Our room was on the dark side as it didn't have any windows but I suppose it made it very quiet which wasn't such a negative.

The location was very central and convenient at the heart of the Medina. It was very quiet. The terrasse was also lovely. The beds were very comfortable. The breakfast was delicious and the staff (Karim, Abdullah and the ladies in charge of the kitchen) couldn't have been more attentive and helpful. The owner, who was abroad at the time, even gave us a courtesy phone call to see if everything was fine with our stay at the Riad, a nice touch.

Remember, don't use google maps to navigate in Essaouira. Especially to find this Riad. Give 20 to guy with luggage trolley on the parking and enjoy first walk.

Staff was so friendly! We gained advices, and tea, and good breakfast. Our room on the roof was big, clean and beautiful. I wonder why they don't have good photos on booking. We found everything more colorfull and comfortable as they show.

The hosts were extremely welcoming and very helpful. The provided breakfast was very good. The riad itself is very pretty, and the terrace was lovely. We were able to leave our luggage with them as we explored the area, too.

The only problem is to get heavy travel bags upstairs, no lift in the old building. But this is a common problem for most the properties in the Medina (old city center)

Rooftop itself is nice, but the views from there are nothing special. Some books were available in the main room, unfortunately all in French - looked very interesting and would have read if some were also in English.

Located in a quiet alley, just a minutes' walk from the main street. Nice interiors, using tadelact and local decorations. Good recommendations for restaurants and hammam. Just a few rooms in the riad.

Room was a bit dark

Beautiful Riad in a quiet alleyway just of the main street in Essaouira. Staff were attentive and provided a yummy breakfast each morning accommodating the taste of our children. A beautiful sitting room by the fire downstairs and courtyard with a fountain.

No eggs for breakfast Brits do love their eggs… v minor issue. The single bed in a triple room are very small…as they generally are in Morocco - more like an afterthought so the Riad’s ideal for couples or a couple with child.

Beautiful stylish Riad in an excellent central but quiet location. Karim is an excellent, efficient and conscientious host who makes sure everything runs smoothly. The bath tub was AMAZING and a rare and welcome treat. Book the Berber suite - it’s lush…. Wonderfully calm and stylish.

We were charged twice - once through booking.com and once by the property which wasn't ideal.

The rooftop terrace is gorgeous. The building is so beautifully decorated and Karim is a lovely host. We got our own key to the building which was useful. Lovely breakfast. Location is right in the heart of things but perfectly peaceful.

I suggest that the Riad begin to offer yoga classes or something for guests to enjoy to terrace and spaces to their fullest.

What a warm and welcoming Riad! The manager, Karim, was the perfect host and able to provide loads of information about Essaouira, as well as helping to get my luggage repaired. The owner just happened to be there and was also incredibly welcoming. The Riad is both traditional and modern and the same time. Beautiful tile work throughout. Plenty of sunny escapes on the upper terrace or on the ground floor, with a small fireplace. Our room was particularly comfortable with a spa-like bathroom and sitting area, besides the large bed. Love it!. A great location and wonderful staff!

Great host who went out of his way to show me a few areas for lunch. Property was clean and comfy. Only ding is no AC. I know you are on the coast but it's still warm. That's really person dependent as I am a cold sleeper. I would def recommend and stay here again. Breakfast was good also on the terrace

A gorgeous stay here! The riad is beautifully decorated and had a lot of charm. Staff were super friendly - a special thanks to Kareem for all your help with everything and making us feel welcome 😊. Location was perfect, right in the heart of the medina, though still away from all the noise. Breakfast was good and they catered for my dietary requirements. Would definitely stay again if I am ever in Essaouira!
