Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United StatesIt was a little hard to find at nite in the dark as there isn’t much around…but don’t let the location deter you…this place is pure magic.
I loved that the property was set apart from the hustle and bustle of the Medina…a calm, quiet oasis amongst the excitement of the old city. The staff was nothing short of amazing…having to leave very early for a trek to the desert, breakfast was made for me by candlelight and I was escorted to my pick up spot no questions asked.

NetherlandsThis is a beautiful Riad just outside the souks, but still within the medina walls. When we entered the Riad, it was like going through the cupboard of Narnia. We were welcomed by Jacques with traditional tea and amazing moroccan sweets and he explained us what to do and how to get around in Marrakech. The Riad Kbour&Chou is a very idyllic place, beautiful rooms and a very nice rooftop terrace where we had excellent breafasts and amazing dinners. Very much recommended.

United KingdomBeautiful Riad that has been put together with so much dedication and charm that feels like no other. The amazing food included probably one of the best dinners we have had in Morocco. They helped us organise taxi pick up and drop offs multiple times and did a great job with logistics. Their staff were so helpful and welcoming. Borrowing the Riad bikes to explore the city was a great experience in itself. We will definitely come back! I would recommend others to read their website to learn more about the magical place.

Everything! The communication with Rachid before arrival, the warm, stylish welcome, the design, spacious incredible rooms, staff, the pets the plants, the roof terrasse.. and the true hospitality of moroccan tea on the house throughout the stay is a very appreciated, generous gesture. A true gem and home away from home in the Medina.

BelgiumI have been to Morocco plenty of times, but this is the most wonderful riad I have ever stayed at. So peaceful, very quiet and a great area! It's in the Medina but in a not so touristy, more calm area, which is lovely to walk around. It's about a 25 min fun walk to Jamelfnza. Big thanks to the amazing staff. Mona, Naziha, Karim, Jacques and the others, who made us feel so welcome. Last but not least, the food, waaw!! Definitely eat dinner here if you can, and the breakfast is the best I have ever had. Can't recommend this riad enough!!

United KingdomWe liked everything!
Breakfast was exceptional - lots of variety, fresh produce and excellent service, all in beautiful surroundings! We also had an evening meal and a lunch, both of which exceeded our expectations and we would rate as the best food we had during our stay in Marrakesh. Riad Kbour & Chou is delightful in every way and we would recommend 100%!

United KingdomWe loved everything about the property. The only reason we didn’t give a 10 was due to the wood smoke that we often smelt (which irritated the coughs we had from colds). Appreciate that can’t really be helped though.
It was a little oasis needed after all the hustle & bustle of the souks, a beautiful riad which felt welcoming & peaceful. We were very well looked after by the team who were always on hand if we needed anything. The breakfasts on the rooftop were a highlight & our room overlooking the courtyard was beautiful. Overall, it exceeded my expectations!

CanadaThere seems to be a lack in communication. First the staff gave us recommendations on where to have dinner, and I said we already booked a dinner with the hotel--which he seemed to have no idea about, but all was fine we still had our dinner there. I also requested a birthday cake or pastry for my partner (a week+ in advance through Booking.com) which they confirmed to be prepared alongside dinner. In the end, there was no cake--the staff seemed to have no idea. Dinner itself had beautiful vegetables but the Tagine of chicken and lemon was very forgettable. The amount of time between appetizer, dinner, and dessert was very long--but we did sit on the terrace so we were a bit out of the way for staff.
It's like walking into an oasis. The property is beautiful and well cleaned. We were picked up by one of the staff and they helped us walk our luggage to the hotel. Everyone was very friendly and the location was definitely hidden, but not sketchy. Our room was exactly as in the pictures, and the welcome drink and treats were lovely. One of the staff gave us an excellent rundown of what to see and do in Marrakesh. We only stayed one night and in the morning they helped us communicate with our driver and escort us to the vehicle. The friendliness of the staff is the best part of this property!

The location was central and in a few minutes you walked into the lively part. The breakfast on the rooftop was super. The sun coming up with a fresh tea, different kinds of bread with a good egg. Fresh fruit and yoghurt. Everything super fresh, served with a smile. The pick up from the airport was good

United KingdomThe walk at night after a certain hour to come back to the hotel from the center is less pleasant than during the day, but still possible to get a taxi to the drop off point. Airport private transfer quite expansive compared to taxi prices
Amazing place with great taste, very nice people, very clean, quiet, amazing breakfast, good location easy to pickup a taxi from the drop off point a few minutes walk from the riad, slightly farther from the souks but easy walk to go there

Breakfast on the rooftop, option to lit fireplace in the room, beautiful interior details, classical music in the salon. The staff is helpful and friendly and makes you feel at home. GermanyWe, as a professional fashion journalist and an offer, dare to say that we have some kind of proclivity for aesthetics. According to the pictures, we expected a nice Riad. However, our expectations were outperformed by far. Every interior is hand-picked and has a history, the staff is more than friendly, and breakfast is outstanding.

SpainProperty is outstanding. No dislikes.
Before arriving in Marrakech, I dreamt of dreamy days relaxing in a luxurious Riad surrounded by Moroccan art and influences. This Riad has it all, tremendously caring staff, a magical setting, delightful rooftop terrace and opera music in the evenings! We were treated to such a wonderful hospitality experience here. Jacques and his team are so focused on guest care and comfort. We sincerely appreciated the efforts of Mohammad, Rachid, Karim and the truly exceptional chef. She cooked us a lunch in the courtyard which was one of the highlights of our trip in Marrakech and having spent a total of 10 days here, that says a lot! Don't hesitate to book here, you won't be disappointed.
