Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

Everything was perfect! Mikael and Guido were exceptionally friendly and helpful, providing us with so many useful tips and recommendations. The staff at the Riad were wonderful, always greeting you with a smile. The Riad is beautiful, very quiet, spotlessly clean and with stunning decor. Our room was spacious and comfortable with a stunning bathroom. The location is super central - ideal for Souks, Palaces and Restaurants. Breakfast was delicious too!

If you go to Marrekech then you should stay at Les Nuits. Guido and Michel, the hotel proprietors, are amazing hosts and take all the stress away from arriving into this vibrant, chaotic and colourful place. Airport transfers, restaurant bookings, anything we needed they provided. A wonderful breakfast on the roof terrace in the morning sunshine was just the antidote to the cold UK winter! This is a traditional Riad - do not expect modern hotel trimmings. That said, it provides the perfect oasis, beautifully decorated and with lovely big bedrooms and bathrooms and such polite and helpful staff. Highly recommended.

United Stateswe can't remember anything that we didn't really like, maybe the bathroom size and facility was not as great as a 5-star hotel, but this is a Riad, an authentic local living style, we can't complain about it.
the balcony/rooftop is fabulous. it is very relaxing to enjoy the breakfast and sunshine in the same time at such a well designed, quiet and home feeling area.

United KingdomThere is nothing we felt would have made it better
Tucked away in a quiet lane within the Medina, we are really pleased we picked this Riad for our three night visit to Marrakech. It is perfectly located in the Medina for access to all the different areas and sites of interest from the souks to the palaces and gardens and just a minute or two from the main square, Jemaa El-Fna. Yet despite this, when you are in the Riad it is perfect tranquillity with a beautifully calm atmosphere that is the perfect contrast to the hustle and bustle of the markets. Starting from when we arrived at the airport, our taxi was arranged for us and brought us to the main square where another gentlemen with a barrow took us and our cases to the Riad front door (there are no cars allowed). We were shown around the riad and our room then offered tea and a snack while Michael gave us all the vital information we needed to enjoy our stay from how to get the right price for a taxi to all the best places to visit (no guide needed) including restaurants which they booked for us every evening. They even took us out on foot to ensure we knew exactly how to navigate the area and get back again to the Riad. Starting in the warmth of the rising sun with a fabulous breakfast on the roof top was a great way to start the day, and to end, back on the roof terrace among the orange trees for a well-earned beer or vin gris after all the walking and before heading out again for one the restaurants recommended by Michael and Guido, all of which were great choices. Always on hand for whatever is needed, the hospitality at the Riad Les Nuits is exceptional. We would have no hesitation in staying here again and cannot speak highly enough of the amazing hosting from Michael, Guido and their excellent team.

DenmarkOur room was very nice size and decorated beautifully, only problem was the bed, which had a mattress not suiting our bodies somehow. It was a good firm quality, but somehow our backs seemed unable to rest properly on it.
Breakfast was served on the lovely rooftop balcony and was amazing with fruits, good coffee and Morroccan style bread and toppings. The Riad is located very close to the main square of Marrakech. The two owners are super friendly and helpful and provided excellent service and gave super valuable input to the local culture, to restaurants etc. We could not aske for better hosts in this cozy, stylish and beautiful riad. We just loved our stay there.

IrelandNothing really. If I was to be very picky a coffee maker in the room would have made it completely perfect, but would probably detract from the traditional vibe they have carefully cultivated and maintained.
This Riad is special. The hosts Guido and Mickael were amazing from the time we booked until we left. It was our first time visiting Marrakesh and the insider information that they give you on arrival is invaluable. The Riad is beautifully restored and every effort has been made to maintain it's original features. The Riad is in the heart of the Medina, within easy reach of Marrakesh's famous square Jamaa el Fna and offers an oasis of calm away from the hustle and bustle of Marrakesh. Breakfast was included and served on the roof terrace. There is a beautiful traditional plunge pool in the central courtyard for cooling off in the warmer weather. Guido was able to recommend restaurants at night for us and even called to make the booking. On our last day he also booked a taxi to the airport for us and arranged for someone to help us with our luggage. The staff were all so helpful, nothing was too much bother. We would definitely recommend this Riad to anyone planning a trip to Marrakesh.

The hosts were very kind and helpful in making the most of the time we were there from arranging pick up at the airport to personally walking us to the restaurant on the first night while we got our bearings. Beautifully authentic Riad that at times we felt like we had to ourselves while staying with several other couples as it had many communal areas you felt a nice level of privacy. Looking forward to coming again in the near future.

United StatesNo negatives. I would note though, that like essentially all medina riads the focus is on the interior so do not expect an outside view. Also as is typical, there is no elevator/lift, so stairs are unavoidable.
This is a beautiful riad in the heart of the medina of Marrakech. The owners, Guido and Mikael, are exceptionally service-oriented and their staff likewise - from arranging baggage cart transport across the Jemaa El Fna (no cars in the medina) to airport transfers to restaurant reservations. A wonderful stay.

United KingdomOur first trip to Morocco and this was the perfect way to start. For a reasonable price the riad can collect you from the airport and arrange your baggage to be taken through the medina. Guido and Mickael are perfect hosts spending time to find out what their guests want from their stay in thier beautiful riad. It's remarkably quiet given the hustle and bustle around you and a glorious roof terrce for a sundowner.

This riad couldn't have been any more tranquil, and beautiful. It was a lovely sanctuary away from the hustle and bustle of the medina, with every little detail of the archicture giving a gorgeous handmade Moroccan experience. It smells like a spa when you walk through the door and you are immediately relaxed and at ease. The two hosts made our trip super easy by providing us with tips and recommendations as well as booking restaurants for us. They made our trip completely stress free. Thank you for having us, making this stay special and for allowing our friend who didn't book accommodation to come and join for breakfast. The breakfasts are so tasty and presented beautifully. The staff are really friendly and polite. We couldn't have wished for a better experience.

IndonesiaWe had a wonderful stay at Riad les Nuits. Guido and Mickael were incredibly friendly and helpful, recommending places to go, and booking lovely restaurants for us. They also booked us a great local hammam spa experience. I would definitely recommend pre-booking your taxi/transfer from the airport with them as it would be very hard to find by yourself. It’s hidden away down a couple of quiet side streets but once you get your bearings the location is excellent and close to all of the main areas in the medina. The Riad is beautiful and has been restored to a very high standard. It was so peaceful it was a welcome retreat from the busy streets in the medina. My favourite time was late afternoon when we’d relax on the rooftop after a busy day in the souks. The breakfasts were incredible and the staff were very friendly. I would definitely recommend staying there.

United StatesIt's a little scary at first trying to walk to the riad, but after a day you'll know the way and be comfortable with it.
Comfortable rooms and incredible hospitality. This was a great place to stay. They even went out to get us some traditional soup to try for our breakfast. Guido and Michael were great hosts. Our only regret was that we had planned every moment of our trip prior to arriving with a tour guide that we hired. We didn't have time to try some of Guido's suggestions. I guess we'll have to go back. Write this review a bit late as the earthquake made me think of Guido and Michael. Hope you guys are OK and thoughts and prayers go out to those impacted by the disaster.
