Every moment in Riad Dades Birds was joyful! We enjoyed chatting with Brahim and Mustapha in the kitchen, ate everything they cooked on site (delicious!), enjoyed the live Moroccan music after dinner, learned Berber history and language. We loved their dog Lulu's company, and named her two puppies Simba and Nala. The gated parking lot is plus! Thanks for the extra blankets and heater!

The place in general was amazing! I love how the Riad is decorated and it's even more beautiful than it looks in the booking gallery. Mustapha and Brahim were very kind and met all our needs, we were confused about the right place to stay in the desert but they They arranged everything and found an amazing place for us. The Berber food that we had in the Riad was delicious, you should make it in your bucket list! We also had some conversations about the Berber history and took lessons about the Berber language alphabet! Finally; hopefully we'll be back in April to enjoy the Roses season. We stayed at Riad Dades Birds for 1 night, the service, rooms and cleanliness were excellent. The extremely hospitable welcome and delicious food were memorable. Mustapha is very good Birding Guide in Tagdilt track and around. In addition to showing the special bird species of the region, He also helped me a lot in the organization of our birdwatching trips in other cities We visited in Morocco and allowed us to communicate with local guides too. Highly recommend it.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Riad Dades Birds. We would stay for 1 night, but in the end we stayed for 3 nights and we loved it! Mustapha and Brahim are great hosts. We felt so welcomed and looked after by them. The food they prepared was delicious. We had breakfast, lunch and dinner. We had great conversations and made music together. The room was amazing. Spacious, lots of windows so air could flow through, beautiful decorated. On our second day we went on a guided bird tour with Mustapha. We enjoyed it very much. Mustapha is an excellent bird spotter and guide. We saw eagle owls, long legged buzzard and a falcon and many other little birds. Also in the Riad there is a lot of birdlife, because of the abundant plants and trees in the courtyard. We went regularly for a little walk outside the Riad into nearby fields and gardens. The Riad is quiet and peaceful, nice terraces! But most of all the staff were great company! We will be back!

Door for the bathroom was a bit too low and you could hit your head. AC was missing. Shower had no water pressure.

Friendly family business with a terrace ideal for star gazing. We had dinner and it was delicious but not the best vegetarian option. Breakfast is plenty and with a lot of variety. Inner courtyard emanated a typical Moroccan atmosphere.

A great birders lodge in a rural setting nearby fantastic birding gardens. The rooms and food are excellent. The owner is a gem! They are so helpful and a wealth of information about birding in Morocco. Highly recommend this place for birders and travelers to the Dades area.

Really enjoyed my stay here. A charming Riad designed primarily for birders but not exclusively. It had character and was a really comfortable place to stay. Breakfast and dinner were really tasty - was impressed with the effort made to create something different each evening. As a birder, I booked half a day guiding with (the excellent) Mustafa that included the Tagdilt Track picking up a few of the local specialities in the area . Am planning another visit to Maroc next year and would definitely stay here again.

An incredibly comfortable and good-looking place. Nice rooms, comfortable beds, nice food for breakfast, lunch and dinner and a great terrace to rest and enjoy the sunset. Definitely a great bet if you are planning to sleep near Boumalne Dades. Besides, the owners of the place know so much about birds, so if you are keen on birdwatching, do not lose this opportunity. Highly recommended.

Beautiful lodge, friendly people, excellent food. Very nice agricultural area behind the lodge for bird watching: Egrets and wagtails, serins, hoepoe's, titts, warblers, Levaillant green woodpecker and flowering almond trees.

Nothing, everything was perfect!

Nice place to drive to the Dades gorge and valley du roses from there. Easy to find directly on the road between Ouarzazate and Boumalne Dades. Very comfortable room with heating, comfortable bed, hot water, friendly staff who gave us some good info what to visit and see. Delicious food in a nicely heated restaurant. Also the Lodge has a safe parking inside the hotel for motorcycles, cars,...etc. Highly recommended this lovely place to stay.

The location is difficult to find, especially at night with google map. The wifi in our room was not good.

The front desk was very nice. He turned on the heater to warm the room for us before we arrived at late night. The yard is beautiful. The breakfast is very delicious. It was quiet.
