Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United KingdomGuests put their towels on all the beds very early in the morning - 6.30-7am. A few of the guests then leave their towels until they use them in the afternoon. Presumably they have gone out for the morning or have gone to the beach, Beach is a lovely wide sandy beach but ruined by the amount of plastic that gets washed up (and vegetables!). We saw a dead sea turtle too. The staff were hit and miss. Some serving staff were smiley but many were quite rude even though no-one had been rude to them. They also move you from one table to another for no reason at all (possibly favourite guest wants the table!). Food was goodish, def not the worst I've had. Not everyone will like the bedroom toilet door which is louvred. You can't see in but you can certainly hear everything so you may as well be standing in there - no privacy at all. Also when booking, request that you are nowhere near the disco or even the reception as quite noisy. Disco is very noisy. Met someone who had to move when Ramadan was over and the disco started up again. Lift is not to be relied on! Upper floors are better as some rooms looked as if they were slightly below ground level.
The size of the bedrooms were good. The shower also worked well and there was plenty of hot water. Nice big balcony. The swimming pools were both lovely and were fresh water, not salty. Both cooled off whilst we were there in April, even though it was hot outside, so were refreshing! Warm enough to get in though. Beach view ground floor rooms were on ground level and had 2 sunbeds outside them. Balconies had a table and 2 chairs and some connected with the next door room by opening the gate between them. Good for us as we had 2 rooms. Didn't connect in the room, just balcony which was great for us.

United KingdomAt first we were given a room at level -1 It had a terrace which was on a footpath and no private We looked up to people sitting round the pool. The door angle was broken so not secure and there was no bottled water. We were given another room which was much better. But it was a disappointing start.

United KingdomFood bit samey. French guests def got better service (brush up on your French!) gym didn’t open until 9 and closed at 5 (ridiculous) Nightly entertainment a bit naff (pretend Moroccan wedding no thanks). Not enough sun loungers and ran out of pool towels. Sun loungers old and with massive bum-dips in them - not comfy. Reception bit clueless about local stuff like opening hours but we did go in Ramadan. Spa nice but expensive compared to local ones (we had 90mins for 350 including taxi ride compared to 700 for 1 hour in hotel) and they don’t wash towels between massages - it was oily and smelt of sweat GROSS!! 🤢.
Good size, clean, big rooms, on the beach /sea view. Decent enough food & drink offering across 4 restaurants. Nice pool with swim up bar. Can walk down beach promenade to Agadir marina. Some staff super lovely. Others a bit dismissive. Close to airport (30mins taxi 200dH)

United KingdomOur room was incredibly noisy - we had the hotel lobby on one side where the entertainment went on until 11, then we were above a bar/club that had loud music until 1 and then a club across the road until 4am! When I mentioned this to reception staff we were unable to move and I had to buy ear plugs from the pharmacy down the road. The food in the buffet restaurant was plentiful but only okay. If you didn't arrive at the start of the serving period it was hard to find a table that was set and to get cutlery and drinks.
The pool area was stunning with loads of seating and sun beds. The beach was nice and it was a really relaxing stay. We ate in the Morrocan restaurant one evening and that was a really nice meal. Our flight was late in the evening and we were allowed to stay in the hotel and use all the facilities until late, which was great.

United KingdomReception and some of the waiters were rude. We had several issues and they were not apologetic at all. We were given a noisy room above bar, basically there was nowhere quiet to go in the evening! They changed it to a better room halfway through our stay.
Location. Some staff were great. Hassan was amazing, did lots of classes with him. There was a waiter at lunch who was very polite and a lady in the bar who was great.

United KingdomThe beach isn’t that great (there’s a lot of rubbish on it like condoms which was a bit disgusting) so even though we did a few beach walks we never swam in the sea as we were worried about contamination of the water. That’s not the property’s fault though. Also our room’s wardrobes smelt of urine for some reason. Not sure why but we had to keep our wardrobe doors open. The restaurants weren’t very good with nut allergies in the sense of showing on the labels which things had nuts. And there weren’t enough serving spoons so dishes without almonds for example tended to get cross contaminated by people using serving spoons which had almonds on them
We had a lovely stay here. The staff were really nice, the all inclusive food buffet was fantastic (lots of salads and vegetables) and we were consistently impressed with the quality of the food. We had a sea view room which had lovely views of the sea. The pool area was great and there was plenty of seating and being adults only, it was very relaxed.. However the hotel itself was lovely - the lobby area is like something out of an Agatha Christie Hercule Poirot novel! Would happily come here again

IrelandOur room didn’t have a balcony and the beds are quite hard. The Intercontinental dinner is a set menu and not very appetising. I have tenderloin medium rare and it was quite tough and chewy.
The breakfast was nice. Plenty of options for a variety of people coming from different cultures and use to different eating habits.

