Riad Azzar was the perfect place for our two nights in Marrakech. The location was perfect and even though it was in the middle of the Medina we had no issues of noise to keep us up at night. The staff were all welcoming and the breakfast with fresh fruit and juice was delicious.

This was an exceptional place to stay and enjoy Marrakesh. This Raid is hidden little paradise. It’s incredible quiet and beautifully decorated. The staff were amazing, not only friendly and welcoming but genuinely lovely people to be around . They accommodated all our needs with smiles in their faces and worked really well as a team. From the moment we entered the place both Hicham and YAhya looked after us . The food was delicious and great compliments to chef , as a Morocan myself I thought the standard were high and the chef cooking was amazing. I highly recommend this place , it offered everything that we needed and more and we will definitely be back .

Absolutely nothing.

Riad Azzar gave us the comfort and calmness in the middle of the busy Medina. We felt like at home whenever we entered from the door, the whole Riad is so beautiful and very well decorated. The staff is incredibly kind, we thank Jahja, Hicham, and all the others for their great hospitality. In addition, we thank Asma for all her help and organising our Merzouga trip.

Price vs room size.. I feel price should be reduced when comparing to the room sizes in other riads. Otherwise this is a great find!

I appreciated the efforts from the staff in making us feel so welcome! They helped us find our way into the riad and out! Breakfast was what I looked forward to the most, impeccable quality and so fresh!

I just wished the shower was a bit more enclosed and the beds and furniture surrounding the beds including the plug sockets where I bit more modern and updated.

No dislikes :) The hotel and experience are great! Just make sure to have a screenshot of Google Maps showing exactly where to turn from the busy market street. Local boys may offer to show you where the hotel is, and then they will ask for "paper" money for their service. Local boys don't accept tips in coins. "Give me paper!!!" they will tell you. Be ready for it!

We stayed for 3 days at Riad Azzur and had a fabulous experience! It is situated in the heart of the Medina, which adds excitement if you are seeking an extra emotional experience with authentic vibes. The breakfast is delicious and well-served. Special thanks to Soumia, the chef cuisine. Rachida and Najat, the cleaning ladies, kept the room always tidy and clean! The boys at the reception, Hicham and Yehja, are always attentive and polite. The rooms, along with the hotel itself, are very authentic! If you are looking for traditional vibes, I highly recommend this hotel! ❤️

Nothing to dislike, the property and the staff were exceptional.

From the moment we arrived, the owner Asma and her staff made us feel incredibly welcome. The riad is stunning and the location is superb being only minutes walk away from Jemaa el-Fnaa square. The rooms in the riad are spacious and well appointed, exuding a sense of calm and relaxation. The highlight for us each morning was the incredible breakfast served on the terrace, including fresh fruits, freshly baked breads & pastries, pancakes, a wide range of jams/honey and much more! The staff were super friendly and couldn’t do enough for us…this is a must stay property when visiting Marrakech and we look forward to returning.

Everything! The location was very central but totally quiet once you entered the riad. The team Azzar of Hicham, Rachmida, Somija and Najid were absolutely fabulous. We stayed 2 nights and were looked after so well. The homemade breakfasts were delicious and varied on both mornings. We had ordered different authentic Marrocan menus for the first evening. The food was served at the roof top. It was freshly cooked at the riad by their own cook. It was one of the best meals we had during our 1 week in Marocco. We strongly recommend everyone staying at the riad to have dinner or lunch there.

Secluded location would be little bit concerning for single travellers, the Riad is situated off a busy main street down 2 covered alleyways. On occasion there was a small group of young men congregating near to the entrance door to the RIAD. This did bother us but it may be worrying for some. I guess this is just part of the Marrakesh way of life.

We liked everything about the riad! I only wish that they would have explained that no cars are allowed in the medina. We arrived very late at night (midnight) and it was a little overwhelming to arrive by foot without prior knowledge that it would be the case. Our mistake, though!

The staff was very kind and attentive. We felt very safe and looked after while in the riad. We also enjoyed our room. I was worried about being on the ground floor for privacy and natural light but it was very lovely and light-filled during the day.
