Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

BulgariaThere’s no such thing.
That was the best night of our stay in Morocco! The place is absolutely amazing, we loved it. Hasan is amazing as well. At first, we thought that the camp was a scam, because everything looked perfect and there was not a single bad review. Now we know! The dinner was very delicious, the breakfast too, the night show was magnificent and very entertaining, the people surrounding Hasan are very kind and friendly. The rooms are… I just cannot explain - they are definitely a must-see. The bathroom was better than those in the big sities in the riads where we slept the previous nights. I extremely recommend this place. You will not regret it! Also, it is a must to book a ride with the camels instead of the 4x4. (Additional cost - 20€ per person) You greet the sunset with enough time for taking pictures.

Unique experience, super deluxe tents. The accommodation is run by a super friendly and attentive family. We recommend reaching the tents by 4x4 to enjoy the evening sun longer. The food was very good and after dinner we were treated to a local music concert. ;) Hassan personally makes sure everyone has a good time.

IrelandWe were absolutely thrilled with Sky View Camp, didn't expect such a luxurious tent and service. Everything from reaching the camp by camel, watching the sunset in the dunes, the super delicious dinner, music around the firepit, stargazing from the bed was just simply amazing. IrelandEverything about the accomodation was brilliant from start to finish. Hassan is a true gentleman and makes sure to look after his guests. Spectacular room, facilities, and views of the desert. Dinner and breakfast were also excellent. Couldn't recommend our stay highly enough. We were also able to organise our camel ride and quad tour through the desert with the help of Hassan.

NetherlandsArriving from the dusty but amazingly beautiful dessert, the tents of sky view camp offers a true paradise! Stylish, colorful, beautifully detailed and excellent carried for! That includes the tasty diner, breakfast and the special good care of the family. Here, hospitality is more than what you learn to do your business successfully. It is genuine and comes from the heart! The dedication is unparalleled! The attention unlimited! They pick you up and bring you back to Merzouga. Under the guise of "we are here to help each other," they go further than you can imagine as a tourist. They bring you to a beautiful spot in the dunes to watch the sunset, on camels-we skipper that-. The sunrise van be seen from your own terrace. They even give you a Nomad/Berber drum show and learn you to do it yourself for a minut. Even if you don't make a trip to Merzouga you would make a trip to Morocco for these tents alone. You yourself deserve it, and they deserve it even more. Moreover, with their tips you can easily spend a day or two in this region.

BelgiumThe fact that we only stayed for one night! If you have the time, go for longer :)
The property is fabulous… a little gem in the middle of the desert! The tents were much more comfortable than many hotel rooms I’ve been too. Hassan was the best host! The food was very good, and the camel ride at sunrise just spectacular. I highly recommend the Sky View Camp!

Our stay at Sky View Camp was wonderful, we arrived by car and where able to park it on a sheltered hotel parking lot near to the street to Merzouga. Hassan collected us there and drove us to the camp. The tents are very very nice, clean and comfortable, the view at night is definitely worth it. We had previously booked a one hour quad tour through the desert through Hassan (highly recommend!) and in the evening the guests get served a delicious meal (soup, two main courses and dessert). In the evening Hassan and the other guys at the camp prepare a fire and play traditional music. If you want you can dance and try to play the instruments yourself (much more difficult than the guys make it seem). We booked one night and spontaneously asked if we could stay one more night, so that we could do a tour through different desert locations the next day and experience one more night at the camp. If you have the time I’d recommend staying two nights. In the morning a nice breakfast awaits you and one can slowly start in the day. Hassan and everyone else at the camp is super nice and we couldn’t have wished for a better time in the Sahara desert. Thank you for the great memories! :)

BulgariaEverything was perfect! Hassan is very kind and helpful. The glamping tents look even better than the pictures. These is a new deluxe section of Krich camp (check out their reviews, it has a very good reputation). The facilities were great, it was very clean, there was a heater inside the tent which was amazing. Electricity and hot water are available all the time. The outside common areas are comfortable and taken care of. The food was absolutely delicious. Transportation to the camp and back is free. Hassan orginised all the activities we wanted for affordable prices, he helped me prepare a couple of surprices for my bf’s birthday - a cake and a romantic dinner. He also helped us arrange our privite transportation to Marrakesh which was even cheaper than the regular bus. We also got a free ride to the dunes for sunset as a bday gift. The evening show was awesome and we got to learn a lot about the berber culture. It definitely exceeded our expectations. More than recommended!

PolandWell, the shower was cold as it was explained that in the boiler was used, it takes really long time to heat it again.
Well, we were here in January 2024, as they have mentioned it was operating only for two months then. So you could literally feel how new was everything. The blanket was super thick, we were a bit worried if it would not be too cold in winter, but with this gas heating it was just perfect. Glass roof is amazing and it was placed directly at sunrise, so even if we had a bad luck with cloudy night, sunrise was stunning. The room was really classy, mix of Marocan traditional style&modern. Dinner was really delicious soup, appetisers, main course and the dessert. Then some drumming lessons. Staff is really helpful and friendly, makes your stay wonderful experience.

PortugalWe really enjoyed our stay here. The camp is a bit far from the big dunes but it's totally worth it for the view from the tent. We were able to watch the stars every night. However it does get a bit cold and the only heater was a gas one so we weren't confortable leaving it on during the night. Breakfast could be way more complete but overall we had a great time.

PortugalBe aware that if you stay in Sky View Camping and you rent a car you will not be able to park your car at the camp. The owner will give you a parking space at a hotel near the camp to which he will pick you up and take you to the camp. If you do not speak with the camp owner about wanting a ride back to your car during the day you will be "stuck" in the camp as he leaves during the whole day to do grocery shopping and other personal matters. This is not specified in the camp description and made my girlfriend and I upset as we wanted to explore Merzouga. For example, one day we discussed with the owner that we were thinking about sleeping in the next day, but then ended up changing our minds the next day and wanted to go to our car and explore Merzouga. The owner thought that when we made the sleeping-in choice we had decided to stay at the camp throughout the day which does not make much sense (there is nothing to do at the camp during the day except the activities that are paid for such as camel rides or quad-bikes). For this reason, we ended up having an intense argument with the host as he called us disrespectful and that we were making him our "slave" for asking him to take us to our car when this was not part of the plan and he was not near the camp. Keep in mind that the host never spoke to us about the necessity of planning with him every day our plans for when we wanted to leave the camp so that this situation did not happen nor is this stated in the description of the camp. If you stay in Sky View Camp understand that the camp is far away from roads and that the only way to get there and leave is with the host and that you will need to plan with him every day when you want to leave and come back. This seemed to us something somewhat unpractical as when you are on vacation most of the time you just want to enjoy your time and not have to decide every day when you want to go and leave your place of stay.
The tent and atmosphere of the place were incredible. We loved the view at night from inside the tent towards the stars. During the night there is a "party" near a fireplace where you will hear the host and his friends play some local music with local instruments. The paid activities are unforgettable. Food is great despite not being able to choose what you want to eat. For dinner, there is always a four-course meal. Despite a heated argument explained bellow the staff were always very friendly.
