Best service in Fes. Jaouad did everything to make our accommodation comfortable

The room was a little bit dark and could use some more lighting.

The hotel and its rooms are absolutely beautiful and of high standard. It has a great patio and rooftop terrace with a nice view. The breakfast was very good. What we liked most was how extremely kind and helpful the owner Dominique and his team (like Mahmud) were. We always felt taken care of. The location is perfect since it is in the quiet part of the medina.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Riad Batchisarai during my visit to Morocco, and I must say it exceeded all my expectations. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with warmth and hospitality by the staff, particularly Jawad, whose attentiveness and professionalism truly stood out throughout my stay. Jawad went above and beyond to ensure that every aspect of my experience was nothing short of perfect. Whether it was providing recommendations for local attractions, arranging transportation, or simply ensuring that I had everything I needed for a comfortable stay, his dedication to customer service was truly commendable. The Riad itself is a hidden gem, boasting stunning architecture, cozy rooms, and a peaceful atmosphere that provided the perfect retreat after a day of exploring the bustling streets of Fes. The attention to detail in every corner of the Riad is evident, from the beautifully decorated rooms to the delicious breakfast served in the courtyard. Overall, my experience at Riad Batchisarai was nothing short of exceptional, thanks in large part to the outstanding service provided by Jawad and the rest of the staff. Need to provide a key for the front door in case no one is available when guests come back.

Bit of confusion on where to park our car as cars aren't allowed in the Medina. Also a small misunderstanding when we were locked out of the front door and no one was there to let us in or answering the phones. Very large spacious Riad and the courtyard area was exceptional with the decorations. They also organised an amazing local guide to show us around Fez.

The interior of the Riad is absolutely beautiful. The staff were awesome. And the location is close enough to the outer wall that it's simple to get out and about. But being in the Medina it was isolated enough from the real hustle and bustle of the shopping area.

Excellent staff, super friendly. Helped us sign up local tour guide, recommended restaurant etc. Deluxe family suite is spacious for a family of four. Nice rooftop view. Lovely breakfast.

Location - Staff - breakfast - all fabulous. Mehmood catered to all our needs and helped us figure out to buy bus tkts for our next station. Bushra and Khadeja made delicious breakfast - omelette was delicious. Highly highly recommended!

The only flaw is the shower: hot water is not always available, but above all the water does not flow well and so after a couple of minutes the bathroom floods.

The staff at the Riad were outstanding: always helpful, with attention to every request. The location is excellent because it is in the medina but away from the busy area. The breakfast was excellent with a variety of local products. The view from the terrace is wonderful.

Could not recommend Riad Batchisarai enough. Short distance from one of the gates and all the main attractions are within walking distances. The staff were amazing and went out their way to help us with any questions and recommendations. We would definitely stay here again!

· I don't know where to start, From the welcoming to the goodbyes, I can't describe my stay. The Hotel is placed very close to center of the old city of Fez and interior looked modern and the room were big and the bathrooms were as well big and clean. The veiw from the roof with the delicious breakfast from the ladys was something else. We were welcomed with very helpful staff who helped us all through our stay in Fez and informated us about everything and where to do and what to see. I could go on but yeah :) 10/10

The balcony? There is none. It was a significant factor for us when choosing one of the many beautiful riads in Fes. We stayed in the city view executive suite. It had four large partial stained glass windows that we enjoyed opening during the day but no.... balcony. There is a sitting area outside the room overlooking the inner courtyard. I didn't reduce my rating because the magnificent rooftop area with its dramatic medina views was only 20 steps away. However, I believe that the description needs to be amended by deleting this feature. Also, just so future guests know, there is a children's school next door where they have no inhibitions about showing you their joy of learning in enthusiastic voices ;) PS I would agree with other reviewers that paying with a credit card would have been MUCH more convenient than obtaining a significant amount of cash from a nearby ATM.

First and foremost, we had a fantastic stay and would highly recommend this well maintained riad to future visitors. The rooms are more modern (with those conveniences), yet with beautiful accenting, and set within a traditional riad. The pictures in the listing accurately reflect the property. The executive suite, with its bathroom, was spacious and comfortable. The rooftop view of the entire medina was exceptional. The service was also truly exceptional. Jaouad checked us in with a traditional tea, arranged a professional English speaking guide for a 3.5 hour tour of the medina, and also helped with dinner reservations as needed. Makmod was also a fantastic help during our stay and graciously got up at 7am to check us out for an early flight. He arranged a porter to carry our luggage to the Ain Zliten parking lot, where we parked our rental car, 10 minutes away (but uphill! at times) which was a welcome relief for me. He also had a much appreciated to-go breakfast prepared. I didn't get her name but the cook/housekeeper was also so very pleasant and handled any request with a smile. Note: Google Maps walking navigation worked (surprisingly?) very well for us. We never got lost anywhere we went (including the maze of the medinas) in the two weeks we spent in Morocco.

All good. Suggestions: the stairs are quite steep, especially for elderly people. A handrail might help ... Information: only cash payment accepted (info was on Booking but I was not aware of it. ATMs are nearby though)

Very beautiful Riad within the old Medina of Fez. About 15 Min. walk to the well known "Blue Door" and 10 Min. walk to where a taxi can stop. Terrace on top with amazing views over the old town . Breakfast was very tasty with bread, marmeldade, eggs, fruits ... Very friendly and helpful staff who can help with booking a guide, a transfer or excursions and who explain everything very well. We had booked a double room for 3 nights in the first floor which was nicely decorated, clean, comfortable beds, coffee/tea facilities etc.

Excellent communication with Dominique, the owner, even answering message from France. His two right wings , Machmoud et Jawad, are incredibly helpful. Beautiful typical riad with awesome rooftop views…a dream at breakfast!

Building as beautiful architecturally in reality as the photos indicate. Room and bathroom were spotless with high quality modern comforts. Location balances proximity to parking and to restaurants and attractions. All ~10 mins walk. Hotel staff and owner were warm, attentive and hospitable.

Breakfast was very nice, on demand you also get some eggs. Fresh orange juice was fantastic. ApRt from that the whole building was like from a fairytale - decorated with love and style. Our room was on the terrace - with panoramic view. Just amazing! Shower was big and comfortable. But the very best was Ottomane, very attentive, always with a smile, helping also arranging the hamam. We felt with him in very good hands and only can recordist lovely place.
