Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

Gibraltarthe property was so good it was hard to get the kids to leave it to go out and experience the sights
This property is a hidden Gem outside of the hustle and bustle of Marrakesh. As a family with 2 young children we appreciated the spacious room overlooking the pool. It was spotlessly clean and there was always this fresh clean scent especially after the room had been serviced daily which I later learned was orange blossom. The gardens were stunning and added to the sense of tranquility . The kids enjoyed the beautiful pool. The owner was very welcoming and we must Mention Nordin who took care of us and couldn’t do enough for our children. Every day there was a different surprise. when he saw the kids lounging around he would go and drop a huge pile of toys in the pool. Another day he would get the ping pong table out. I know there has been mention of how far it is from the medina but to be honest it was only a 15min drive away in a very reasonably priced private car and free transfer from the airport. For me the food was the highlight of the trip. Every morning we would choose our menu for the day, as the ingredients had to be sourced daily. This meant we had the freshest and most delicious authentic moroccan meals. my son has a dairy and egg allergy so special milk was brought in for him. my husband and I love mojitos, so fresh mint was picked from the garden to make some for us by the pool. We had an amazing tour on camel of the Agafay dessert , with a meal watching the sunset organised by Karim which was so special. All in all we loved our stay and will surely be back soon to try the new Spa !

Belgium- Management and staff do their utmost to help you. - Great hotel chambers. - Quality local food from own kitchen. Made from basic ingredients. ('basic' used here in the most positive way) - Calm environment away from the busy streets of Marrakech/Medina. - Good communication with their Transport Touristique team. You will pay a bit more compared to a local 'petit' or 'grand' Taxi. (still cheaper than eg Canarias). But you will not have endless discussions on pricing/compteur. You will feel safe. They are on time/reliable day and night.

NetherlandsRoom didn’t match online description (eg description stated separate bedroom which was not the case). Was challenging to communicate with the staff in English which also made it difficult to order food for the meals and others.
Beautiful space with good facilities, ideal for a relaxation stay.

United KingdomAs the property is about half an hour from city centre the surrounding areas are fairly quiet with not much to see.
The staff were amazing, the owner Karim in particular was always on hand for anything I needed. I was welcomed with fresh Moroccan tea by the pool before settling in to my room, a very sweet touch!

DenmarkVery warm and personal service. Good food, breakfast as well as dinner. The kasbah is located some 25 minutes drive outside of Marrakech city centre so it's a plus if you have your own car. The kasbah itself though arrange transfer to the city centre. The pool is a great bonus.

United Kingdomnothing to dislike
A totally calm, quiet and tranquil oasis. Beautiful gardens and pool. Immaculately clean. Superior rooms in restful Moroccan style, luxurious and restful. Different style to big hotel ethos, was more like a retreat or house party ~ odd at first with no menus, but soon realised the wonderful owner Karim would discuss each morning suggestions for lunch and evening meal which were then cooked to order using all locally sourced ingredients. A real chance to experience authentic Moroccan cooking at its very best. 30 min taxi to Marrakech for explorers. Not a fast paced, partying or boozing destination but if you want total peace in a fabulous environment with outstanding food then you’ll find it here. Even gorgeous house dog and cats to hug.