United Kingdom- We’ve been lucky enough to travel a fair bit and this hotel had some of the worst food we’ve ever had. A lot of the food lacked salt & pepper… One lunchtime I opened the caramel syrup to find a bunch of ants at the top of it. To top it all off, the pool-side burgers (they were pink) gave us really bad food poisoning. My husband was projectile vomiting all night - it was really rough. We went to Turkey for 3 weeks last summer, go abroad about 3-4 times a year and haven’t experienced food poisoning once. - The next morning, housekeeping didn’t come to clean the room and we called reception about 4 times before someone came. This took about 2 hours of waiting - we had to wait as we needed to tell them about the carrier bags of vomit on the balcony and the sheets. - A La Carte restaurant was okay but the food gave me food poisoning again the night after. I noticed an ant in my glass of coke that evening & I told the waitress. We watched her drain the coke in the dispensing machine and refill the same glass. I’m quite cautious about bacteria and I don’t think that was very hygienic. - Pool and beach staff acted like you were a burden if you, God forbid, asked them for anything. I didn’t see them treating others like this though… - Ants in the room when we checked in - probably a good 20-30. Reception told us to “ask housekeeping for a spray” which we did… Didn’t mind as we’re quite easygoing but surely the right service should’ve been to ask housekeeping to come to our room with spray? - Very expensive in comparison to other quality 4* hotels… we paid £2.5k and didn’t really seem like £2.5k worth of service. Won’t be coming back in a hurry.
- Location is good, although if we were to come again we would probably stay closer to the main strip (personal preference) - Reception staff were lovely - especially Fatima :) - Hotel cats!! <3 - Compared to other hotels it was very easy to secure a sun lounger. After 1pm, some of the day beds became available too which was lovely. - Lovely view of kasbah from our room even though we hadn’t requested for a sea view. Thank you for this.

SwitzerlandI think more thought needs to be thought about the type of activities and entertainment on offer. example white party night music etc was not suitable for all ages, bar should have been available for the night. Bingo with prizes and better ambience. Non-alcoholic drinks should be available other than the highly sweet cordial drink on offer.
Excellent facilities, good food, ambience amazing

United KingdomThe sunbed situation was ridiculous. One couple of German women put their towels down on one of the day beds and didn’t return for 7 hours! All the sun beds were always taken around the pool, mostly by people who weren’t even there!
Lovely room overlooking the beach and Jane our housekeeper was fantastic. All the staff were friendly and had exceptional customer service. Food was good and of good quality. Fridge stocked up daily with water and cans. Short walk to the shops etc.

IrelandAbsolutely make sure that you request a room as far away as possible from the night club next door or you’ll be awake most nights. Pools get very crowded and you need to wake up at 7am to secure a spot near them otherwise people put towels on sun chairs. The hotel should stop this practice. Our shower was filling up with water every time we used it, we called front desk three times but they never fixed it and when we pointed it out at check out we were met with utter lack of interest by one of the older ladies working behind the front desk. Some of the front desk has attitude and this is not ideal, especially when you need help. Nobody asked us if we needed a transfer upon checking out either. This disappointed me quite a bit. Also security guard asked us where the taxi driver took us to buy Argan products and hinted we got ripped off just because we didn’t book with him when we actually went to an official cooperative.
Adults only hotel, this alone makes all the difference! The food in both buffet and bar is all outstanding for quality, variety, freshness and presentation. The grounds are beautiful and well kept. 2 pools one with a swim up bar, it would be nice to have better cocktails made with a blender which they don’t use. The lobby and the spaces around it including the bar have beautiful decor and vibe. Beds are on the harder side but very comfortable. All the waiters in both restaurants buffets and bars are amazing and so are the ladies who clean the rooms, make sure you leave a small tip. Location is good, beachfront with private beach space and easy access to beautiful and spacious boardwalk. The night entertainment is really good and varied, we enjoyed it very much!
