That it was furnished like a “ modern” riad, with too much concrete and modern art

The bed , very clean and good location

A stunning Riad, beautiful architecture and associated art. We had the top room with its own pool, a luxury treat in its own league. The staff are exceptional. The hotel gives a sense of a bright, go ahead future for the region. Go there!

The stay was perfect. The personell were very helpful and congenial - a special thanks to Bada for all his help and the unforgettable welcome tea and sweets. Great breakfast. Very clean! Perfect location in the Medina. Very happy to have been able to experience the design and decoration of the Riad which fell very in our taste.

The fact that I had to leave!

It was like walking into an art gallery. Very beautifully done and decorated. The room was massive, so as the bed....soooo comfortable. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful. A little yogurt would not go a miss. The staff was very courteous and helpful. I had some good recommendations for dinner. Highly recommended!

I wish there was a full-sized mirror in the room. Also, the drain in the bathtub was blocked.

The riad felt like a charming little art museum; the design was truly impressive. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, making our stay even more enjoyable. And breakfast? Absolutely amazing! The location was excellent too! Overall, we couldn't be happier with our experience.

It can get a little noisy from outside the riad.... but then again every riad I've stayed in is noisy.

A really nicely renovated riad. OK maybe the artwork wasn't to my taste, but nevertheless the rooms and the public areas have been well done. Friendly and helpful staff especially the lovely lady who serves breakfast. Good breakfast on the roof terrace with various egg dishes for a little extra cost. Convenient location. I had a quick look in the penthouse suite which has it's own private pool and outdoor seating area, if you can afford it, it is really nice..... maybe next time.

This was our favourite Riad in all of Morocco, very comfortable bed, generous sized rooms and bathroom with great facilities and the very best breakfast!! The rooftop was a great bonus and the location is perfect, central but not noisy/busy. Wish we had more days!

The room doors although very beautiful and antique they don’t isolate and you hear every sound outside of the room, I highly recommend earplugs The toilet door also as part of the room’s decoration is quite a situation for someone’s privacy so depending on whom you might travel with this could be a bit awkward..

Harmonious fusion of moroccan and modern in this Riad, great location, walkable distance to most sights. The Staff was splendid, very nice and helpful! We had the Junior Suite, big and comfortable bed, there’s a chimney in your room if you visit in cold months, beautiful rooftop with chaise longue to relax. When we visited in March the pool was still closed. The Breakfast was the most generous I ever had on my trip.

Some of the rooms dont have any street windows which can be quite depressing and also gives a strong humidity smell. Some walls repair needed.

The combination between rustic and modern, the art inside of the hotel, the staff, the food which is excellent, best mattresses and pillows ever - literally felt like floating on a cloud. Everything makes you feel like you are home.

Beautiful converted riad with cool art and interiors. The staff were amazing. Our room had a private terrace with a small pool which made our first two days in Essaouira a good way to wind down.

I didn’t like the description of my room, thought I was booking, junior suit with separate living room space, my room was still very beautiful. Don’t know if this is booking . Com fault

The artwork on the walls, the terrace, all very tastefully done. The staff were lovely, would help in any way. The owner charming, and so kind and helpful. Taking us to the flea market, the hotel is very special.

Doesn't have heating. You can fire up a chimney, which is nice, but it doesn't last through the night, obviously. Also, being in the medina, does not have parking. You need to carry your luggage 7-10 mins or pay a cart to deliver it to the Riad.

Beautiful design, good service, helpful hosts, wonderful breakfast on terrace, overlooking the city.

Beautiful Riad with exceptional interior design in the middle of the Medina. Breakfast, served on the rooftop, was one of the best we had in Morocco. Staff was very helpful. When the night was chilly they even fired up the chimney for us. Definitely worth a visit!

This property was perfectly located. Near to the car parks outside the walls but within walking distance to all the markets, alleys, shops and restaurants. The breakfast was the best breakfast we had the whole trip and we have been up and down the whole coast. The view from the rooftop at breakfast was exceptional. The staff were incredibly friendly and kind and could not do enough. The bath was amazing and relaxing and they kindly lit a fire for the cool evening. We cannot wait to come back.
