Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United KingdomThe shower pressure could have been better.
Our room was lovely and we enjoyed breakfast. The staff were all friendly and helpful and came to meet us from the taxi drop off point (we opted for the transfer with the hotel - would recommend this, as the hotel can be hard to find on your own). Excellent value for money.

United KingdomDue to our English phones not working in Marrakesh, we struggled to find it at first, but with help from a local and staff at the Riad we were met and taken there.
We were met in the Medina and walked to the Riad. The man was really nice and made us feel welcome. The tea on arrival was a nice touch and the breakfast was lovely! We spent some time on the roof terrace in the evening.

GermanyBeautiful Riad with traditional mosaique, a nice rooftop and amazing location. Don‘t be afraid of other reviews telling you it is impossible to find. The host picked us up and showed us the path. We never had any issue to find it after.

ItalyBibtia Riad a place to find peace! This review can only begin with a big THANK YOU to Mustafa, the owner, who made us have a wonderful stay; as soon as we arrived he immediately welcomed us with the traditional tea ceremony, he gave us advice on how to get around and things to do, the room was just the right size, considering that we were there just long enough for a shower and to sleep. The center of the Riad is the real highlight, with the typical open ceiling and the multitude of plants it seems to be far from the chaotic center of the city, it is perfect for reading a good book in the evening with a nice glass of tea! Mustafa also offers a shuttle service from the airport to the Riad and vice versa, and once again we must thank Mustafa's availability, who on our return met us at 3 in the morning at our shuttle given the night flight. It's true that perhaps the internet connection wasn't at its best in the rooms but in the center it was more than good and having an ESM necessary to move around the city having a continuous connection, the inconvenience was not felt. Overall I therefore highly recommend this Riad and above all I invite you to become friends with Mustafa, you will not regret it! Shkran Mustafa!

LithuaniaWe've got a room on the first floor, which means that the windows of it are straight to the inner garden with all the people having dinner :) If you don't want that, make aure to ask for another room in advance.
This place was the best part of visiting Marakesh :) The inner garden full of maroccan art and plants with a small fountain as well as authentic room made a great impression on us. p.s. We appreciated the fresh orange juice for breakfast :)

GermanyWater only luke warm in the morning... maybe solar heated. Wifi didn't quite reach the room, but was strong in the lobby.
Great location hidden away in the central Medina. Rashid was very polite and extremely helpful to print out a boarding card. Thank you! Lovely decorated Riad, with a bit of patina, which only added to the charme, but very clean. Great roof terrace with a view. Very pleasant stay.

PolandHard to find at first, but it shouldn't be a concern after 2-3 walks to/from the riad. If you are brought to the place by someone else (possibly Mustafa), try to remember which way you took by the signs on the walls, like names of other riads from the neighborhood. Navigating with google maps won't work after turning into the entrance by Cafe Mouassine. We got a small room just by the reception, so we heard everything when someone was having a breakfast, but we got used to it eventually (other rooms are on the upper floor so it shouldn't be an issue there).
The riad is stunning inside, just for the sake of its looks I would book again. There's also a quiet terrace available. Mustafa booked a day trip for us and was really helpful overall, you can tell he cares about his guests. We had tagines on the day of arrival and it was a perfect welcome to Marrakesh - I recommend doing the same.

CanadaWe had two different rooms here. The first room was a little dark and the shower was old. The second room the bathroom was more modern.
Authentic riad in the heart of the Medina. The manager Mostapha was such a sweet soul and did everything to welcome us and make us feel comfortable. The riad is hard to find but Mostapha greeted us and guided us in and out to the Medina for the first few times as it is a warren of small roads. All part of the experience and we enjoyed it.

United KingdomAlmost impossible to find deep in the heart of the Souks. Google maps told us the Riad was just a few meters away. We studied the map, followed it closely, and each time came to a dead end. Eventually, a local boy led us away from the main bustling souk to a maze of dark, deserted, narrow alleys, making me slightly concerned that we would be robbed by an accomplice. But a door with the name of our Riad Bibtia greeted us. The boy asked for a tip, but by that point I felt too vulnerable to get my purse out, and I shooed him away. Slightly run down and squeaky bed, but, hey, for the price you can't complain. But certainly not a 3 star hotel, as it claims to be.
This Riad was a dream; magnificent ornate tiled splendor, with cushioned couches tucked into various gauze curtained alcoves on which I could lounge and play 'Queen of Sheba' and a rose strewn central font. It had seen better days but was incredibly luxurious value. Great breakfast with freshly pressed orange juice, Morrocan breads, honey, eggs and coffee. Sweet little birds nested in the roof and joined us for breakfast, sitting on our table hoping for crumbs. The roof terrace offered sweeping views of Marrakech, and at sunset, the call to prayer, a chant of 'Allah Achbar!', 'God is great', floating in the air from all directions, was truly magickal. Very nice and patient man, Mustafa, works there, and was always ready with a smile.
