The place is new, but in future I'd recommend a reading light, power point and a little shelf for each of the beds. There isn't much room to keep your bags so if you're messy like me you'll need to reign it in a bit. Otherwise perfect.

The location is set back from the street enough to be very peaceful, but takes mere minutes to get into the action. The owners are genuine, personable and present for any help, questions, advice, or a card game. The place is very clean with a rooftop terrace and multiple chill spaces with couches. There are cafes close by with very friendly staff and good food and coffee. The beach is very close too. A short walk through the alleys and you're in the heart of the beautifully chaotic markets where you can buy agonise anything you can think of. Craft supplies, tribal silver, local produce, big brand bags and shoes, a cinema... it's all there.

Staff is amazingly friendly, welcoming and go the extra mile to help you with whatever you need. So sweet and warm hearted. I really appreciated their help in arranging taxis in the wee hours, they went so far as to walk me to the taxi stand and wait with me at 4am! Also recently opened hostel, so bunks beds are comfy and new.

A magical place a few minutes from the medina. The rooms are spacious and nicely decorated, the shared bathrooms very clean and always with hot water. The common areas make it easy to socialize, the staff (especially Noufal) takes delicious and generous care. I will come back without hesitation if I ever return to Tangier.

-The room I stayed in did not have a window facing the outside. -There was a slightly humid smell in the room. -The kitchen on the terrace was not clean enough. -There are no lockers in the rooms.

-The area where the hotel is situated feels safe and peaceful. -Due to its location on a side street, the hostel enjoys a quiet atmosphere both day and night. -The staff is helpful and answers all questions, even before check-in. (special thanks to Nawffal!)

Absolutely amazing family around the hostel in the center of the old Medina. Very cheap and well equipped it is a very comfortable place for solo Travelers with a good atmosphere

Tangier is humid and there was black mold on the wall near my bed; I asked them to bleach it to kill the spores but staff don’t speak English without Google Translator and basically just said it is normal with humidity (but you still need to clean it!). Kitchen needs more utensils. Showers don’t drain well (same as almost everywhere I stayed though). Wi-Fi is unreliable. Staff are friendly but don’t speak English well and did not solve my problems — including a stinky traveler who had all their stinky stuff laid out across the windowless room instead of in their bag, which made us want to gag. That said, this hostel is newly opened and has potential to be great once fully cleaned, supplied and organized with expectations and rules like good hygiene!

Location is great. Common rooms are super charming. Has a kitchen. Staff super friendly, checking in to see if things are good each day. Ample hot water and shampoo/soap provided. Potential to be a great hostel! Laundry available (not sure of price).

Everything was great

Probably the best hostel we stayed so far in Morocco, the beds are comfortable, the staff is super nice, there are three bathrooms so no lines in the morning, the house itself is beautiful and it has a lovely terrace. We could wash our clothes, and when it was dry, they even folded everything and brought it to our beds. We got a welcome tea, Khalid is an amazing host, he spoke like 5 languages, and he made us feel home. Absolutely recommended.

The family that run this Hostel were extremely helpful, extremely kind and overall brilliant. Hostel was in a perfect location. Brand-new bed, extremely comfy bed, and therefore clearly never used. Great Wi-Fi. Lovely roof terrace.

I was fortunate enough to be the very first guest at this brand new hostel. This place is great. The location on the edge of the Medina is ideal, the staff are really helpful, and the facilities are good. The kitchen on the terrace has everything you need. The internet is fast. Nice, modern showers and comfortable beds. This will be one of the highest rated hostels in Tangier, I'm sure.
