Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

ItalyThe riad is beautifully furnished, it's modern and elegant but also with a traditional Moroccan touch. From the riad it's easy to reach both the Medina and a main road reachable by the airport shuttle and day-tour pickup. We stayed 4 nights in this riad and it was all wonderful. Our room was nice, spacious and clean. The breakfast was very rich. We also booked the dinner twice at the riad, the tajine was really tasty. The most special part of the riad is the staff. Nour gave us many useful tips and was always available to help when we were in need. This was particularly reassuring for turistis traveling in a unknown country. Ayoub and Akita were very caring and always with a smile on their face. We will remember this trip for a long time 😊.

BelgiumNone to mention. If there's one thing we can think of: Breakfast was lovely, but after a few nights it became a liiiiitle repetitive. A few extra variations in the breakfast options would not hurt!
We had a wonderful stay at Dar S'BAH. The room was comfortable and gave us the escape and rest we needed from a busy city centre. We particularly enjoyed the open court of the center of the riad, a rare nugget to be found in Fez (most riads have closed roofs now). We went during Ramadan and Eid, yet Nour, Atika and Ayoub always made sure we had the options for food and excursions during this special time of the year. We very much appreciated their flexibility - and made us feel right at home in this charming Riad. Traveling during Ramadan to Fez is certainly doable, thanks to these amazing people! Communication with Nour went really well (through Whatsapp mostly). Whether it was related to tours, food options and shuttles to the airport. Everything went according to plan - and Nour's spontaneity was always a positive asset to our moments of planning! Ayoub's smile and warmth at the Riad, and Atika's amazingly prepared dishes (try the beef stew with plums tajine!) were wonderful - it's in these little gestures that add up to an unforgettable experience.

Romaniathe stay at S'bah was very ok. it has a good position in the medina and besides, it is very close to a parking lot in case of traveling by car. what was wonderful about this riad was the staff, especially Nour. Every riad in Morocco should have a Nour. He helped us tremendously, a fact for which we are grateful to her and at the same time at S'bah we ate the best Moroccan tagines. I recommend with confidence.

FranceCharming Riad in the Medina . Super nice staff . What made the biggest difference in our stay was Nour the manager, who took the time to share info about the Medina and activities, made recommendations and even reservations for us . She is so nice . Highly recommend .

GreeceWhat an amazing place to spend your nights in Fez. This magnificent riad is newly renovated, it is cozy and clean. The rooms are huge making the experience the best in Morocco . At the time of our stay we were the only guests and we enjoyed it so much. The breakfast was delicious while the communication with the host was very efficient. Nour is a gem and she gave us a warm welcome! Very easy to reach since the closest parking lot is only two minutes on foot. It is at the beginning of the Fez's Medina. Great value for money. If we ever come back we will definitely stay here again!

We had an unforgettable experience at this charming Dar in the heart of Fes' bustling medina. The room was not only comfortable but also clean, providing a peaceful retreat after exploring the vibrant streets. Every morning we started the day with a cozy breakfast beneath the light blue sky: the home had a very special and free-spirited atmosphere due to its open construction. What truly sets this place apart is the exceptional hospitality: the manager's flexibility, great support and warmth, along with the welcoming nature of the entire staff, made us feel like cherished guests throughout our stay. If you're seeking an authentic experience filled with comfort, kindness, and culture, this Dar is the ideal choice and we would love to come back soon again!

NetherlandsTo us this place lacked a bit of warm ambiance. Maybe it was because the riad is so new, that it felt as if the place lacked a soul or history, especially compared with the other riads where we stayed during our holiday. Also, the riad is not yet findable on Google Maps or on Maps.me so this makes it difficult to find it, and you are depending on staff to pick you up somewhere and this made us as independant travellers a bit uneasy.
The riad is brand new and the rooms and bathroom are spacious. The staff was friendly!
