Using this style of bathroom needs getting used to (toilet in shower). Decoration in the room itself could benefit from a little more love.

The staff was so helpful and kind. The breakfast option was good and enough to choose from. It is not a buffet so you get a selection of the standards on your table. The small pool might be nice to use in warmer weather. The roof terrace was beautiful and relaxing. Overall the style and decoration was fitting to the experience.

Everything! The property is super nice, well located in the medina and has the most amazing staff! Each room is unique with special attention to detail and extremely clean. The breakfast was one of the most delicious we had in Morocco. We stayed at this riad during the earth quake in 2023. We were so glad that we booked this riad! The staff was well organized, calm, always positive, polite and uplifting during the most difficult time. We truly want to thank for all the efforts of the staff, which made us feel safe at all times! We can highly recommend this riad!

The best part of our stay was the staff :) Khalid and Abdul made us feel at home from the beginning and went ABOVE and BEYOND to make sure we had everything that we needed and that our stay was comfortable. I definitely recommend this Riad and hope to come back :) The place was very nice and offered an authentic Moroccan stay. The bed was very comfortable and I loved the shower and the food offered.

You don’t get a key to the main entry door. So you have to knock to be let inside. We didn’t realize they deadbolt the door over night and had an excursion that left at 5am. We were momentarily locked inside until we woke up an employee to let us out. It ended up being ok but just should have been communicated.

Riad staff was amazing! Everyone was friendly and super helpful always going above and beyond. Breakfast on the terrace was delightful. Room was cozy and stocked with bathroom amenities. I enjoyed being able to try the traditional Moroccan soaps and oils.

Noise insulation to improve, we could hear people in the room next door pretty clearly through the wall.

Very good breakfast, super kind and ready to help staff. Spacious bathroom with great hammam vibes. The whole bedroom with high ceiling is also very appreciable. Well thought through rooftop with stunning view over the Medina.

Best place to stay when you re discovering one of the most interesting countries in the North Africa

As I previously mentioned, the furniture might feel a little bit "old", but I truly think this is not a problem and actually it makes it more interesting. To be honest, there is nothing I can complain about this place.

Everything was perfect. The cleanness, the staff (Khalid was the best guest I ve ever had in my life), and the facilities (the pool, and the shared area) were always welcoming and perfectly maintained). You'll be staying in Medina, so you should except for the bed and furniture to appear "old", but I truly think this is the magic of it. Khalid helped us with literally everything we asked for, he was calm and smiling all the time, always (even late in the night) there to welcome us and to make sure we are all good. Again, he's the best guest in my life. If I return to Marrakesh, even if I can find less expensive options, I would come back to this place because it's everything you need when you go to a completely different country and culture; great place and great people.

there was nothing i “didn’t like” but few improvements. it would be good to get some variety to breakfast, an egg, tomato, cucumber or meats. very bread led and sweet. single room sheet was unusual in texture, didn’t fit Right and you could see the very old mattress.

khalid who runs it is so helpful, knowledgeable and goes out of his way to ensure you are well looked after.

Both Booking.com and Google maps do not accurately show where the riad is. You may need to call for assistance!

The staff at Riad Golfame, especially Khalid, truly went above and beyond. I had difficulty finding the riad and the staff met me where I was and walked me there. Khalid also offered restaurant recommendations and walked me and my friends who were staying elsewhere home to make sure we didn't get lost at night. Khalid, thank you again for your kindness! Overall a very comfortable stay with a great breakfast, a beautiful rooftop, and very nice shampoos/soaps in a warm shower!

The website reports availability of the restaurant with lunch and dinner at 25€ each. Lunch and dinner are not available if you are alone. They do not cook for one person. Position is complicate if you do not know the Medina. The narrow streets to get to the Riad in my opinion are not advised for a girl traveling and walking alone. Staff is sometimes (not always) available to accompany and pick up.

The location was horrible. We were in sandwiched in between dilapidated buildings and were harassed by local thugs there.

I had a horrible experience! The location was horrible and the total opposite of what was promoted. To make it worse, when my colleague and I expressed our desire to cancel, the establishment forced us to pay for one night, even though we weren't going to stay. We feel cheated and lied to! We want a refund.

The guys at the riad were telling us that the taxi costs 100dirhamss to 200 to take us out and back. This wasn’t true as we were apparently made aware by locals about the price which should have been about a third of the price they were suggestjng. So we realised that they were splitting the amount with the drivers. The riad is located in the bad part of the medina. It was impossible to find it without someone coming to pick us up. On the first day we waited 30minutes in the street and nobody was able to speak english properly and explain to us the wait. Additionally rooms barely have lighting and dont look like pictures. We ended up moving to Riad noos noos for less money and the other property is impeccable. Definitely riad golfame is clearly robbing people.

We liked the staff, and initially we thought they are helpful until we then stayed at other place in the Medina and compared it.
