Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United StatesFrom the time we got off the camel, it was welcoming and well organised. Since a lot of meals contain aubergine in these parts (and me being allergic to it), Hassan, the owner himself cooked up a delicious egg tagline to ensure I and family are happy, The rooms, food, service including the night bonfire and music from the hotel staff was amazing. Got up early at 5.30 am for the sunrise and we were not disappointed. All in all - if you are in Merzouga. Stay here…..

United KingdomThe transfer service in the desert sounds a little pricey. We paid £25 one way and had a car full of passengers.
We loved the hosts, they were super friendly and replied to billions of questions about Berber life nowadays. I loved drumming and dancing at the fire at night, they even taught me how to play drums!

United StatesIncredible place I would rate this place 10 out of 10, it worth it to visit this place! Even it’s a bit hot because of the summer! But the camp stuff was there to provide all we needed! I and my girlfriend spend one night at Your Magic Camp! And it was unforgettable on the first day of arrival we booked camel trek for sunset and ATV quad on the next day! It’s was so fun! Most importantly, the camp serves a fresh local food and private a drums entertainment next to the fire! Highly recommend place!

BelgiumThe tours are quite expensive and could have a better price-quality. We were with 2 people and the transfer by 4x4 to the camp and back our car only was already €100. So the price of the camp is ok but that extra was already a lot more. About the tours the same feedback: are quite expensive for what they are. Something that would make the room better: airco and better wifi.
The camp is right next to the dunes which is amazing. The rooms are big and tidy and the people working here are really friendly and helpful! The camp offers different tours to do in and around the dunes.

PolandOur time at Your magic Camp was the most memorable of our entire trip to Morocco. I recommend staying there for more than 1 night so that you'll get to the spend a full day to enjoy the desert or participate in different activities. At night, we sat around the campfire and enjoyed some live music played by the entire staff. At the end of it, we were given an opportunity to ask questions about the Amazigh ways of life and politics. It was a very real, eye-opening, beautiful, learning moment for me and the other guests at the campfire. I should also note, our main host Hassan was an absolute pleasure and joy to be around. He is very funny, accommodating, and a genuinely interesting person. Ask him about Tuareg music and how he's involved. It will blow your mind.

United StatesThe camp is Berber-owned and -operated, so not only do you receive a more genuine experience, but your money goes toward supporting the rare landscape through the Berber commitment to their environment. The owner and his staff were kind enough to give us Berber music recommendations for our trip and help find some local crafts to purchase as gifts, too. This felt like a custom experience with a great team. I can't say enough wonderful things about Your magic camp and will absolutely return if I'm lucky enough to visit Morocco again.

IsraelIf I could give 6 stars, I would. This place is insane. Arrival by night with some 4x4 in the dunes, really good food, amenities are 5* for something in the desert... The hosts are very welcoming, interested in making your stay as memorable as possible. They arrange activities for you with local agencies (quad biking and bugging on the dunes, camel rides, etc...). Would recommend 100%

South KoreaGreat camping area that's well facilitated. Better than many hotels. We were able to get hot water, electricity (multiple outlets in the tents), and amazing views. Night sky was full with stars and planets. You could even see the outline of the Milky Way. It can be cold at night so do bring a jacket . We had mobile internet service at the camp.

United StatesThe accommodation consists of a Standard tent camp in the middle of the Merzouga desert, just as we had dreamed of from home. All the decoration is beautiful, especially the corridor between tents that is decorated with Berber rugs. The camp is immersed in the desert and you will feel surrounded only by sand dunes as soon as you walk away from the camp. In the evenings they serve delicious local food and there is a campfire with Berber musicians to liven up the evening. Highly recommended and we would repeat without a doubt.
