Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

NetherlandsThe bed was not comfortable. Sagging in the middle, too hard on the edges. The bathroom is a bit too small, you can literally take a shower while sitting on the toilet. No hot water in the shower. Small room that fitted 2 beds, but one was blocking the door of the closet, making the closet, basically useless. If a breakfast would have been included, it would raise the value.
Going from the best hotel (in El Jadida) in years to this one (in Rabat). The simplest one by far, so I have to put everything in perspective. Relatively cheap hotel for Rabat standards. Inside the Medina, so near the interesting spots but you know it's not going to be quite. The mosque across will wake you up early morning. The room was clean, which is most important. The staff was friendly. A 6 because it was clean, else it would have been lower.

HungaryThe hotel needs a serious renovation as facilities are falling apart.
The hotel is at the heart of Rabat’s most touristic places and from there you can walk around. The staff is very helpful and friendly.

United Statespictures were accurate.. we knew we were booking a basic accommodation but there was no hot water in the shower (which is really just a shower head in an otherwise tiny bathroom with a sink and toilet), WiFi was non existent in the room.. not very clean, no AC which is advertised accurately but it makes the room very muggy. overall we did not think this was a good value for $30+ usd a night for their most basic twin room.
location was good, just inside the Medina

United KingdomThis place was absolutely shocking. There was a persistent leak from the bathroom ceiling falling directly onto the toilet. The person on reception had their phone blaring out a streaming film. There were no redeeming features. On this trip I stayed in 4 other properties 3 of which I totally recommended. I wouldnt stay here again if it was free !!

MoroccoScammers forced me to cancel the booking in exchange for staying in another place nearby that had nothing to do with what actually this looks like on pictures for exactly the same amount of money... I sincerely don't recommend staying there... At least if you're looking for a decent stay and experience!

United KingdomWhere should I start, it is a long list. Remember, I stayed there for 2 nights, On the first night I landed in Rabat at 10 pm and reached the hotel by 1am, I moved somewhere else after the second night. The room was dirty, the floor was sticky (tiled floor), your feet will get stuck on the floor. There was no fan, I have to ask for it. The fan was broken as well, it does not keep its head up, keeps falling. They did not provide us any towels initially (we have to ask for it on the second day when he got us one towel for 2 adults). No toiletries available. No toilet tissue available. There was no bin in the room. Only one in the toilet. The lock of the room was dodgy, it was loose and keeps moving with your keys. They will not provide you wifi password unless you ask for it. Finally, they started with misinformation from the very beginning, which was parking available (I chatted with the owner) but no, the nearest parking was 5 min walk. The guard of the space will ask for money to park there. Lastly, I wish I did not stay there. I stayed a lot of rubbish places but this was too demoralizing. You expect few basic amenities from a hotel costing approximately 35 euros per night. Avoid if you can, there are better hotels nearby.
Only the location.
