The location was in a quiet part of the Medina. The staff were exceptional. It felt that we made friends. I got lost in the Medina at night and one of the staff helped me to find my way. The breakfast was delicious and the riad peacefull. The view on tha terrace were amazing. We really enjoyed the spacious room and thè nice shower.

Well located quiet area. Spacious and clean rooms and bathrooms. Beautiful decor in Riad and on terrace. Great view from rooftop. Excellent breakfasts and dinners. The local Moroccan dishes as well as international fare such as club sandwich and lasagna were excellent and reasonably priced. Too bad we did not get to try the burger…it looked amazing! Do yourselves a favour, escape from the busy activity of the medina and eat in the relaxing oasis of the dining room. Mohamed, Ali and Zineb were all professional, helpful and genuinely kind and friendly. Mohamed contacted me soon after I reserved and booked airport pickup and sightseeing tour from Casablanca, Fes tour and Sahara desert tour for us. Ali packed us breakfast for the road when we had to depart early in the morning. Omar was our excellent driver for all our tours and a great guy to get to know. We had a lot of fun with him. We would highly recommend him.

I couldn’t stay longer and that’s the only thing that was upsetting

If there is any place you should book in Morocco 🇲🇦 then this is the Riad. We stayed 2 weeks in Morocco in different cities and booked about 5 different places and this was by far the best Riad we stayed in. The staff Ali, Zineb and Muhammad was the most nicest and politest people we met. The Riad is very clean, bright and spacious. The breakfast is fresh and plentiful and this hotel deserves 10/10. I do not usually write reviews but this place deserves all the credit and love available and I wish I stayed there longer.

We had a room in proximity of the riad entrance and above a public bathroom of the Riad. Very noisy at times, especially at night. The door of the bathroom downstairs doesn’t close properly and due to the air flows in the Riad it was slamming loudly. We had to close it ourself a couple of times. Needs to be fixed.

It was a great experience staying at this riad. Definitely the most beautiful Riad we stayed during our trip in Morocco. The service was excellent as well as the breakfast. The room and the bathroom were very comfortable and the tips provided by the staff were very useful. Rooftop was great. Overall a fantastic experience!

The riad is in the middle of the old Medina. I booked the room and got messaged on WhatsApp by Zineb. She gave me tips for parking, which then was super easy. The communication was great. When I arrived I got welcomed with tea, the Riad is amazing. It’s very clean, the roof terrace is very nice and the staff is very nice! Especially Ali is a great guy. He helped me find everything, gave me tips and went out of his way to help me plan my trip. And the food is great! Thank you to the whole team for a great experience!

Truly exceptional staff going above and beyond to give you the best stay in Fes. Beautiful Riad, tastefully renovated in the traditional blue and white Fes style. Delicious dinner at the Riad is possible at short notice. Highly recommend staying at Alassala.

No hot water for shower during both evenings. I was told at 11 pm to wait for an hour to have hot water. Unfortunately there was no hot water at midnight

Parking at the hotel isn't available, and the parking has abit of a 'mafia' feel to it. Young gang members arguing about where you park and how much its going to cost. I would strongly advice you give the hotel a heads up when you are going to arrive and then the hotel staff will deal with all the arguing.

The hotel and the staff were unreal! Food was very good and the location is great if your not driving.

The WiFi was the best but we hardly were in the room to care

Amazing location and the interiors of the Riad were stunning. Great common area and rooftop overlooking the city. The room was very spacious and comfortable. Big big shout out to Mohammed and zenab for making our stay comfortable and memorable. They were always present with a big smile with whatever question or request we had. Breakfast was yummy and very filling.

One of the two rooms had a shower that sprayed over the toilet area, but not a fatal flaw.

Inside a nondescript doorway is an elegant, almost palatial mosaic and tile grand room that goes to the ceiling. After a welcome of mint tea, the business of signing in and being shown to our rooms is done with grace. The room - one if their cheapest, a single - was very comfortable and cosy, nicely designed with place to put my bag and table next to the bed. There were tons of blankets and a heater as well. Breakfast is included and dinner is available.

If you have knee problems the stairs might be quite difficult. Otherwise the stay was overall excellent.
