Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

FranceThe description of the room in Booking did not correspond to the room we first had. We pointed it out and got a room that matched better the description.
The entire riad is gorgeous, decorated with taste by Malika and her family. We were treated like royalty paying attention to all our requests. Malika personally baked a gluten free cake for my breakfast!! Thanks as well to all the staff, they made our two last days in Morocco quite special.

Heaven on earth! Our room was in the second floor with access to a balcony that overlooked the city and the small bur beautiful pool. The staff (who treat all guests like family) greeted us with a delicious dinner (although we arrived late) and a beautiful breakfast overlooking a garden with turtles. They even washed and prepared the fruit that we bought at the market. Could not recommend more! And Asilah is a gem.

IrelandNot a dislike, but information for other travellers - we had a triple room for three adults and the single bed was a mattress on the floor; but it was comfortable, and not a problem for me.
The riad was very clean, neat and tidy. Yusuf was extremely friendly and helpful, even making us tea on arrival back to the riad after dinner. Rida helped us with our bags from outside the medina, to the riad. Breakfast was very good. Communication from Mariam over Whatsapp was excellent - she was readily available, gave us the option to have dinner at the riad, and also gave restaurant recommendations.

United StatesThe riad is in a good location in the medina. The decor is beautiful and comfortable. My bed was very comfortable, with nice sheets. I ate dinner at the riad, and the food for breakfast and dinner was exceptionally good. The staff is friendly and very helpful. I liked them all and thoroughly enjoyed my stay. The riad organized a driver, Abdul, for pickup and return to Tangier. Abdul is friendly and prompt. He walked me to the riad and made sure I was picked up by my riad in Tangier. I recommend him.

Germany-
This place is simply amazing. We were warmly welcomed at a fire place with tea and cookies. All the staff is very friendly, considerate and personal. The food is highly recommended and plenty, we ate there almost every evening and had very nice, diverse breakfasts. You don't feel like being in a hotel, but more like in a beautifully decorated home. The rooms are simple and have everything you need. The garden, terrace, pool and rooftop with a view over the old city and the ocean are magnificent so it's actually hard to even leave. The old city of Asilah is quite beautiful and the Riad is in a quiet corner.

United StatesWe especially liked our room, which was the "twin room with terrace," and which had windows and a door onto our own outdoor terrace. Breakfast was very nice in a beautiful outdoor courtyard. The location is great, inside the medina. It's a close walk to the medina's "Krikia" with great views of the ocean and sunset. (Actually Asilah's medina is so small, pretty much everything is close by.) The riad arranged Abdul's taxi service for us twice, and we'd recommend him. He's a safe driver and gave us good tips for Asilah and Chefchaouen using his good English.

United KingdomNothing comes to mind.
From the welcome to the goodbyes there was little to fault. We really felt at home. Lazing by the plunge pool was a highlight as were the excellent meals in the evening. The courtyard garden with the entertaining tortoises is really an oasis. So much care has gone into the decor and artwork. If you want an authentic Riad experience this is the best Asilah has to offer. Special mention to Abdul the taxi driver who picked us up at 4am due to flight delay. Finally thanks to the Oasis team; Khalid, Malika, Mariam, Marouane, Yusef and the ladies who keep everything running.

United StatesThe only downside is the heat. It was great to have a fan in the room, however, a ceiling fan would have been even better! Daily dips in the pool definitely helped combat the heat.
Upon arrival, the first thing you notice when you walk into the Riad Oasis D'Asilah is that it is beautifully and tastefully decorated in the main areas, as well as in our room. So many fun details, gorgeous art, comfortable beds and seating, and amazing Moroccan decor. The entire staff were friendly, helpful and warm. Everyone went out of their way to make sure we were well taken care of, including getting us a great driver, Abdul, who got us to and from the airport and also took us to the beach another day. He is knowledgeable about the area and a lovely and fun person. The food at the Riad Oasis D'Asilah is incredible. We were blown away by the authentic Moroccan cuisine at dinner. We enjoyed the chef's cooking so much we didn't dine elsewhere during our stay because we wanted to see what the chef would cook up for us! Breakfast was included each day, and it was a very full, complete, and delicious meal that kept us full all day. We can't thank Mariam, Marwan, Yosef, and everyone else enough for making our stay enjoyable.

AustriaIt was way too expensive and the breakfast was a bit boring (3 different kinds of crepe but no fruit or vegetable). The room was really hot (but there was a fan available).
The pool was clean and the room really clean and spacious. Also the staff was so kind and you can see that they really enjoy working there!! Also the Riad has a perfect location in the Medina of Asilah!

United StatesThe only thing that was inconvenient was that the wifi didn’t work in the bedroom or on the terrace where I was hoping to use it to plan my travels.
I had an amazing experience here at Oasis. It was my birthday present to treat myself after traveling on a budget for and I couldn’t have picked a better place to relax and treat myself. The whole hotel is beautifully decorated with art and tasteful furniture, has an amazing dipping pool with shade, and many different outdoor sitting areas. The riad is well located in the Medina so it’s very walkable but also very quiet and peaceful. Amazing sunset views from the terrace, delicious breakfasts and dinners, and the staff was all very friendly and welcoming. Marouan and Nadir went out of their way to ensure I had a nice stay and I was very grateful for their hospitality. They were super attentive and made me feel at home, always super friendly and wanting to help. The owners were also very welcoming and accommodated me in every way possible. The hammam they recommended was also incredible - best massage I’ve ever had. The dinners there were fresh, tasty, and generous so definitely go for those. Thank you Oasis staff for making my time in Asilah special
