Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United KingdomNothing. All was great
The staff were wonderful. We missed our flight and we had to book a car transfer. It took us 12 hours to get there and they were in touch with us all the way. They accomodated the check in at 5am and one member of the staff was waiting for us in the meeting point in the middle of the night. They were so attentive. We enjoyed the sandboarding and the camel tour during the sunset, it was wonderful. The food was tasty and abundant.

United StatesI can’t possibly say enough good things about Tassili. Hassan, Ishmael and all the staff were incredibly kind and ensured we had the best time. From camel rides at sunset, to traditional Berber music by the campfire to the day trip meeting a Nomadic community, it was truly a dream. Highly recommend!

United StatesRoom were very warm, even in April. Understand no A/C but a fan would have been helpful. Also, a separate closed trash bin would have been nice for toilet paper since couldn’t flush
Staff and tent was great. It was nicely decorated outside to relax and enjoy the views of the desert

GermanyBeautiful night full of stars. So quiet and peaceful. Very good vegetarian tagine. Kind personal that creates a very friendly atmosphere; sitting all together around a fire, singing and sharing jokes in the middle of the dessert :-).

United KingdomSketchy sandy track to get to the campsite parking.
Stopped here for one night on our way down to the Sahara on motorbikes. It's impossible to find, as it's down a sandy track off the main road. But there are dozens of sandy tracks! It's not signposted at all. But we called when we were lost and a lad appeared on a moped and led us the way. We parked up our motorcycles at a neighbouring campsite and they drove us by 4x4 to the encampment, hidden from everyone else it felt like you were right in the middle of the Sahara desert! Camel rides and quadbiking were offered but we didn't take part. A walk up the dunes to watch sunset was adequate. It includes dinner in the price and we were all desperate for a beer. The owner sent his lad out on a 60 minute round trip to pick up a case of beer for us! The evening was spent singing songs and telling bad jokes in English, French, Arabic and Berber with the local lads. The 'tent' is not a tent. It's a fabric walled house! It's very luxurious and the bed was super comfortable. Breakfast was ample and adequate and the ride back to our motorcycles by 4x4 was enjoyable.

CanadaVery luxurious camp site next to incredible sand dunes. The rooms are incredibly spacious and very comfortable, especially considered how isolated the campsite is. You are literally next to giant dunes! Incredible experience, especially witnessing the sun rising and setting from the nearby dunes. The staff is very friendly and the dinner and breakfast they prepared us was probably my wife and my favorite meal in Morocco! Definitely recommended!!!

United KingdomGuests were encouraged to sing and drum after the actual musicians had finished. Other guests were quite enthusiastic but it was not for me. Also, the door of our tent was very difficult to shut.
We had a large, comfortable and nicely furnished tent. Lighting is dim at night as only solar power is used, but there are plugs in the main dining tent where you can charge devices. We had a nice dinner and excellent breakfast in the dining tent as unfortunately it was too windy to be outside. The drumming and singing also took place inside the tent. The camp arranged camel rides for us which was great fun. The morning sun on the dunes was stunning. Dunes are in easy walking distance.

United KingdomNo hot water so couldn’t shower! However it was January and they run off solar power so I understood. Came for the desert not the hot water anyway! Be mindful that there are no power sockets in tents, only in the dining area. This wasn’t a problem but was unexpected.
Had an unreal stay in the desert thanks to this beautiful camp and exceptional hosts who were very accommodating and friendly. Food comes in abundance here, not always the most flavourful but certainly filling. Sand dunes right on doorstep we had a lovely walk and went sand boarding too. Camp has many areas to relax and take in surroundings. The tent was big with a huge bed. Gets cold at night so bring layers! Plenty of blankets and bedding provided. Chose not to do a camel ride however they looked well taken care of. Fire and singing was nice to listen to after dinner. Middle of nowhere so the stars are magnificent! Would return to this very peaceful location again.

AustraliaDefinitely bring a spare jacket - it gets really cold at night and early morning, and the tents have limited heating. Bring a torch! It's understandable that resources are limited, so lights and water need to be used cautiously.
Rashid, Ismail, Mustafa, and Muhammed were awesome! They treated us like family, ensuring our stay was comfortable. Meals were prepared by them (traditional Moroccan), which was delicious. Tents are situated right in front of a set of sand dunes, and it's white mesmerizing to see the sunrise (it's a 10-minute walk to the top of the dunes from the tent)

United StatesTassili Luxury Camp was so accommodating to our needs. They not only hosted us at their beautiful camp, but also arranged our translation to and from the camp as well as an overnight stay on the way to the camp. Tassili is a family owned Luxury Camp. They understand true customer service, & work hard to make sure you are completely happy. Omar drove us to and from the camp telling us about the history of everything Morocco. We asked question after question which he kindly answered. All of the information was facilitating & added to our trip. Their camels are the nicest! Food was absolutely delicious. We have never slept as well as we did in our luxury tent. And, mother nature provided a stunning sunrise, sunset & evening of a billion stars.

United StatesWe had an exceptional stay at Tassili Luxury Desert Camp. The staff was very attentive and professional. The camel ride and sand surfing was priceless. The live music by the camp fire at night was terrific. My adult kids then requested tea and cookies at 11 pm under the stars and they happily followed-through. The food - dinner and breakfast - was exceptional. We woke up for experience the sunrise in the Sahara, which we will cherish forever!
