Good sized room, cobmfortable bed. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Good location in the centre of the Medina. We enjoyed our stay and are happy to recommend.

The bathroom door was a carved wooden trellis-like thing - no privacy to the room! The shower stall has no slope, so the whole bathroom floods upon taking a shower. Seemed short-staffed - staff appeared distracted, had to be called several times when we needed something upon checking in. They were pleasant and helpful once we got their attention though. No air conditioning in the room, although the pedestal fan provided was adequate. Not the hotel's fault - but the synagogue next door had a service on loudspeaker next door that went on into the wee hours.

Nice clean hotel, very modern. Good sized rooms. For a change after all the riads, appreciated having lots of mirrors including full length mirrors in the room and plenty of surface space. Good breakfast. Can smoke in the main dining/lounge area.

do not book the horse excursion through the front desk is my only suggestion. nothing bad about hotel , but unless you want to be picked up by a guy and his whole family that needed to be dropped off in random locations. don’t do it. also conned us into taking a two hour excursion once we got there, when we clearly said we wanted to do just one hour on the beach.

I didn’t dock a point but the pool was a huge disappointment. Not a big deal cuz we went to the beach instead but just fyi, it’s tiny and kinda awkwardly placed in the corner of the hotel roof. Also pretty shallow it seemed.

This hotel was a work of art. Beautiful rooms & decor. The bathroom was very nice. I loved how the shower, toilet, bath tub and even sink were separated so if you needed just the one, it was available! Beds were comfy and everything was nice and clean! The staff were all wonderful!

The staff were wonderful and so friendly and helpful during our stay and couldnt do enough to make our stay perfect. The breakfasts were served outside our room on the terrace and they were excellent. Dinner was a three course meal served in the adequate restaurant.But the food was delicious and cooked by the wonderful lady chef.Reception team excellent and efficient[Despite misplacing my tonic water!only joking!] Thankyou for a wonderful stay,we will be back. Rodney and Gina .

At times we felt we were inconveniencing the staff - no smiles or general air of welcome. The breakfast chef is the only lady that smiled! Shower drain was giving off a funky smell - I think this could be something common in Essaouira though.

The hotel is elegantly set. Great breakfast, rooms were gleaming clean but we did have a smell of stagnant water coming from the loo / shower drain. Quiet and relaxing. The spa offering was also amazing!

The cherry on the top would have been opportunity to be able to buy some of the beautiful decorations in the rooms. There are some items I would love to know if you could have them made and shipped to me? I look forward to hearing from you.

The breakfast was great. The location is perfect. The design is fabulous. Their Hamam and Spa is stunning in decor and treatments.

We would have liked to see A/C in our room, however, we came in a cooler time of the year and the fan was plenty enough to keep us cool. So a very minor point. I also note that other rooms do have A/C so I wouldn't stress if this is a must have.

The staff were very friendly & helpful, the accommodation was quiet, clean and centrally located. The views were lovely and the rooms were very well stocked.

There is no air conditioning, I understand that Essaouira is cooler than other parts of Morocco as there is a good breeze however to people from the UK it would be welcomed although we could open our windows to help us keep cool through the night & it was safe to do so.

You step out of the chaos of the Medina and into this peaceful modern clean sanctuary which is very welcome after a few hours hustling around the Medina. When we arrived, someone was sent to meet us outside of the Medina and help with our luggage, the staff from front of house to the waiters & cleaning staff are all so lovely and go above and beyond for you. Nothing is too much trouble (Yousef!) We were looking for something quite specific and Yousef took us personally to the shop which he thought might have it. Service like that is rare & makes a lasting impression. The room was bijou and very clean. It was small but very well laid out & for the price and only a few nights is perfect. We had a room with our own little outside eating area which was lovely for breakfast. The breakfast by the way is splendid. Fresh fruit platter, Moroccan pastries, breads, fresh juice, crepes & more! The roof terrace is a very nice addition to this hotel, several seating areas in a nice breeze & a panoramic view across the rooftops. I highly recommend staying here !
