The bathroom was stunning. It was a tiled traditional design, however after every shower (no screen or curtain), the tile floor was water soaked, meaning whatever you later needed to do in the bathroom was done in a puddle of water.

The Art House Cinema hotel was a perfect getaway destination. The room was clean, the breakfast sumblime, Tarik and the team were welcoming and efficient. Anything you needed such as a airport transfer or Spa could be booked at a moment's notice. The location was fantastic, (situated at the end of the Medina), it was so handy. This also allowed for a glimpse into the daily life of the locals.

Only downside was due to the season - cold and high humidity. An electric heater or similar would have been very nice for the cold evenings.

We recently stayed at Art House in Essaouira and had a delightful experience. The highlight was undoubtedly the amazing and diverse breakfast served each day, adding a delightful touch to the stay. The hotel's location, a mere 15-minute walk from the beach, provided both convenience and a peaceful atmosphere. The vibe of Art House exuded a cool and unique charm, making my stay truly memorable. The staff, including Ocama, Mustafa and especially Salah were exceptionally friendly and helpful, contributing to the overall positive atmosphere. Their warmth and assistance enhanced the overall quality of my stay, making it a truly lovely experience. I highly recommend Art House for those seeking a comfortable and welcoming stay in Essaouira.

Room is clear and tidy, the hotel is inside Madina which is very convenience to visit the major attractions and go shopping. In addition, the night staff Mustapha is very helpful and friendly. He upgraded a twin room for two of my friends without charges. The breakfast is very good and tasty. All of my friends love staying at the hotel for sure.

Everything was perfect.

As aone female traveller the staff were super kind and helpful and literally nothing was too much trouble for them. Tariqs day time general management was first class and Mustapha made the best mint tea in Morocco and all the staff were so polite courteous and happy.

Fantastic atmosphere with beautiful roof terraces overlooking the Medina. Has airy feel and combines traditional and modern elements. Beautiful colour schemes. Had the top floor room and we were very comfortable there. Would need to ask for room lower down if stairs are a challenge. Staff very friendly and helpful; they seem to enjoy what they are doing. Good breakfast.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The terrace was charming, and what truly stood out was the incredible friendliness and assistance of the staff. A special mention goes to Alaa Ben Miya, an exceptional host who went above and beyond. With a perfect blend of professionalism and warmth, Alaa prepared our favorite breakfast and provided insightful guidance on exploring Essaouira. Undoubtedly, Alaa is the finest host we've encountered in all our years of travel.

This hotel has been impeccable in every sense of the word. The hosts and staff were super friendly and helpful offering me tea and coffee everytime I left my room haha, they were happy to sit and have a chat with the guests sharing tips on what to visit in Essaouira and the lovely places to dine in as well as just talk about life. As for the hotel itself, everything was perfect, the second floor terrasse, where the delicious breakfast is held, overlooked the magnificient streets of the old medina while the third floor terrasse offered a much larger view of the city. The room and its ensuite bathroom were both spacious and neat with a lovely Moroccan theme. This hotel has made my trip to the splendid city of Essaouira a true wonder, I recommend it 100%.

Everyone was super nice , The staff was super friendly Salah, Tarik, Mustafa, Alaa were all so kind to us and we felt at home truly. Mustafa with his fun stories and his great knowledge on the history of the city , best conversations. the Breakfast was different everyday , rooms were clean , fresh towels. overall I'm definitely coming back i had so much fun .

due to the fact that the riad is located within the heart of the medina, the streets can get a little loud at night if there is cultural/ religious festivities taking place. If you are someone who appreciates their peace and quiet and night, I recommend staying when there are no festivals happening.

All the staff were so welcoming and friendly. They helped us so much throughout our stay and always ensured that we were comfortable. A massive thank you to Mustafa and Salah who have been the best hosts! The view from the roof was phenomenal and we enjoyed eating breakfast there while appreciating the gorgeous view & clear skies. Breakfast was different everyday and tasted incredible. The rooms were spacious and very clean, whilst also having aesthetically pleasing furniture. The whole riad embodied the traditions and spirit of Essaouira and I definitely will be returning after such a pleasurable stay.
