No big issues. There is a construction in the area so the entrance requires a walk past a few building sites. I’m sure if will be beautiful when finished. Room had kettle but no cups. Fortunately had acquired one in Safi the pottery capital of Morocco the previous day :-) Like many Riads the shower is in with the toilet. My room was missing a shower door so if it was shared you’d need to be very good friends.

Good location with sea views. Just a few minutes from the Medina entrance and Main Street. A very comfortable modern Riad with excellent staff. Mohammed is a super guy. Essaouira is such a great town too.

We liked everything about it ! Mohammed welcomed us with hot tea and was so kind and helpful, and responsive. The Riad is located at the Medina , very central , but also close to the exit of Medina, you need to walk 3 mins to exit. Just 1 street above the beach and you can hear the waves of the ocean. There are always kind security guards next doors and it’s very safe. The Riad has nice modern taste of oriental and seaside style. The rooms are very clean, as well as the bathroom. We had beautiful ocean view. The breakfast was home made and delicious. The stuff super friendly and kind as well as the owner. There is television with many programs to relax if you want. The temperature of the room pleasant with fluffy pillows and cover. The room was stylish and clean. What makes this Riad special is the heart of the people running it. They re so kind and they do things with their heart, totally worth the 10 ! They go the extra mile so that you feel welcome.

We liked everything ! Mohammed was so welcoming, offered to us tea and helped us so much. The Riad is located at the Medina , just 1 road from the sea with beautiful view. But also close to the exit of Medina so you only need to walk 3 mins to exit. It’s also very safe as there are security guards next doors that are very kind. We had ocean view and we could hear the waves 🌊The rooms are totally renovated and clean and look as beautiful as the reception. The breakfast was home made and delicious. The room is very clean, with good temperature, with a very nice taste of decoration, oriental and seaside style. There are fluffy pillows and cover. The television has many programs if you want to relax. The bathroom also very clean with rejuvenating aromatic soaps. The stuff super kind and helpful, as nice as the boss. I don’t have enough words to describe our experience, we loved it and if we came back again to Essaouira we definitely come back. They put more effort than is expected and they totally worth the 10.

I missed a hook or rafter to hang the towels during or after showering.

It was only 1-2 min walk to the medinas main street and just behind the city walls, with a nice walk along the walls to the port (10 min) and to the beach (15-20min). Beautifully decorated and very quiet, I felt like being in a fairy tale centuries back but with modern elements of luxury. A very spacious room and a good shower. At first I was a bit disappointed not having a window for fresh air (being at the sea side!) Nor having a sea view. And the glas window to the inner court won't open. But still the air within the room was fresh all the time and the amazing breakfast (one of the best we had in Morocco), the atmosphere and extremely polite and helping staff compensated for this, so I would stay there again next time.

Genuinely can not fault it

The breakfast was delicious and homemade in house. The room was large, comfortable with beautiful art work and brand new fixtures and fittings. Excellent satellite TV too. There was amazing roof top views over the beach and sea. Everything is so near by and a walking distance. There is amazing restaurants and cafes near by. Beautiful walks along the beach and relaxing walks through the streets. The hotel is also 7 min walk away from the coach station. We travelled from Marrakesh. The staff were so helpful and kind. Mohammed and Mehdi went above and beyond.

The personnel was full of good intentions and were trying their best to help, but I would say they need a bit of improvement in terms of their language skills (speaking both in English and French, there were quite a few misunderstandings unfortunately). Also (although this is not the Riad's fault, but something to take into consideration), the buildings across the street were being renovated during our stay and it might not have seemed "welcoming" at first glance. Lastly, the rooftop terrace would need a bit of daily cleaning. It was very dusty when we went up there.

The hotel was newly renovated and in great condition. The size of the room was good. We were quite happy to get a room in spite reserving at the last moment. The personnel were trying their best to help us out. Breakfast was huge and very much appreciated.

Great location, with easy walking distance of everything in Essaouira, the staff were so lovely and helpful and even moved us to the ocean suite room for our second night which had superb views of the ocean

It was windy during our stay in February, and some sand could pass through the ocean view window. But this is minor thing. There is also construction work in front of the riad, but you may not look down and still see the city wall and the sea.

The ocean view was fantastic! There was also a rooftop terrace. The staff helped a lot: early breakfast, arranging transfer to the airport, printing boarding passes..

Mohamed And Mehdi from the staff are very friendly and welcoming. The roof is a great and quit relaxing place. The rooms are clean and comfortable! The location is great! It is the heart of Medina close to everything. Will definitely return here on our next trip To Essaouira

Mohamed who manages the Riad really takes care of you. Breakfast was lovely and rooms were superb. The view of the sea was magical. Definitely recommend having Moroccan tea on the terrace stunning. Location was perfect near the beach, shops, restaurants and everything in walking distance. We as three women felt extremely safe in Essaouira it’s a very calm and peaceful place. No one bothers you and you are left to enjoy the sights. Listening to the waves whilst you sleep is a tranquil experience. Mohammed manager is a great guy who will help you with anything and he speaks so many languages he really works hard to ensure his guests have magnificent experience. They have police officer and a soldier guarding the outside premises as that just happens to be there spot where they work and they are there 24/7 and there is no trouble at all they are there as that is their area they look after but it makes you feel even more safe. Definitely recommend this Riad and will return soon.

There is no access to the beach on that side of Essaouira. There is extensive demolition around the Riad but at the moment it is not being redeveloped and very quiet.

Manager and cleaner/ cook were delightful. Great sea view from room and terrace. Only noise we could hear was the noise of the waves. Freshly squeezed orange juice for breakfast.

I really don’t enjoy having the toilet and the shower combined. One of my pet peeves is wet feet (unless I’m taking a shower, of course.) and it may be looked like the rugs could use a vacuum/wash.

Spacious room, comfy bed, Really nice breakfast and pleasant staff. I enjoyed the terrace although the construction mess between the Riad and the beach is a little distracting. Good location for all of the restaurants and walking through Medina. Short walk to the Rampart and waterfront. Short walk from the Supratours bus.

The staff - mehdi, Mohamed & Yousra - all went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and well taken care of from the room of choice to the breakfast to the courteous gestures.

Mohammed was the perfect host: knowledgeable, polite, friendly and fun. He upgraded us to the sea view room and carried our luggage to the taxi. The view from the sea view room was fabulous. The room was very clean. The breakfast was imperial. Will no stay at anywhere else in Essaouira.

My stay was perfect. Not only the riad is beautiful and has an amazing sea view, but also the staff is excellent. They were very polite and helpful. I even was feeling sick during my stay and they took care of me bringing medicine and food to my room.

This Riad was a very nice surprise awaiting us , the place is situated in the old Medina but it turned to be completely renovated to hotel service facility. Mohamed the front-desk officer was very friendly and upgraded our room to oceanfront suite , he gave us helpful information about the important landmarks in the city and offered his time to us if we needed help when we were out sightseeing. Mehdi was an amazing , he went out of his way walking us to the nearby market and helping us with the luggage until we reached the taxi station to go back to the bus station. Somaya prepared the amazing breakfast including freshly squeezed orange juice, different Moroccan bakeries , crepes , omelette , coffee and tea , all was freshly made and Mehdi delivered the fresh fruits and bread early from the market to the Riad. Mohamed was again great help during our stay
