Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United StatesThe food was delicious but it was very expensive.
The property is absolutely beautiful! It’s a perfect example of Moroccan architecture and felt luxurious. It’s also in a great location - it’s just inside the medina, so it’s easy walking distance to the souks and historical sites, but it’s also very easily accessible from the main road so there’s no fear of getting lost or inconvenience with having to walk far with luggage. The food was delicious, very fresh and traditional. But the staff were what really set this place apart - they were so kind and helpful and just went above and beyond to make our stay even better. We would definitely come back!

Batoul and the whole staff was incredibly kind and welcoming. The property is beautiful and the staff went above and beyond in making us feel comfortable. The tour of the Medina that they offered was SUCH a highlight and the perfect way to start our stay. Out of all of the riads we stayed at in Morocco, this was by far the best!!

United KingdomAll the tours available through the riad were unnecessarily expensive (private tours only), the dinner options were all set menu, again very expensive.
Beautiful riad, very well located for exploring the medina but also easy to grab a taxi, get cash, from the main street. Lots of restaurants around. Batoul was amazing, very helpful.

United StatesTruthfully, I liked everything about it. No complaints.
Riad Moulaydriss et Giacomo was just beautiful. The location is excellent as it is close to the Medina wall making it easy to get in and out with luggage. Even though we were on a high floor, the staff took all of our luggage up which was great. The rooms were comfortable, quiet and lovely The real bonus to staying here is the hostess - Batoul. She took care of everything. We had a few things set up ahead of time and I wished I had let her handle it. Fez is complicated and she made it easy. Breakfast was great. We unfortunately did not have a chance to eat dinner there.

NetherlandsWe loved everything
We loved everything. The Riad is sublime, stylish, and the location is the best, very easy to locate - which is important in the old medina of Fes. The staff is very professional, and this adds to the feeling of being in an elegant 5 stars hotel. We loved drinking tea in the riad’s patio. Thanks a lot to all the staff and to the manager of the riad, we had a lovely holiday and we’ll be back for sure, inshallah! We’ve visited many Riads in Fes and this was the most beautiful. I fully recommend it!

United StatesThis was our favorite Riad in Morocco. Batoul and her staff were extremely friendly and accommodating and helpful. Great location! Great breakfasts and dinner! We were lucky enough to stay there on our trip back from The Sahara for one more night! Beds were super comfortable! 10/10 for cleanliness! Would highly recommend this Riad if traveling to Fes. We felt very lucky to have experienced Morocco and its wonderful culture and people through Batoul, her dad and the staff! Thank you!!!

United StatesThere isn’t anything significant I could complain about.
The riad was fairly easy to find. Upon arrival, we were very warmly welcomed by the staff. The courtyard is beautiful and the welcome team was a perfect way to relax after a long travel day. The rooms were impressive with tall ceilings, comfy beds, and beautiful decoration. Clean bathrooms and shower that was stocked with body wash and shampoo. Well air conditioned. Very nearby is a bank, post drop off, pharmacy, bar, and convenience stores. Don’t miss the opportunity to take the tour of the Medina and to the ceramics co-op. Our guide was excellent! Another must not miss is the rooftop dinner. Fantastic assortment of local salads, crazy good dessert, and I had the pastilla which was incredible. Thank you for a fantastic stay!

United StatesIt was great for me! The only note I’ll give as an FYI (since I didn’t have an issue) is there is not an elevator, so the stairs are the only option. There are rooms downstairs if you need.
After a long travel day, the riad is an oasis. You’re welcomed with tea as you start your stay with them , and receive the best service while you’re there. My bedroom gorgeous, with a comfy bed (firm but not a brick, super comfortable) and air conditioning. Bathroom was lovely and the shower had great water pressure. Food was delicious, experience was great. Outside the stay, their guide through the Medina was perfect! Later on I asked a friend who lives in Fes about him, and he said the man is a legend. It showed! The whole staff and woman who manages it were a delight, will be recommending to friends and family who want to come to Fes.

MexicoThe location is great. You can quickly grab a taxi (less than 2 minutes) and you can quickly be in the center of the Medina. The famous Blue Gate and Bou Inania Medersa are also very close. The space is beautifully restored. The central patio is beautiful and so are the rooms and the rooftop. The staff is amazing, always attentive and helpful. The food is delicious, Batoul and her team know how to cook. Their food (especially dinner) is probably, hands down, in the top three of all we had in all of Morocco.

The staff welcomed us with smiles and an excellent service. Both Ali and Abdul Haq were excellent and attentive. We were treated to mint tea and exquisite pastries upon arrival. Check in was seamless (they checked us in early without charge). The rooms were lovely and clean. The building is very new and there is attention to every artistic detail. The courtyard of the riad is absolutely stunning and we thoroughly enjoyed our breakfasts in serene and beautiful surroundings. Breakfast was amazing.
