Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

GermanyWe spent two nights at the Camp. The guys working at the camp were a pleasure to interact with and were very knowledgeable. They accommodated a special requests that we had, and also helped get our vehicle unstuck in sand (we drove our vehicle to the camp site; most people use the hosts' transportation to get to the site). They were also culturally knowledgeable, and most if not all of the camp staff were originally from the local area. We enjoyed all of the cultural and natural places they took us to during our stay, and they also arranged camel rides, 4-wheeling in sand dunes, visiting a Bedouin family, visiting a Bambara music organization, and other activities. Dinner and breakfast provided, and were great. We also enjoyed the music and drumming.

ItalyTransport to the camp is not included in het price, you have to pay a steep 25 euro per person to be driven to the camp by car or 35 to get there and back by camel or 50 to get there by camel an back by car It was very hot at night, in the tent we had 40 degrees celsius, outside 36 still at midnight - yes, it's the desert in summer (beginning of august), but just don't expect cooling down at night really
It was wonderful, good food, nice personeel, very atmospheric place (camp), good beds, clean, very quiet, the dunes, the evening light, a lovely, private camel ride in the beautiful dunes - like 1001 nights We were just10 people at the camp - that was really heaven -but we heard that it can get quite full with up to 40 people at the camp, so check in advance if this matters to you

Portugalthis was the best part of our trip to Morocco! the guides and hosts were incredible… made sure we didn’t miss a sunset, a sunrise or the moon rise. we were treated like kings and queens. the tents are just gorgeous. so comfortable with every amenity from a flushing toilet to a shower to electricity. they provide Berber robes for dinner and the mornings. it’s chilly in the desert! the food was incredible… the Berber omelette!!!! it felt like being at home. my only advice is to book two nights up front. you won’t want to leave! we rode to camp on camels. we drove to the top of sand dunes to see the sunset. we spent a full day lounging in the hammocks and enjoying the camp. was the most relaxing day! we got engaged at the top of a sand dune and will return to get married at the camp next year. at night, we had a fire and sang and listened to our hosts play drums. do not miss out on this. it will be the highlight of your trip too

PortugalTop luxury camp is excellent! Above any expectation! We had a big tent like a large room, a very comfortable bed, toilet and a shower. Clean, comfortable, great quality of food in abundance. The staff is very polite and helpful. At night, after dinner, we danced and we played the local instruments. The experience with the camels is unique. You definitely have to live it even if you are not the most adventurous person! We went with the camels and came back with the jeep. I highly recommend this place

There was a man who made us get up and dance and made us laugh. We enjoyed dancing around the fire. The staff was very friendly, attentive and helpful. The owner was also very friendly and welcoming

Beautiful atmosphere. After a camel ride in the desert we had a delicious big dinner. In the evening there was a drum demonstration by the fire. Afterwards we had a good chat. They answered a lot of our questions about life in the desert. The night in the desert is good to enjoy. There are many places to sit and relax and enjoy the stars sky. For breakfast there was a wide selection of many delicious things: Yogurt, Moroccan pancakes and bread, eggs, cheese and more. We would have liked to stay a few days longer. There was still a lot to discover around Morocco Members of the camp they were taken care of us a lot . Thank you for everything. Wish I'll be back again as soon as possible Highly recommended top luxury camp so beautiful sweet

CanadaThe owner and staff were extremely attentive and always made us feel welcome. I had many questions before my stay and the owner was quick to respond. He made arrangements for our camels for us to go to the camp at our request in advance. You first, (if you came by car), park at a (safe location) riad and then are driven to the camels close by. Your luggage is delivered by car to the camp and waiting for you when you arrive. During the journey there are stops for photo opportunities and then to watch the sunset. We then arrived by camel, to a magically lit camp and were immediately offered tea and some snacks under the gazebo. The camp (like all of them) was situated next to the dunes, but you really feel like you are completely in them.During the stay the owner asked if we were interested in any activities. We inquired about quads and he also arranged that for us. They have sand boards you can use for free too. You have to pay cash, but not until departure. We also included all of our tips at the end which was nice as the staff divide them up. We returned by their vehicle at no charge which I recommend because after everything, we felt we were ready to just start heading to our next stop. One night is not enough to get a full experience (but is better than nothing if you are limited on time.) Two nights are perfect. They have a buffet breakfast (eggs, fruit, breads, pastries, yogurt, juice tea and coffee). Dinner was included too and was also good. They served a different entree each night. As soon as you finish dinner everyone heads over, a short walk from the camp, to a campfire and entertainment. We got to dance and also practice with their instruments. The tents were decorated lovely and were very comfortable. We had a king size bed and two twins. There is also seating outside each tent. I highly recommend this camp as it was definitely the biggest highlight of our two week journey

