Staff would tell us one thing, and another would tell us the opposite. Since this was a post wedding booking, the first night was supposed to include free in-room breakfast. But when I made the order, I was told we had to pay. This was later fixed when I talked to reception. Also the reception told me they will give the second day a free in room breakfast service as a courtesy, but the next day we faced the same problem as the first day again. We decided to just go downstairs and eat.

Straight forward process, friendly staff. The hotel is very quiet and you don't get a sense there are even people staying in it until you go down for breakfast.

The only issue in this hotel is the AC in Winter. There is no AC. When you close your balcony door, the room temperature gets high to the point that you want to turn the AC on to maintain 23-24 room temperature. Nope. The only solution is to open your balcony door :/

The gym facilities are huge and there is lots of equipment. However, there is no one inside giving any directions. The first time I visited, most of the lights were off, and I had to go back to the hotel desk - they didn't know how to turn them on and had to call maintenance. There are no towels (and the hotel desk also couldn't provide - told me to go back to my room to get one). There is actually a women's only section as well. I was working out in the "mixed" area, and another guest took me around to the "women's" section. I was afraid that I had offended the other guests (all male) by being in their area - the hotel reception could have done a better job of explaining the gym.

The room was very comfortable and the breakfast was wonderful! I enjoyed the local food items. The rghayef and amlou - so good! Great location near the train station. There is a gym facility attached to the hotel. I chose the hotel because of the proximity to train station and gym. There are very few hotels in Tangier with fitness facilities - this should be more prominently displayed in your various websites. Not all of them have that listed as an amenity and I had to call hotel to confirm. Front desk staff were very helpful. Organized a taxi to get me to Chefchaouen!

The entrance doors weren't working and the entrance was semi-flooded due to rain. When we requested an umbrella we were told they don't have any more for guests, but they still had a few by the entrance. The bathroom door was broken when we arrived (couldn't close or open), when we told them about it they said it was just the mechanism and it's ok, after we insisted they sent someone who indeed changed the lock.

Service was very good, especially at breakfast and the bell boys. The breakfast was large and delicious, including fresh french elements and Moroccan elements.

SPA has to be paid extra and is part of separate spa services, not of hotel. They were half hour late to open at 11am and half hour of sauna is charged 20 eur a head

the breakfast buffet is very poor for a 5 star hotel, the 1st bathroom door lock was broken, was promised to be fixed but it was never done.

it’s centred perfectly within the city we had an amazing king sweet with breakfast, terrace has an outstanding view to the mountain hill and partial see view. special thanks to KARIM from lobby, he made our stay extremely comfortable in Tangier. Also, special thanks to ASMA the SPA manager, she was kind enough to visit me when i had a concern.

The only complaints we had are that we needed to request room cleaning as the room was not cleaned in the 2 out of the 3 days we were there and that the indoor pool was with extra charge

The pillows were weirdly lumpy. Which was a surprise given soulless hotels are usually at least pretty good at that sort of thing.

I only stayed here because booking.com screwed up my original booking somewhere with character, so if you're into the soulless hotel thing, my words are not for you. The advantage of these places is they're reliably all the same. No more needs to be said, really. It's fine.
