Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United KingdomFelt short changed with the “suite” . Looked nothing like the photographs 😩. Was rather one large bedroom with four beds and a bathroom. Continuous problems with the toilet. No shower curtain. Had to chase up the hairdryer. Public area a bit shabby . Especially the heavily stained rug . Felt front of house staff lost interest in us once they realised we were independent and happy to do our own thing .
Staff friendly on arrival. Room cleaned daily including clean bed linen and towels. Beds comfortable Smooth transfer. Taxi guy was fabulous. Provided with lots of useful information on arrival .Breakfast Ok . Easy to navigate around the area .

PortugalIf you stay for a few nights in Marrakech in the city center, you will soon find out that it is hard to escape from the noise. Riads have a beautiful patio in the center of the building, which usually means that the noise of the city will enter the building (and eventually your room). At Riad Amina you will definitely hear the noises not only from the city but also from the restaurant at the patio
We stayed at Riad Amina for one night. The staff was extremely friendly and helpfully. They've contacted us in advance to confirm if we needed any extra help or a meal by arrival. The Riad is very well kept, clean and has amazing lights. The room was big, the bed truly confortable and the bathroom also perfect. The rooftop is the perfect place to rest for a bit and enjoy a quite time.

RomaniaMore diversity for breakfast. Adding something salty as well or maybe the option for some eggs or omelette.
Spent the first 3 nights of Morocco here. The staff was really welcoming and helped us with dealing with a local guy and parking the rented car in a safe place. The staff was really friendly and sociable. The room was clean, with AC and everything you needed for your stay. Breakfast was good: pancakes, Moroccan pancakes, crepes, bread, butter, cheese, marmalade & honey, coffee & milk. We had tajine (chicken & with vegetables) for dinner and it was delicious. Close to the souks, restaurants. Walking distance from Souk Semmarine & Jemaa El-Fnaa

United KingdomThe breakfast was a little underwhelming. With no menu to understand what was included we got different things on different days.
The location of the Riad was very central. I would advise that people book transfers for cars to the nearby school as its the best pick-up location.

United KingdomWe had a very bad experience with the parking and the walk to the riad. We called the Riad asking where to park and how to get there. They said they were going to send one of their stuff to help as they do that as a free service.. One guy made us mark on the road and obliged us to pay 100 dhr to park on the damn street, then a guy came saying he is from the Riad, and looked way too friendly with the fu**er of the parking scam. We had to pay to avoid having our car damaged. He forced us to get our luggage, and walked us (3 Min walk) to the riad even if we said we didn't want any help. Once we got to the riad he insisted Infront of the management of the Riad to get paid another 100dhr for the service we didn't request, but they didn't block him at all and kept their mouth shut. We argued and didn't want to pay but 2 of his friends came up to force us. Riad team was helpless and didn't move a finger to help us on the situation. We ended up getting scammed of 200dhr trusting those 2 scammers were the Riad team they told us they just sent. Is a shame such a nice place don't take care of their clients in these situations. They have been very helpful after, provided loads of info on where to go and what to visit, so we still gave 4/4 to the stuff valuation. They are super nice and very polite.
Very nice Riad, good position, comfortable rooms.

United KingdomThe walls are very thin, you can hear everything at night so it can make it difficult to sleep sometimes (but I think that is that same for quite a lot of riads). Also the doors can be pushed open from the outside even if you lock it while you are inside.
Location was great, walking distance to everything in Marrakesh, but it is quite hard to find especially at night. Small but comfortable rooms. The rooftop is a lovely place to relax. Staff were nice. Great value for money, it's no where fancy but if you want a comfortable riad in the centre it's works.

United KingdomThe traditional riad layout means that you here lots of people's movements and talking when not in their rooms. It can be disturbing at night, but you get used to it quickly.