CanadaMerzouga desert luxury camp exceeded my expectations. The camp was magical, situated among the dunes, I experienced Sahara feeling with the total silence. The tent was in enforced cotton, spacious, clean, and beautifully decorated. The bathroom was clean and nice. I lounged under the stars, basking in the moonlight, on different locations at the camp: there are comfortably arranged sitting areas. The food consisted of cultural dishes that had a modernized touch and was absolutely delicious and plentiful, every night I barely got to the main dish! I had a magical stay among the dunes in this beautiful and serene camp with wonderful people. I would like to thank Youssef and mustapha and all the other courteous staff that made my stay memorable and that joined in for live traditional music on my last night that was spent in front of the fire under the stars! A moment to treasure :) As a side note; I was in contact with the first day of my booking constantly. I had questions that was answered promptly by Aicha, thank you! I booked a private driving tour with a 4WD and got to see the culture of Amazigh people, my luck was that I was guided by mustapha who is also managing the camp. Another thank you for your hospitality! :)

MoroccoThis place is better than you could imagine. mustapha made this stay one of our favourite stops in Morocco. We travelled with our baby 9months and our boy 2yrs old and Omar was just awesome with the kids. The room is amazing , comfortable, clean and beautiful!! It was cold at night but not under the covers. The dunes are right Infront of the camp, there are other camps around but this camp is so well situated you don't realise. The food was delicious and they even made our little boy something different. After the meal we went around the fire and they played Berber music it was magical under the stars. The next morning, we woke up early for sunrise, ate a delicious breakfast and then sandboarded down the dunes with mustapha. If you are hesitating, you should stop and book this! We are down to earth people and completely loved this whole experience. Thank you to the whole team Youssef for the crazy driving and constant enthusiasm. ismail for the clear communication and organisation with what's app and mustapha for his time ,kindness and for making this experience so special !

PortugalThe service is incredibly warm and professional from the first moment you arrive you feel genuinely taken care of, especially by the awesome, helpful and humble Mustafa. The camp is very clean with a beautiful, traditional designs on the interiors which are cosy and safe. Very peaceful and relaxed environment in the dunes with great activities to do during the day and nice campfire/ musical jams at night under the beautiful sahara stars. The food exceeded our expectations with huge portions and original recipes which break up the regular pattern of food you may have been eating at other restaurants in Morroco. The guys really care for your experience and work hard to provide extra details that make it stand out from any other accommodation we stayed at in Morroco. Amazing value for the money and a perfect place to get away from the world for a moment.

GermanyIts the most amazing place to stay in. We took the camel ride to the tent during sunset and it was just beautiful. All was arranged to a perfection. Nice dinner, great entertainment around a camp fire in the evening. We even learn to play drums by the staff. Sunrise was just out of this world. Hope to come back one day. The tents are clean and super comfortable with big warm blankets on the beds. Also the bathroom in the tent is superb.

NetherlandsIf you don't want to do every activity they have, which we didn't because they were super expensive (paying 120€ to go for a 1h buggy ride for example) they let you wait hours and hours with nothing to do. Besides the day trips there is nothing to do on camp and you can't leave without having to pay additional fees for a driver which is a shame.
De location was very nice and the staff were super friendly

Taiwan1.The tent was completely different from what was shown in the pictures when I booked it. 2.The internet connection was very poor. 3.The campsite's location was not surrounded by picturesque sand dunes; you could even see regular road traffic in the distance. 4.The water tap initially had no water; it only started flowing after we reported the issue. However, the water flow was extremely weak, almost like a drip. Additionally, the showerhead was broken and would fall off.
1.No mosquitoes 2.the full moon was beautiful
