The location of the hotel itself was abit difficult being that when the taxi dropped me off it was then a few turns to get to the hotel which did feel abit of a maze and out of the way that could easily be missed if not had the driver walk me to the hotel itself

The staff were absolutely amazing, Amin and Ishan most amazing helpful gentleman I've met, the moment i entered the hotel they offered tea and coffee and gave a print out map and gave places to see, to eat and other activities such as massage and spa's to visit. Could not ask for any better hosts (they make great breakfast aswell!)

I didn't like to go home.

We loved completely everything in Riad Zhor! The house itself and the feeling to be at home there, the so friendly staff that always helped us whatever and whenever we asked, the cozy breakfast and very tasty dinner, the relaxing time on the roof terrace and the ground floor, the silence after a long day walking through Marrakech and and and... We were really sad when we had to leave and wish to come back!

google maps will try to send you around the building but it is a dead end. be careful because people will try to lead you to the hotel and then ask for money. just be persistent and shout no! or if you’re non confrontational bring some candy with you.

everything was amazing during our stay. the staff was always available and helpful with anything. the cleaning ladies were super nice. the ambience during the evening/night is amazing and the roof top was perfect for relaxing or eating breakfast. it is definitely worth the money and I would recommend to everyone. it was very clean and very comfortable.

Walking distance to everything, the Raid was amazing the staff were exceptional made you feel at home as soon as we walked in. Breakfast on the rooftop was lovely with the sunrise. We were there in winter the heating was fantastic. We would definitely stay again and highly recommend this Raid.

Absolutely gorgeous Riad we really enjoyed our stay here. The decor is top notch, flowers, candlelight, beautiful smell and music all added to a relaxing atmosphere. We really felt well looked after thank you to Amin for arranging welcome flowers and a note for my daughters 18th birthday and to Hishim for arranging my SIM card which saved me a fortune! Both of you are a credit we felt really well looked after and all the hints and tips for getting around Marrakesh was really helpful! Highly recommend!!

As it was our first time in Morocco / Africa, it was a culture shock for us. But we've received fantastic hospitality from Amin, Isham, and the ladies. They put our minds at ease and made us feel safe. The riad felt like we've stepped back in time, the smell, aesthetics, and the atmosphere was amazing. The room was quite dark but it was great after a sensory overloaded day. The breakfast, lunch, and dinner was delicious! *Chef's kiss* Would 100% recommend and would definitely come back again. P.S. Could the orange blossom oil be purchased online?

The only issue was the hand held shower - it works fine but you have to be careful how you " hold " the shower head to avoid soaking the whole bathroom with water. Nothing else to fault - highly recommended.

I celebrated my birthday here on the 12/02 with friends - exceptional service - Isham was simply the best - what a credit!!! Nothing was too much trouble. The Riad is so pretty and in a great location. Breakfast on the sunny roof terrace made the stay even more enjoyable. WiFi is very strong. I recommend the rooms on the second floor as they are bigger. Those on the ground floor are quite compact but all are tastefully decorated. However, all are beautifully decorated.

Friendly staff, room decor, felt safe and secure. Amine, Isham and all of the staff went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed during our one week stay. The morning after our arrival we went on a Sahara desert tour very early and didn't have a chance to tell the staff. On the afternoon of the 3rd day I received a call and text from Amine wondering if we were OK that they hadn't seen us and were getting worried! Such amazing attention to detail and care like I've never seen from any hotel staff before!

Hard to find

The riad Zhor is a small gem. I felt in love with it just looking to the photos on the internet and the reality was even more impressive. Hidden behind the doors in small and narrow street it shows a beauty of arab world and hospitality. Mysteriously dark, traditionally ornamented, with candles and scents. And staff was heartwarming nice, especially Amin and Hadizha. I wish to return there once again. Even in January it is a bit tricky to have a breakfast into the open yard, it absolutely worse the stay.

everything was amazing, i would say that for people who never have experimented Riads, the rooms are quite darks but for a few days it was a nice atmosphere

the personal and service were amazing, truly grateful for the experience of staying in the Riad and all the personal that made out short stay honeymoon really worth it. The riad is well located, very charming, clean and abobe all, the personal were adorable. dont hesitate also to have lunch or dinner at your own riad, the cook was exeption. We found the rooms a little dark, but that is common in Morocco and guests younger than us loved the decor!

Wonderful staff! We arrived tired and stressed and Amin gently sorted any problems we had. He and the other staff were incredibly hospitable and a great introduction to our trip round Morocco. Riad was comfortable with good sized rooms and amazing roof terrace.
