Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

Spainour suite was on the ground floor so privacy was rather in short supply. we could hear everything that went on in the lobby, and no doubt vice versa.
it was truly one of the best locations we stayed at during our 10 day tour of Morocco, with Lots of attention to detail, from the toilet paper to the breakfast.

LuxembourgWe didn’t manage to have hot water on in the shower.. although we didn’t contact the reception because it was late and we were tired. Also the room is very noisy, you can hear everything is happening in the riad, but that is common in most of riads with an interior courtyard and no insulation.
The Riad is beautiful!! It is very nice and authentic. The bed pillows and blankets were very comfortable! The location is nice, (but the cars dont get inside the Medina, so we had to walk for about 10min with the big luggages on the narrow streets)

United KingdomWe had the suite, and we couldn't get WiFi in one of the 2 rooms. Not really a problem.
The hosts were very welcoming and helpful. Delightful surroundings with a lovely terrace. Breakfast was delicious. Very well situated. All in all, a lovely experience.

ItalyThe mattress was a little too soft for me but that's a personal preference. There wasn't much room at the side of the bed which made me think it would have been better as a single room rather than a double. The beautifully carved, solid wood furniture made the room rather dark and damp though I appreciate this is probably welcome in the summer months.
A tranquil, finely and tastefully decorated Riad in the Medina. Every corner is a delight. Breakfast is good, with fresh fruit and yoghurt among other things. It's clean and the bed linen is of the highest quality.

CanadaWe stayed for two weeks at Florent's riad (myself, my husband, our two children age 7 & 9, and my mother) and we highly enjoyed our time both in Rabat and at this riad. Florent, the owner was welcoming, checking in with us each day and helpful in making sure we enjoyed our stay. The riad is in a great location in the medina, walkable to most places, the only time we needed a taxi was to go to the zoo and to the exotic gardens. Our room was well set up for five people and was very clean and quiet. The breakfast was delicious and plentiful, and there was many little spots throughout the riad to set up for us to homeschool our children. The staff working at the riad really made the stay for us, they were so lovely and welcoming, treating us and especially our children like family, and willing to help out with anything we asked over our two week stay. We would definitely recommend this riad to others and would stay here again if ever back in Rabat.

RomaniaOn our arrival we've had a very warm welcome from the owner. The room we have stayed in was spacious and beautifully decorated. From the ground floor to the rooftop terrace, the whole building had recently been redone, but keeping the Moroccan style. The breakfast was simple, but so very delicious, with homemade yogurt, jam and nut butter on fluffy beghrir. Rosa, the cat would keep us company on the terrace while enjoying our breakfast. The location was great, quite, while also in great proximity of food stalls and souks. Would definitely recommend and stay here again!

United KingdomOur room was just under the little room on the rooftop where juices are blended in the morning, which meant that we couldn't have a lie in (but this forced us to enjoy our days!) Our AC wasn't working on the first night, but there was a fan. Workers came to fix the AC on the second day and from then on it worked like a charm. Lots of wasps around the honey and jam in the morning on every table (but "they don't sting") Staff was efficient but not as welcoming as the other riads we stayed at.
Excellent location. Loved all the plants, the friendly cat (Rosa) and the riad is well decorated overall. The rooftop terrace is the perfect place to get breakfast and to read in peace later in the day. There was a clear effort to maintain traditional architecture and style, with modern amenities. Delicious, fresh food provided every morning and the owner (Florent) came to introduce himself and was here every day to talk to guests and ensure we were all happy.

Czech RepublicEverything was as it should be.
Location - it's in the centre of the medina, well marked with arrows and a sign. Upon arrival, the staff will welcome you in the lobby, accommodate you and offer Moroccan tea. The staff is very nice and helpful. We had a Chellah apartment, which consists of two large bedrooms with bathroom and toilet, there is an electric kettle and hairdryer. There is enough space for the whole family. Original accessories make you feel like in a fairy tale of a thousand and one nights. Breakfast takes place on the terrace, which you can use to relax during the day. Breakfast is generous: tea, coffee, cocoa, pressed orange juice, Moroccan specialties like melouwi, baghrir, but also French baguette. Staying in this beautiful and cared-for riad is an exceptional travel experience!

Saudi ArabiaWater bottles in the room would have been appreciated. There was a problem closing the bathroom door and there was a bad smell coming from the bath room, which the cleaning staff tried to fix, but it didn't go away.
A lovely traditional Riad in the upper level of a three star hotel. The staff is very helpful and friendly. A nice breakfast is served at the rooftop with a magnificent view.

LOVED staying here. The room was really beautiful and the rooftop was breathtaking. Mr. Hisham was very helpful and friendly, the breakfast and coffee were all great. We also met the owner and we talked about multiple topics, it is interesting that he and his family used to live here before turning it into a guest hotel. I wish I had more time to stay, I will definitely come back again.
