. Corinne gave us some recommendations for food which were incredible and truly highlighted the short stay we had in Essaouira alongside some magical places to watch the sun set over the port. Brilliant Riad completed impeccably and made truly special by Corinne and Staff. Breakfast once at the property was one of the best we had during our time in Morocco with lots of local cusine and recipes being showcased. Both Essaouira and Riad Al Manara hold a special place for us. 100% will be back!

The property is a beautifully re designed riad which has had as much of the original structure rebuilt in a gorgeous luxurious sympathetic way. The riad is beautifully light airy clean and so tastefully done. The new glass roof which keeps the place bright and light and helps with the temperature control of the riad.

everything met our expectations - there's a slightly difference in finishings between the suites and the regular rooms - so definitely book the suites if you can, as they're very nicely appointed.

This property has a prime location - literally in the centre of the Medina. you can't get a better location in the middle of the Medina. Essaouira is easy to navigate but the location of the Riad made it even better. Corinne offered a very warm welcome from the start of our stay. Her property has been renovated painstakingly over the last few years and it allows one to see the character of the old, with proper modern amenities making it safe for a modern day traveller, especially slightly older visitors (the bannisters on the staircases were very well received). The variety of breakfasts was great and set us up for two lovely days in the town. Tips from Corinne were also fantastic with us having some wonderful food over the course of our stay - definitely venture out of the Medina and have Crevette for lunch.

Did not provide bottled water daily, only one small bottle on arrival. Would be nice to have tea and coffee making facilities in the room.

We could not have loved our stay at Riad al Manara more. Not only was it the most beautiful riad we stayed at during our time in Morocco, but the staff went above and beyond in making sure we had everything we needed. We felt so taken care of. You will not find a more beautiful, welcoming place to stay.

Everything was wonderful!

Al Manara is like a bright oasis of calm and serenity right in the middle of the busy medina. As soon as you step through the door you are in a different world. The whole place is gorgeous and bright, the rooms are great and you have everything you need. Corinne is an exceptional and kind host and gave us a very warm welcome (by sitting us down, bringing us tea and moroccan sweets and chatting with us - allowing us to really arrive and calm down after our previous journey). We also got a beautiful and delicious traditional breakfast the next morning. Would 100% recommend and 100% stay here again!

The hotel recently opened, very luxury and beautiful Riad in the middle of Essaouria! From welcoming to leaving, I’ve been treated amazingly by Corinne and her crew. The breakfast was amazing, the bed very comfy and the staff super attentive. I would definitely recommend staying here, people should get to know this Riad in the middle of Essaouria.

Riad Al Manara is a gem. Perfect quiet location for exploring the medina and main sights. Beautifully restored Riad, tastefully decorated and great large room, comfortable bed and attention to all the things travelers want. The best breakfast ever with fresh local produce. Very helpful owner.

New Riad in the center of the medina. All in all a very nice stay. very pretty interior and a very good breakfast. Easy to get there from the bus station and close to the beach and harbor.

No service, don t expect to be able to take a beer on the terrasse and enjoy the sunset. Only a guard is present after 5PM. Very noisy at night due to the street and in the morning with the cooks preparing the breakfast, no soundproof room. host is not present in the morning, only cooks that barely speak any language other than arabic. We told the host that our daughter was allergic to nuts, she was served nuts for breakfast. Average breakfast quality compare to other riads. No help with arriving and departure. Our daughter room smelt like fresh paint , horrible. Rooms are cold and humid. You get 2 free capsules of coffee and 2 free small bottle of wate no matter the length of your stay. Internet does not work well. Basically you are on your own.
