The rooms are a little small and damp, but they are right at the seaside so that cant be helped much.

Simo, the Riad owner was so friendly, and made our stay memorable. He picked us up from the entrance, and made the best breakfest of our trip. He was truly the nicest host from our whole trip (and that was not easy, we had many nice hosts). Location was fantastic and he recommended the best restaurant of our visit.

Staff is very friendly and helpful, Simo met us in the entrance to the old town and helped us to get to Riad, he was at our disposal whatever we needed. We had a longer pleasant stay. The location is great, but the presence of Simo and Kerima made we felt safe and relaxed. We had some special mission to carry out and the host didn't fail with his hand and good will.

I really think this place is overrated, I mean is good but is advertised as a Riad, but it's not, it looks more like a bed and breakfast. Very little privacy and other rooms and the workers can clearly listen to all your business and vice versa. The alley to reach the place smells like cat pee and is dark, there was always dodgy people smoking and drinking and didn't feel safe. Also you can't move freely between toilet and bedroom as there is just a curtain to close the place. the set up of the rooms is weird.

The place is very central, great breakfast, great rooftop sitting area.

The bed in the honeymooners room was very uncomfortable. It killed my sleep and my back! Maybe the other rooms have comfortable beds, I don't know. Other than that we loved this riad!

The riad location and services provided by the owner Simo were great! He catered to our every need.

The riad is a converted family home in the heart of the Medina. Simo one of the owners is always on hand to help and nothing is too much trouble. The room was nicely decorated, with its own private terrace. There is also a roof terrace with a view of the sea. My room was cleaned everyday and breakfast was good.

Quiet riad in the middle of the medina (old town) of Essaouira. We spent two nights there and we had a very lovely stay. The host took care of all of our needs. He gave us very good advice about where to eat, shop and what to see. If we are ever back in Essaouira, we will check if rooms in the riad are available.

The only mistake was that we couldn't stay longer

We really liked the accommodation, great location just a few steps from busy shops and restaurants, yet a very quiet place. Close to the sea and the port. Simo is a fantastic host, he was waiting for us by the bus and escorted us to the riad. He was very helpful all the time, he advised us good local restaurants and helped with printing the boarding pass.

The room we had was a bit on the cozy side, but we also had our own balcony area.

Really loved the location, the outdoor spaces (the top level had an incredible view of plenty of seating area), the breakfast, and the service. My favorite part of the day way having breakfast served on the outdoor terrace.

Located in the middle of the medina. You can get everywhere easily. Rooms are spacious and clean. The host Simo is kind and always ready to help. Breakfast is nice. Our stay was perfrct thanks to Simo 🙂 We'll definitely get back to Essaouira. What a lovely city !!

Simo’s place is like a home away from home. the location is perfect, right in the middle of the medina, but also so quiet and peaceful. breakfast was delicious, filling, and very welcome. the room was cleaned daily and very comfortable! The private terrace and the rooftop terrace were a huge bonus - the roof terrace gets the sun all day. overall we wouldn’t hesitate to stay again or recommend staying here to friends, thanks so much for having us!

We were travelling with our daughter. The room arrangement was a little tight. But for two it's perfect.

Simo and his family were lovely and very attentive to all our needs. It's their converted family home, with very steep and narrow stairs. Be warned. The rooms are nicely decorated with a private sitting area. The terrace roof is lovely. Don't hesitate to book.
