Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

BulgariaThe balcony of our room was above the kitchen, and in the morning, while admiring the sunrise and the palm grove view, I could smell the cooking.
Warm welcoming, stylish ambiance, cozy dining area, friendly and helpful staff. I will remember this place with the best Moroccoan Briwat ever tested (especially the one with cheese) and the best bed linens ever slept in. The fabric was gently perfumed, pure white and velvety soft, creating an overall sense of luxury and tranquility, enhancing every moment of relaxation.

United KingdomNot much room in the shower room. We arrived the Riad after sunset, once off the main road, it was difficult to see the road as it was quite rough, but very nice once we got there.
Nice quiet place to stay, the terrace is beautifully decorated, tge front garden is also nice.

ThailandThe door is not tightly sealed, so bugs and flies could come in the room. Limited option for breakfast (compared to other riads in Morocco we stayed using booking.com) Our rooftop room’s bathroom did not have any curtains. People can see you when you use the toilet or when you bath.
Very nice view of their own garden.

GreecePeople working in Riad are very, very nice and polite but a bit slow in service. Maybe it’s just because of Ramadan ? Who knows . The dinner is served only 20:00-22:00, so it’s very limited time.
Perfect place to stay to discover the region . It’s like living in oasis - greenery everywhere around, beautiful garden and roof top . The place is very clean and comfy decorated in beautiful Moroccan style but with all modern amenities.

PolandFriendly staff. Clean and well-maintained room. Hosts went out of their way to assist us at 3 in the morning to reach our destination. Received plenty of helpful tips about the area upon arrival. Beautiful surroundings with palm groves amidst oases. Very good and generous breakfasts.

United KingdomIt was a windy night so staying on the top floor was not a good idea. Also, during sleep you can hear a couple of dogs barking that makes your night even worse. The road to the hotel was very bumpy and needs some work.
The staffs were nice and polite. Our room was spacious and all the decorations were very Moroccan. The breakfast was a Moroccan standard.

United StatesLocation is a bit of a drive to see things, so you have to have a car - I don't know what I was expecting and it's in a remote residential area. Would have rather eaten at the Riad, but the menu was a little over priced in comparison to all the places we have been and the selection.
Our room was large and spacious and decorated beautifully. It was very comfortable and had sitting areas which was very nice to sit around and talk. The staff was also friendly the gardens and surrounding riad property was well maintained and lovely.

CanadaNothing serious, but the shower water flow was quite weak, and even being careful, the water goes everywhere. There are also a lot of dogs in the village and they can be raucous at night, but that's not the fault of the riad.
The Riad is very lovely. Well, thought-out room layout and decor authentic to the region. The beds were comfy and had nice pillows. The gardens are lovely, and the Rooftop terrace was cute and had lots of seating to enjoy a tea or coffee. Dinner and breakfast were very tasty and portions generous. I'm celiac, and the chef even went out of her way to make me some gluten-free breakfast bread! I was so appreciative. The staff are all fabulous! Omar, the manager, shared a wealth of knowledge about the region, and Yaseen gave us great suggestions for buying local goods. We felt very comfortable at the Riad. We were also able to leave some of our luggage and rental car with them while we did a desert tour.

CanadaThe dirt road getting to the riad. It's not a big deal though, any car could take you there.
Our room!!! It was on the terrace level and had it's own balcony overlooking an oasis, a field of palm trees. The view of the sunrise from the large windows was beautiful. The bathroom was nice, good water pressure, hand held bidet. The bed was comfortable. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. I'd come back!
